not sure who to blame, but i submitted my request 2 or 3 times and got no response from any contractors and i can't review people i don't know exist so the bad review goes here

Served up only ONE potential vendor from out of state, probably 50 miles away, when there are MANY located within 5 miles of me. ImproveNet is time wasted. Thanks for nothing.

I called Geronimo (Wed. 7/1) and a young man came out. He looked at the feeder hose to my ice maker and explained what he needed to pick up at the store and told me he would return the next day. I have had several healh issues and did not feel up to it and I messaged him 7/1 evening and asked him to come on Frriday 7/3 afternoon instead. Friday afternoon came around and he did not show. I called him and he said someone was on his way. He didn't show either. I called again and it went to voice mail which was full. I called several times one after the other and it went to voice mail. That is why I'm writing this. I hope it makes a difference in how this business operates and that someone gives a hoot.

Good website was looking.for hsmfest information but I am a day late.

Spamming all forms of communication at the same time. Even after I hired someone else for the job. Hounding me gets you blocked and negative reviews.

I wanted someone for trash removal and all I got was ads for construction,hvac and remodeling.. I need trash hauled.

Explained, in specific detail, the job to be performed. Answered all of my questions. I called several places for a quote, yesterday, 10/15/19. He called me back within minutes. Those other places called me, today, 10/16/19. Very pleased with the work. Definitely will use his services, again, when needed.

Job has not been started. Plans to start in Sept or October due to weather temperatures. Get back to me for a rating after the job is completed

I've used Google and Android from the beginning, at least as soon as I could afford a cellphone. They work great and can do more than I can ever know. Nothing but good stuff for that side of the deal. But all the personal data collection, constantly inventing new ways to gather more of our pers. data, political onesidedness, blatantly manipulating search results, attempting to control society without anyone knowing (globally) etc... That's all a little too much for me to give more that a 3 piece. And leaning towards 2 because of the tyrannical overtones. Guess the world is getting better and worst at the same time. Google is a great snapshot of that philosophy real live and in action. Don't be Evil!

Please stop constantly asking for a review (a post to Google) every 30-60 seconds. It's irritating!! Thank YOU

Trantham Tree Trimming contacted me and say he'd be glad to give me an estimate. Said he'd be here on Sat. afternoon, at 5:30 pm he finally called to say he'd been too busy that day and would Sun or Mon afternoon work. I told him Sunday and he told me he would call when on his way. He must not have wanted the job but didn't feel he should notify me. Still waiting. Would not use his service or recommend. This was the only call back I received from this web site.+

Set up a potential project with them in the hopes of hearing from a variety of companies. 2.5 weeks later, I have heard nothing from anyone about taking up my project. THEN, ImproveNet asks me "how is the project going?" I am NOT impressed in any way shape or form by ImproveNet...

I contacted this company in hopes of finding a snow removal company in the area where my friend lives. Due to extreme health issues they were not able to clean snow away from their driveway, but needed to access hospitals for treatments. The company was so reassuring, professional and friendly. On the first snow they were there immediately and accommodated my desire to pay my friends snow removal bills. I can't say enough about how very happy I am to have found them and would highly recommend others to utilize their service.

Raymond was knowledgeable and that helped us a great deal going forward with our project. I would recommend him for work, and will continue calling him for future job s.

I did not ask for a "Home Inspection" and do not want a "Home Inspection"!! What I asked for is a swimming pool inspection to evaluate a previous plaster job.

The pitch was that I would get multiple quotes, however only ONE person reached out to me. I explicitly asked for the service of verticutting my lawn in my request, and this one person, didn't even know what verticutting was; I had to explain it to him. I am not sure how y'all run your business, but you need to put some effort in your vetting process.

If I could provide no stars I would. Only one plumber called, expressed interest, but never showed up to do the job.

Scam service that will not allow you to remove your personal information from their system, expect constant harassing phone calls.

They encourage their "partners" to pretend to be actual contractors, but they just sell your information without your consent.

Asked for info on deck construction. Sent me all kinds of other info but not decks.

