IKEA Portland Review

First time visiting Ikea. The food was tasty! Meatballs were slightly cold but I still ate them all. Since this was my first time at Ikea I'm not sure if employees are supposed to come up to you and ask if you want help or if the customer is supposed to go to them. Anyway, I was not asked if I needed assistance.

Just what you'd expect from any ikea. I was here on a labor day and it wasn't that packed so that's a plus :)

Excellent furniture store. Although most of the furniture is fair quality, is easy on your wallet. Great selection and unique choices.

Unlike other furniture stores they have kitchens and cookware, bedding, plants, and other small items no one else has, reasonable prices. They even have a cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

IKEA is fantastic. Every time my partner and I come here to upgrade some part of our home, we are pleased and inspired. IKEA is simple yet elegant. I love that they have variety so that customers can find either affordable durable furniture of excellent quality or you can upgrade your budget and get the same durability in something a little more special and unique. Besides furniture, IKEA has a wide selection of everything else you need to make your home you. Our last visit we got a wonderful picture and frame for our kitchen, placemats, and a glass cup. Then of course we finish our visit by getting a very affordable and hearty meal. Haven't been disappointed at IKEA yet!

We love wandering around Ikea and also grabbing lunch a nice entertaining way to spend a rainy afternoon. We never walk out without a small, sometimes large, purchase.

They have everything and more you could possibly want or need. Great prices.

I love IKEA for the selection and quality at a bar in price. However I do not particularly enjoy the feeling of needing to pack a lunch and GPS just to pick up a light bulb or coaster set.

Will they be offering store guides in the near future?

Great place to get inexpensive furniture, but also has great bathroom, kitchen, and lighting accessories. Perfect if you just want the basics.

Excellent store but needs better signage, markings, and arrows for exits and routes through the store. It can be difficult to find the exits.

Something for a fast change of look ,great guarantee 1whole year.

Found the perfect chair for my new writing studio efficiently, in comfortable surroundings.

Incredibly busy, an hour wait to check out after a 10 minute wait to get in. Otherwise it's still Ikea! Where else are you going to go to get cheap furniture and coffee and frozen yogurt?

Here to IKEA be warned there is a line it's a snaking line but it moves really fast probably took us five maybe at the longest 10 minutes to get through the line and there don't have a lot of things that you would normally be able to get there on backorder or they're just ran out and no more restaurant they've closed it there's a little bit of food downstairs and there's still some food for sale like the frozen things but overall fun this is not the best picture but you get the just of the line

I come here just to have the swedish meatballs and walk around. I always do find something I can't live without.

As Ikea goes this is your run of the mill. Always packed, employees are doing the best the can but can't address everything, and food is the dependable prefixed goodness you expect lol. There really isn't a good day to go there to avoid a crowd... Because wel...l it's an Ikea. I've had luck early Wednesday morning though.

Store layout is like a maze..there is cheese at the end but you have to pay for it..most of the furniture is flimsy..some assembly required

Ok people I am giving it four stars because the building is nice and clean and the staff is great. As far as furniture goes its fine if you don't mind cheap furnture

Useless delivery service from this Ikea.

Made an in-store purchase on a Friday. Scheduled next-day delivery for Saturday. Waited for 4 hours, delivery company no-showed. Rescheduled for Sunday. Again waited, again no-showed. Rescheduled for Monday. Again waited, again no-showed.

Never received a call or heads up that they wouldn't be making the delivery window. Disrespectful. Waste of 12 hours of my life (and counting; now it's rescheduled for tomorrow, will see if anyone shows up).

Don't waste your time on delivery. The store itself was fine, would go back for small items, but would never order anything that doesn't fit in the back of my car again.

An employee helped me find just what i was looking for with no hassle on either side! Was perfect!

My only complaint: too many people act like they are in the damn club when they get here. Please pick up randoms in a bar like decent folks, not standing in the aisle trying to look cute where people like me are trying to shop please!!

IKEA at PDX has been popular since it arrived and it maintains that popularity still today. Whenever I find myself in need of assistance I have always, save one or two occasions, been greeted kindly and with very effective help. There's also some pretty good food here that you should definitely try out!

The wait in line at the food court was a bit too long but food was excellent.

Clean, welcoming, and pleasant. I saw an employee wiping all the cart handles with disinfectant.
