Reply: What do you mean by owner of the unit. The issue is my unit is occupied by someone else. Do you want me to settle it with the owner of the unit that has occupied my storage? If so when did you make this policy and where was this policy that residents have to settle issues on their own when you took my belongings out.

Ouch, lots of bad reviews. I'm not a fan either, although the receptionist is warm and helpful. But, after months/years of frustration with their confusing, poorly designed web site, and a few unhelpful conversations w support staff, I got the supervisor on the phone, who "mansplained" what I was doing wrong, such as using the wrong IKO web site (yes, let's further complicate this - apparently they have two and they're not linked). I'm not a web designer but I know a user-friendly web site when I use one, and theirs could use some help. Gotta wonder if the rest of their operation is as messy.
Update to IKO's response: I AM using the owner portal each time. It's still not a good website compared to others I use (mortgage co.; loan provider; phone company; insurance provider; credit cards; debit card)

A large dumpster was placed in my reserve parking space. I have contacted IKO multiple times. They have been non-responsive to my plight. This is completely unacceptable. Is there an agency that regulates property management companies. I need to report them.

It has been more than 3 weeks and i have not gotten back my storage. Do you guys only act fast when it is easier to trash some one's belongings. Why do you have discriminating policies. My belongings were thrown away and Ralph had a "i don't care" attitude. But when it comes to doing the actual work you stop responding to emails and disappear. You guys made a mess of the situation and now have disappeared when it comes to fixing your mess. SHAME ON YOU!

IKO's desk staff has been very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately the actual property management service is still just as abysmal as the service we received when it was just TCMG (the companies recently merged)

Communication from our property management team continues to range from poor to non-existent (starting with information about the merge which we found through auto-reply as the actual email sent to residents of our property was four short bullet points); though again the individiduals I've dealt with from the original IKO team have been informative and helpful.

Unfortunately our team also still seems wholly uninterested in following up with contractors/making sure work gets done. A leak we reported in December 2020 still hasn't been dealt with as of 4/14/21 and continues to cause compounding issues - water flowing down the street and a large mound of debris blocking off the sidewalk right where our parking space is. Lights have also been out along this area for over a month and have not been fixed - even after multiple cars were broken into (including my husband's) and had their airbags stolen.

Requests for information and action have routinely been ignored - service requests keep getting forwarded with no action. I did finally get a call back a from someone above my property manager at the end of March (after asking for clarification on IKO v. TCMG to inform a BBB complaint) but she wasn't familiar with the issues or the current state of our property. She said she'd look into it but its two weeks later and there has been no action taken or reasonable (any) explanation given for the delay.

I had been holding off on reviewing IKO, but at this point they have had 4 months to fix integration issues with the TCMG and ensure all clients are receiving the community management services they are paying for.

Very expensive HOA for literally nothing. Very responsive when something is wrong with your account or when they need your money. Not at all responsive when you actually need something from them and ask for a small job to be done. Send in a request 2 months ago and it s being ignored simply because they don t want to deal with it nor want to spend the money that you actually have given to them throughout the past 2+ years. Al I want is for my parking numbers to be repainted so visitors see the spot being reserved and stop parking there. That s a 10 min job and a $10 expense. Do I really need to get the BBB involved for a minor paint job? They are a joke when it comes to caring about the community, the esthetics of the building or the residents. Money is all they care about.

Do not work with this company. They listed a rental listing on Zillow and it turned out to be a complete scam. They provided my contact information to the "landlord" who wasn't even the real owner of the property. When I alerted them of the scam after paying $5,000 in security deposit and first month's rent they were not at all helpful.