I requested Masonry quotes- no one contacted us.... Wonder if the ImproveNet list of approved contractors is small or even non-existent in our area. Seems like a waste of time

Over 4 weeks now. Not one person has been in contact with us. This is just a scam .

Used this service to get quotes for my windows and in the first 10 minutes received three calls from contractors. All of them were professional and easy to talk to. Couldn't be happier!

The web will not allow you to get a good look at portrayed houses because they insert a flag over top of the photo requiring a review. The PRODUCT may be GREAT but hard to tell if they will not allow you look at it.

I'm very disappointed and frustrated. I never heard from the sprinkler company. And ImproveNet doesn't seem to have anywhere on their web for me to tell them this. This is the one and only time I will try to hire a contractor through ImproveNet.

It was 10 below outside and getting colder. We turned the heat up in our home and nothing happened! We called for help on line. Brett at Liberty Mechanical returned our request for help immediately. He was fantastic at helping us get our heat back on by giving instructions over the phone. I highly recommend this truly professional business. And there was no charge!. ImproveNet is the place to go to find the help that you need!

I am debating whether to have my basement bathroom remodeled or to go for the whole basement remodel at one time. This source is a great place to wander around, compare design ideas, and price check. I have a "love/hate" relationship with the pages that are bridges to the local whatever you need for your remodel. You know, put in a whole bunch of your info and within minutes, they are calling with a need to be onsite for a real cost evaluation for my project. I feel like I get so pressured to use the first one that responded. Oh well, plenty of industry estimation pages are found throughout this network. I really enjoy 2 areas: the first is where I am allowed to see general projects and the second is relative pricing per square foot. These are a fun set of pages in which one may dream, design and forget the price, unless they want to know.

Have not received one call nor any emails for the job. Have received several emails about signing up and other. No thanks!

This was not advertised as a distribution site but advertised under one specific business. I wanted to just submit to one, local company, NOT to a distribution service. I am getting spam from everywhere now. HORRIBLE.

I have an older flip phone requesting professional carpet cleaning to call me with phone # & nobody returned my calls!! I know several older people like me that do not like if you do not call on the phone you will not get my business! Computers and email are a fact with today's technology however face to face personalization & communication are still a major factor .

One of the most useful sites, both the designs, layout and color scheme is par excellence. These designs are especially suited for smaller town houses and multi family houses, where two piece bathrooms are essential requirement. Very informative site.

Didnt realize i was contacting a company that sells out leads until after the fact. Very disheartening that they hid this info until i started receiving calls unrelated to what i was looking for.

I d never heard of this company in my life yet suddenly I was flooded with email, calls, and texts from them and contractors asking about a project that didn t exist. Apparently I needed my hardwood floors installed. Too bad that Project never actually existed.

I was trying to find out how to stop the beeping smoke alarm because its disturbing my neighbors and the baby.But this page about leaveing a review would not leave long enough for me to find out how to stop it. Had an electrical problem and posted a request for an electrician. Received a response within hours and set up an appointment for the next day. Issue was resolved quickly.

Got website via search and immediately got a response with a phone call to confirm my number. That was the LAST time I heard from ANYONE. The claim was 24-48 hours. That was Monday. It is now Thursday. I'm in a metro area of 2.5 million so it's not like there is no one in this business. Great concept if it only worked!

I can only give 1 Star and that is due to the promptness of a phone call and willingness of the electrician to do the work. I had Dave from Twin Electric handle my commercial property. National Grid came twice to turn on the electric but could not due to there being a load on the line. A second electrician came to rewire literally everything because the work would have caused the whole building to blow up, including the other business adjacent to it. I have been delayed in the opening of my business and have had to pay double lease rent because I cannot move to the new location yet. When I contacted Dave to tell him that National Grid needed to speak with him, asap, he has not returned any calls or texts. I am requesting a full refund, as long as he responds quickly. If not, there will be other fees I will be forced to require of him. I am a very open and honest business owner and would never treat anyone in such a manner. REPUTATION IS EVERYTHING.

We were given recommendation for this company and the company performed above and beyond our expectations of a very difficult job.
