Ikea Utrecht Review

Flat suits, wide range and always busy. Unless you're smart and looking for the edges of the opening hours. For example during dinner time.

What can I say. It's an IKEA store. It's the same everywhere. Lots of useful stuff. Dishwashing brushes. Batteries. Loads of cupboards. And I guess there's 2 kinds of people: you either love IKEA, or you hate it. Well alright, I might be somewhere in between: I hate to love it. It's convenient, my son loves it, I can get pretty much anything I would ever need. But I truly hate that I love it.

This is a different ikea than you're used to because the layout is completely different with sloping curves and other things, nice to visit. Furthermore, it has everything that other ikeas also have of course.

This ikea is a bit different than the others with its layout or floor. It's nice to see for a change. Other than that it is just an ikea.

Picking up your order was easy and especially fast!

Ikea is a spacious store with a lot of assortment which is great for the everyday person. Even a little dissatisfied with sofas and chairs with dust (going backwards quickly in comfort) for cupboards, tables, desk's it's a great place. Too bad you can not take a short route from the restaurant outside. The short routes in the store could also be indicated somewhat more clearly by more indication or larger pictograms. All in all, you can find everything pretty smoothly by the standard layout and assortment per store.

Visited for the evening meal. Salads were almost empty and not really tasty (at least disappointed)

You always go home with more things than you actually need. It remains a shop where you can buy nice things for not too much money.

At THIS time, visitor to the IKEA Coffee Bar.
What our surprise is;
There is an employee WITH SHOES ON to clean a grill or something at the bar and has 10 cm of his shoe sole food.
We react in a highly surprised manner to which the employee shrugged.
Another employee said laconically that he wanted to put aside the food a bit.
And the third one lady looked rather surprised that we actually didn't need anything anymore after seeing this unsavory display.

Are IKEA restaurant employees not trained on the content of the HACCP conditions / requirements ???

I would like to get a response to that.

It is good, not expensive, and I love it very much. I always buy things for my home so I advise everyone to go to it

Nice and big and lots of choice, they are now also actively renewing their showroom. The restaurant is very spacious with a coffee corner where you can order special coffee. It is located behind a residential boulevard near the highway in Utrecht, easy to prepare with plenty of parking space.

The physical store is nice, no complaints, but their online customer service and logistics really suck!!!

An Ikea as you would expect from an Ikea. This Ikea does not yet have a single row for all cash registers like in Delft unfortunately.

30 minutes waiting time to return an item is far too long!

Got a new mattress after seven years because it sagged. 10-year warranty. Super service from IKEA.

IKEA is fine but there are always lines even if I want to bring something back with my children, we are there for at least 1 hour, they can do nothing about it but I just wanted to say it. I have nothing to complain about. You can also ask me questions and I will answer them. Bye

IKEA is clearly declining, or someone in management has received an IKEA manual "How do you build a customer service" and do not understand it.

Only wanted to know if they actually have an article in stock, because there are only 6 pieces on the site. Last time it was not there and you can not call anyone, except a computer that is as "stupid" as the website.
You can not reserve the product and can not order through the website. I never came into IKEA again. But this really does everything for a company with billions in revenue. What a joke this. Prutsers.

As all Ikeas, clean, functional, nothing extraordinary.

The food was lukewarm, but otherwise friendly staff

Well helped in putting together the linen cupboard. Friendly staff .

Easy access from the highway. A lot of parking spaces. Standard IKEA which means good service especially with guarantee issues.

One advice (actually two). Don't go on a rainy saturday afternoon as it will be too busy. And get an ikea family card so all purchases are registered (guarantee issues).

Unfortunately the comforter was what I wanted 2 times not. Now learned that I first have to check online or that it is in stock .... well handy

Dirty food department always there, stick tables and stuff

They were redesigning the living room and sleeping room spaces, so a lot of empty rooms. It was not made clear on the website on forehand that this would be the case, so overall a rather disappointing visit.

Everything available is quite in budget , good variety, clean and suitable for visiting with kids , stroller friendly

Good accessibility, nice breakfast as always only the coffee is no longer tasty these days. Fortunately they have a coffee bar where you can buy drinkable coffee. For the rest still nice things and nice staff

Typical ikea meal and then walked through the store. I was able to score a nice cupboard, which could easily be found in the self-service store.

Ikea nice shop, a pity that the restaurant is still closed very handy for the cash register, still bottles of water and further that you can still buy a sandwich for on the road.

I compare a day IKEA always as a day Efteling, very nice for shopping !!!!

It is at a great location. The staff are very helpful. The support on returns and delivery is really good. Top marks.

We like to come to Ikea, but no longer go to the Utrecht location! Reason: very dirty parking garage, dirty toilets, messy arrangements with semi-assembled furniture and in the warehouse everything is dusty, dirty and a mess. We are not used to this from Ikea. Incidentally, there was nothing to fault the staff: they were without exception friendly!

IKEA is IKEA. Especially good food and good reliable stuff.

Lovely to wander around a day.
Accessible by stairs and elevator, accessible bathroom, large dining and drinking occasion. A real Coffeebar!

Always like to stroll around here every now and then. They always have nice new gadgets. And then coffee with some goodies to take in the restaurant.

This Ikea has awesome shortcuts. You can be out in 15 minutes

Never again for me. Poor quality of the product and almost all items were damaged upon delivery.

Breakfast has become expensive and has many new rules. Still nice and cheap.

At the customer service for a small question waited 35 minutes.

Well if you can take it ... the IKEA on Saturday, I think it is pretty, after 5 minutes I had it there, very nice coffee and chocolate mouse in the restaurant

Fun. Reasonably priced. Restaurant could be a bit cleaner. And I prefer warm vegetables instead of almost cold.

Very difficult to exchange a crooked pan!
Thing had been crooked from day 1, never been in the dishwasher, never held under the tap when it was hot .... A pity.
