I had several quotes to install a new AC unit. Independence Mechanical was the only company to call me back within 24 hrs. and show up on time for the appointment. They were the second cheapest but the lowest is not always better. They were by far the company I felt the most comfortable with. I would highly recommend!
Horrible experience. Company replaced a blower motor. This then resulted in the heating unit not working properly. They came out a few days later on a Friday and were unable to find problem. Technician told me at approx. 415pm after being here for about 2 hours that his boss was pulling him off job and someone would be out Monday. Received call around 10am Monday that a technician would be out in the afternoon. Waited until 230pm before calling a new company.

Took the time to explain how my furnace works. Now, I them to come back, to install the part for me.
These ppl are horrible. They change appointment after I took off work for the first one the scheduled the second for days later. Then don t show up for the appointment, don t call to let you know they aren t coming. They don t respect the fact that some ppl have to take off work for these appointments. So I missed 2 days pay. Don t waste your time they apparently don t need to do every job. Or they pick and choice which jobs they want to do.
Retiree gets great service from Independence Mechanical. My mother lives near Independence KY. At first she got an estimate from a big name service firm (rhymes with giant). They did a cleaning but quoted her $1,300 for service and said it would only last for one year - after which the Air Conditioner / heat pump would need to be replaced. We called Independence Mechanical (locally run shop I might add). Brandon came out (thank you Brandon) and after his inspection said the only problem was the filter restricting the airflow. One new filter later - problem solve. $1,300 not paid,; fear, uncertainty and doubt gone. Great service from Independence Mechanical and Brandon. Thank you!
