I had the worst gynecologist ever. (Dr Groeneweg) She was doing nothing right, from surgery to medicines. I went to Erasmus as a second opionon and only then discovered how bad and retarded my doctor is in the IJsselland. Please people never go here. Those doctors there make you much sicker. I speak from experience.

Been sick at home since November 7. Referred to the IJsseland hospital on 14 December. Received a letter on December 22 that I am expected on March 31, 2021. This can not be. And that in the Netherlands. Unbelievable. I can't sleep because of the pain. The doctor is not allowed to take painkillers, but I did this last night. Am desperate.

`I think the Ijsselland hospital is a pleasant hospital and I have been coming there for years, unfortunately I have bad experience with doctor van der berg 18-10-2017, department of dermatology.
I came for complaints for my armpit ... and I had to wait in a room for doctor from the mountain. The doctor (van den berg) then entered. she introduced herself and asked what my complaints were .. immediately afterwards she indicated that I am very fat. Not just fat but very thick. she kept repeating that I was really overweight and in a very blunt rude way. I sat there in disbelief and was actually very hurt. I also said thank you then and she then indicated that she is a doctor and so she should just tell it like that because it is not good for my health. I then told her my story and she just spoke through it and actually didn't listen. FIRST OF ALL I find it absolutely ridiculous that she can treat patients so disrespectfully. It is really nothing I have never experienced or wish for another. Something really should be done about this. I never hope to meet such a person again.

Can we also send an invoice if the doctor is more than 30 minutes late? If you are late yourself you immediately receive an invoice ...

Tomorrow it will be six years since I was operated by Dr. Fontijne in the IJsselland hospital and I got my first whole knee prosthesis. In a month it will be five years since I received my second full knee prosthesis, which was then also performed by Dr. Fontijne has undergone surgery. Gosh, how scared I was of the operation ..... but how well did they do it! The care provided by the brothers after the operation is also worth a compliment.
I count my blessings! Thanks to these two knee prostheses I can function well again and I am rid of those terrible joint pains.

My 92-year-old mother had to take a blood sample and also give a urine sample. That happened in the toilet in the test room. Toilet smelled like pee, there was only a previously used bowl to collect urine for women. I hereby suggest that you make paper cups available and that the toilets should be checked and disinfected more often.

Yes nothing more than praise to the people who work here. Neatly received and even at the most oppressive moments they know how to reassure you. Top.

Department of cardiology, unable to make 2x appointments because their system is not yet open ???
As a result, I missed my aftercare after hearing in October that I have arteriosclerosis. If I had to come back in January for an ultrasound and the necessary check-ups, I would receive an automatic invitation that I had never received until I returned to the cardiologist in March and asked why I had not been !! Again after the conversation I have to come back in June and make the missed echo right away, it was said again, they will send an invitation in April.
You guessed it again had not called, only got an irritated lady on the phone, (the same lady at the desk !!)
who only claimed that it was up to the system and whether I now have complaints to my heart and otherwise call the emergency line? !! I was helped again yesterday, everything went well, staff was very friendly, helpful and neat. Information can be better!

I am really shocked by some reviews here, we really don't have that experience! I went there with my wife / girlfriend at the dental surgery clinic (came there via vgz) From the info desk to registering we were kindly helped. When we arrived at the police station, the girls behind the desk were very nice and especially sweet to my girlfriend. She suffers from an anxiety disorder and that was really taken into account. Dr. Roos too, what a wonderful sweet calm knowledgeable man. Reason for us to do the follow-up treatments with confidence!

Yesterday night on the advice of the ambulance staff we had to go to the GP if the complaints were not gone in an hour because they had informed HAP by telephone where we were standing by, so to speak, but when we got there we were told by the female GP without manners that we should have called first while my wife had difficulty breathing and was in very bad pain. Unfortunately she only had to enter because of corona and I had to hear afterwards how she was treated otherwise it would certainly have gone differently. She raised her voice and shouted that she had to go to room 3 and walk faster while my wife was in pain. once inside the room, she raised her voice again, saying that she shouldn't just come on her own. Those are just a few examples.

if I could give a zero for this experience I would have. never again for me and will also immediately file a complaint.

What a BAD pharmacy.

