First year with my first child. I love the communication with the school. ICS makes sure you know what going on with the school. It's a safe environment and very diverse. My daughter has learn a lot and I can't wait for first grade.
I have been an ICS parent since 2002, when my oldest son attended. This school is AWESOME. I had my oldest in the Spanish Immersion classes there with excellent results and my youngest son, now age 10, in the non-Spanish Immersion class. So far, successes with both kids. Besides the great education received at this institution, the staff, teachers, deans and principals have been a pleasure to work with. I am always able to reach someone that I need, my questions have always been answered and problems solved. This school worked well with me over the years and works immensely to keep the lines of communication open between school and home. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a charter school that actually cares about it's students AND former students, as my oldest son still continues to communicate with people there, just checking up on him and seeing how he is doing with life in general.
Very happy ICS Parent since 2002
It is a great school! It has also high level of parent participation with great PTA.
I am a former student and I really enjoyed being in this environment. The teacher and student community is welcoming and supportive.
Its a great school overall but when you hit 7th and 8th grade.. Its no joke to be playing around.
It's the best school. There you can learn English and Spanish and the teachers are nice.
