My orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Kaplan, is great! I found the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center a few years ago when I needed a tendon release on my thumb. He and his support staff, office staff, and surgery scheduler were very helpful then - this was in late 2016 to early 2017. Because of my positive experience with them at that time, I went back to them for my current, more involved issue.

And this time, too, Dr. Kaplan and his office staff are great. His office staff are friendly and helpful both in person and on the phone. My current issue also required surgery. Dr Kaplan s scheduler, Crystal, went above and beyond for me regarding when I had the surgery: Because of COVID, scheduling surgeries is harder now due to reduced staff. I needed to have surgery before the end of the month, because that was the end of my insurance plan year. Otherwise, I d have to pay a whole new plan-year deductible. Crystal contacted the surgery center and when there were no earlier options, she said she d keep working on it for me. And then a few days later she called and had found me a surgery date that was within my needed time frame.

When I had the surgery, the surgery center staff were very helpful, competent, professional, and friendly. They answered my questions, explained things well - and helped my one-handed self after the surgery, lol.

I would, without reservation, recommend the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center to anyone who needs a hand to shoulder specialist.

Deanna is always so friendly, kind and caring! Her knowledge is extensive but she is able to communicate that knowledge in language understood by non-medical people. She also takes time to answer all your questions and I never feel as though she is trying to rush me out of the office.

Mollie H. is key to making the experience at this organization a special one. Her bedside manner is second to none. Just the right person for Dr. Merrell s patients. Dr. Merrell is also a very special Hand Surgeon. I ve never experienced such professionalism and care from two people. It truly matters when getting through a difficult time of recovery.

I LOVE Dr. Peck and her staff! Dr. Peck not only listens, but she HEARS what you are saying and is on it. I'm recovering from thumb surgery and I just don't know what I should be concerned with or what is normal in the recovery process. I ALWAYS feel so much better after I see Dr. Peck and find out that I'm okay. It's a long process to heal and I get frustrated and down and Dr. Peck lifts me back up. Her staff is amazing, Dr. Peck's care, concern, and knowledge are top notch... I won't see anybody else because I already have the best!!!

Mollie and Dr. Merrell are both so great! It s not often you find a surgeon or practitioner that you truly connect with, but I ve found two in the same place! Their amazing bedside manner and tremendous skill make each appointment fantastic. Lizette is also just the coolest, and she always goes above and beyond. Such a great practice!

Gannon and Crosby have provided world class care throughout my entire process. Gannon is the epitome of professionalism while being passionate about her work. She makes me feel like she genuinely cares and has my best interest at the top of her priority list. She is very thorough and accessible when I have had questions that I did not have while I was in the office. I cannot imagine there being anyone better in the business, she is amazing.

I was pleased with my first visit and got good results. I had a follow up appt today and says my tendon is getting better and will need no further shots. He is a very gentle and kind person that made me feel at ease. I would recommend Dr.Fisher to anyone with arthritis issues like myself. I Give him 5 star rating.

My experience at the Indiana Hand Center has always been positive. I appreciate their time and attention to my needs. I really appreciate working with Dr. Merrel and his team. Mollie, his NP, is so gentle and very thorough with her explanations of my treatment options. I would not go to any other place for my hand treatment than the IHSC.

I have been seeing Dr. Fischer for years. I have trusted his care through multiple surgeries for positive outcomes. He has a warm demeanor that makes you comfortable with him and his care. I highly recommend!

He was Compassionate very thorough I love that he did not push surgery right away. Definitely trust him 100%. Have already referred 2 more patients his way. Thank Dr Barry
