I don't live in Richmond any more but always make a stop here when I visit! Good selection for all ages, occasions, and price points, plus I've gotten some of my favorite, clearly unique jewelry here. Highly recommend taking your time to hunt for older items that are marked down, and look in different sizes in case brands fit you differently. Way easier than trying to sell stuff on eBay too-- I drop off a bag and pick up a check monthly (or when I'm back in town).

I recently discovered Indigo Avenue and have really enjoyed it! While I have typically been a whole-hearted patron of Clementine (another consignment boutique in Carytown), I've recently turned my attention to Indigo Avenue because of how beautifully laid out the store was and how friendly and helpful the staff always are. I've had a phenomenal experience as a consigner here at Indigo Avenue which really made it a stand-out. They are very quick to sort and will look through your items as you wait, and they are fair and generous in their selections. The only downside is that my clothes aren't as likely to sell here. It is positive that they are less picky for consigners, but there is so much supply and so many things they take so your items can get lost in the volume.

This is my favorite consignment shop in Richmond. They have the best selection of top brands. I always spend an hour browsing every rack in my size. Their accessories are also worth perusing.

The customer service is lacking here. When you walk in, employers don't say a word to you or ask if you need help finding anything. We browsed in the store for a good half hour and the staff never acknowledged our (or any other customers in the store) presence. There were about 4-5 women working behind the counter all chatting about their personal lives. I'm all about supporting a local business but when you are a customer In the store, employees see you and glance at you and don't say a word, and they keep carrying on talking to their co workers, it gives you a bad vibe about your whole shopping experience. I know this is just a consignment store, but the staff at your neighborhood goodwill is a whole lot friendlier and helpful than the staff here. Also - the inventory was outdated and looked like thrift store items from 15 years ago. It was all overpriced for the products they carried. After my first time shopping here I won't be returning again.

I was never a consignment store shopper until I found this place. The people are great; the store is laid out well; and, if you're looking for "Lilly," there is usually a generous amount on a separate rack!

I was very pleased with the items of clothes and jewelry I found here. The layout is attractive as well. The whole experience was positive and everybody wins!
