We did our homework, interviewed several providers as well as our generator contractor. IGT got the highest ratings. Their installation team was thorough, working til dark and on weekends to get us up and running. I cant say enough about how courteous the guys were. Looking forward to some serious reductions in our power bills.
Everyone at IGT was so helpful and friendly to me. I'm especially grateful to Brendan who listened to me, and even though IGT did not originally install my solar array, he was still willing to help me and was very attentive to my questions and help me find the perfect solution to a few lightning damaged panels. Hopefully, one day soon I'll have an electric vehicle, and I can stop going to gas stations!
I have been working with IGT for the past six months. They did an initial roof inspection and solar radiation estimates. Then after deciding on the size of our system, they did all the permitting and installation. After the install we had some problems with out peak output. They continued their great service and installed measuring equipment that was able to monitor each panel. After a few changes we finally reached our expected output and love that for the past month we have been energy neutral in our grid tied system. Thanks IGT and Greg for all the great service.
I interviewed 3 companies before selecting Independent Green Technology (IGT) Solar to install my panels. They designed a great system. They showed up on time, did a great job, it looks good and it works great. The system works so good I have not paid an electric bill since the system was turned on. We have survived 3 hurricanes and had enough power to keep my important items running. I like that I can go on the web and see how much electricity we are making. The system works so good that I bought a Volt electric car and did not have to buy gas for 3 months because the car ran on solar. The system has already paid for itself and now I am making money off it. This is a better investment than my retirement fund. I was so happy with IGT that I insisted they let me help them design and sell solar.
With thanks to IGT, we now have a solar field in our backyard and our electric bill is practically zero! Lonnie was extremely knowledgeable, honest, and professional. His presentation helped us make an informed decision. Our neighbors are now also installing solar with IGT. Not only are we pleased with our energy costs, we love that we are doing something good for our planet. We highly recommend IGT!
IGT installed 21 solar panels on my home and did a great job. They handled everything; design, permitting, coordinating with roofer (put new roof on at the same time), negotiating interconnect agreement with power company, and educating me, the consumer, on how it all would work.
It was IGT that advised me of the 30% federal tax credit.
And the really good part about this story? - the results exceeded the projections on what my rate of return would be - or how fast I will pay it off. Going a little faster than projected!

I had a great experience with IGT. They were prompt answering all the questions I had regarding solar and how everything worked. Since installing my PV system my electric bills have dropped by 90%. I am thinking about installing a few more panels to eliminate my bill entirely.
Used them to install a Tesla wall charger at my house. Professional and quick responses. After they came out to look at the job site, the quote was accurate, and I was made to feel informed about the options for how the work would be done and how it would effect the bill. Once we got the time scheduled for the work, they got it done very quickly while I went to work. Would recommend.
I did not deal with them on solar. I did however call their office to report one of their trucks for driving erratically. The vehicle (with their company logo) flew around me AND two other cars to merge very dangerously. Not to mention it was less than a mile from their office, guess he needed to cut us off to get their a few seconds earlier. When I called, I had the man on the phone act like I was lying. He kept RUDELY asking me to explain what type of road, and how many lanes. He didn't want the tag number of the driver, and to be honest he acted like I was making a false report. I am going to assume this man was the owner of the business, because an employee would not have been so pompous. I am sure this review will be removed, but the business and the owner need to realize you can't drive like an idiot with advertisement on your truck. Thanks!!!
I could not be happier with the solar arrays that IGT installed for us in our backyard. The construction is incredibly solid, and the panels/inverters are of high quality. There is no doubt that this thing will still be standing after a major hurricane! Hats off to Jordan for working with me on the design and getting our financing in order. Its been a real pleasure watching the whole process of putting something like this in, from building the racks, to digging the trench to run the powerlines, to the actual panel installs... These guys are pro's, and they stand by their products and services! I look forward to working with them again in the near future on a battery system and possibly solar water heaters. ;)
