The benefit of online learning with my work and family schedule was enhanced by the dedication of the WONDERFUL Instructors I had. The work load was not too overwhelming, and the content was exceptional. The school has resources for tutoring, and always responded to my questions and needs. I had a great experience with IU!
IU helped me feel like I could do anything I set my mind to. They gave me back the confidence I needed to pursue my career. I am very thankful for their time and patience.
I really enjoyed my time at Independance University. All of my Instructors were awesome. The Dean and Asst. Dean were super attentive to my grades and how I was doing in my classes. The staff and everyone was very helpful anytime I needed them. Awesome school especially if you are a Veteran they help you through the process.
Learning has always been a passion of mine and with the help provided here even though it may be online it is easier than expected. The reason classes here are so easy is because of the support that is given by the well trained staff that is always there to help you along the way. I love IU!
Obtaining my BS in Health Information Management is a dream realized with the outstanding assistance of Independence University instructors. In many cases students themselves, the instructors enhance the curriculum with extensive knowledge in their respective fields and timely communication with students. Since my enrollment in August of 2014, my experience as an online student at Independence University has been consistently positive.
The enrollment staff will say whatever you want to hear to get you enrolled. Your credits WILL NOT transfer to any regionally accredited college. Also the financial department does not do their job very well at all. I had all my outstanding balances paid upon my graduation date then they added another 6 thousand dollars to my account. I would not recommend going to IU.
The teachers were so very helpful all the staff was. I had a teacher who later became my academic advisor and associate dean, Mr.Brett Bjourne he never gave up on me and checked in with me even when I was fighting my appeal. Even now after I finished my classes is still helping me to attend a graduation ceremony closer to home. The staff still checks to see if they can help with anything I may need to find employment in my field. If you want a school that is supportive then this is for you.
I really enjoyed attending Independence University online college. The teachers and staff we're always very helpful and provided feedback when needed. What I like most about the college is that I didn't have to worry about someone else watching my kids I could take my courses at home, and still attend to my family. With that said though I still had to work hard in order to succeed and with so much help from my instructors made it that much more easier to do so. I would definitely recommend attending Independence University they're there for you every step of the way.
I have both a BS in Computer Science and a MS in Information Systems from IU and I really enjoyed their online courses. Moreover, they have a great curriculum along with a great Student Success Center, if you ever need any computer support and/or tutoring. Furthermore, the instructors were great and very helpful.
Independence University...was a great choice for me to make. The reason i said that, is because you can study at any time of the day/night. There are tutors helping you succeed. When I wanted to scream and give up...they had empathy and said for me to hold on and that it will be over soon. I am so grateful for the voice of confidence that I got.
I would recommend this school to any and everyone I meet!!