Still NOT worth 1 star

Saturday around 11.30 am at this pharmacy what a misery I have had to wait more than 45 minutes before it was my turn that is of course too crazy for words. And what appears to be what I need DARO tebletten sorry madam NOT in stock and these are ONLY available at a pharmacy.
Even worse, people were discharged from the hospital and had to pay an extra 35 euros for their medication because the weekend was crazy for words. In France you can go to the pharmacist on Saturdays and you will NOT incur any extra costs. YES indeed the worry is falling back fast in this country

Mediocre. Have wisdom teeth extracted twice. First time went great. Ready in 5 minutes and not a dime. The next time ... practice. Chopping, breaking, sawing. Zo vermoeiend is dit ziekenhuis qua administratie. Vandaag afspraak - initieel om 9 uur, daarna telefonisch door hun verschoven naar 9:30. Ik ben om 9:21 aanwezig, check in, en loop door naar de afdeling waar ik mij opnieuw aanmeld. Mag ik blijven zitten tot ruim na 10 uur, volgens de dokter omdat ik net aangemeld ben.
Nu ook al een aantal keren gehad dat ik een onderzoek buiten het ziekenhuis moet doen - bij Erasmus MC bijvoorbeeld, en dat het onderzoek volledig niet opgevolgd wordt. Wanneer ik de afdeling bel om een afspraak te maken, mij wordt verteld dat dit via de huisarts moet (!). Soort van pingpong - natuurlijk helemaal klaar mee.

Let the wisdom tooth pull. Preference went to Maasstad but the waiting time was too long. So went to IJsselland. Operation in itself was not to fault, but the aftercare was really substandard. Apart from a brochure, I was not given any information and also received no syringe and pain killers in whatever form. I myself searched the internet for how to treat the wound, causing it to become inflamed and I now have to go back.

MDL department too dirty for words. You have to clean the toilet every hour and the beds every day, instead of twice a week.

Been there several times for research and everything went fine and once a week in MDL and no further complaints, only the MDL department is a tough department because people here are often told that they have cancer and are in their final phase of life. to be.

The department looks dirty, dingy and outdated, there was no toilet paper in the delivery room, when we asked for this, this could not be caught because the toilet paper was under lock and key and the nurses have no key to it (was night ) ridiculous of course, also the soap and disinfectant gel was used up and not replenished.
It was not crowded in the department, I walked past the nurses' room several times and each time there were at least 5 ladies drinking tea and chatting, there were also many rooms empty.
After the birth, the baby spent hours on our lap because there was no bed in the room, he had to look for maternity care for us in the department. I think these things are a bad thing, there is a lot of money declared with our insurance, then I can expect that things are also in order in a delivery room. There was a moment during the delivery that my daughter was angry and asked for pain medication, this was only possible if the child had been monitored for half an hour, she had to be connected to a monitor for this, during this procedure My daughter had to stay for a day because she continued to feel dizzy and fainted, it was clearly indicated that she should not stand up alone, and that she should call when visiting the toilet or the like.
From the moment nursing took over, we had the feeling that she wanted us away as soon as possible. The atmosphere was not particularly festive, visitors were actually not welcome and for the rest there was not much looked after for my daughter.The next morning someone came into the room saying she had to take a shower and quickly left the room ... .... A bit strange when it has been said to you that you absolutely cannot stand up alone!
Therefore, no more ice cream delivery for us, a DUMPER at the party joy.

Unfortunately I have to rate this with the lowest rating. After having had a cortisone injection twice in my right hip at the doctor because of a lot of pain I went to the IJsselland at the end of August for an X-ray. Family doctor visited again in September after photo. Feedback to general practitioner: no special deviation or wear detected by the radiologist. Read this feedback yourself.
Indicated that this was impossible and asked for a consultation with the orthopedist Dr. from Noord-Suydendorp in the Ijsselland. After another photo, the diagnosis of this very friendly, thorough and skilled doctor was very clear. My first and last BIG operation in the IJsselland. Am an experienced Ear patient so know the policy and protocol. A blunder was already made during the conversation with the anesthetist. I have latex allergy which means OK room must be latex free. This was repeated several times during the interview, but the anesthetist had too much fun with his student. Resulted that one week before the operation my treatment might be canceled while I have been waiting for 3 months because the data was not correctly in the system. Fortunately, other patients were moved and it was still possible to continue. The day of arrival my file was checked again for any allergies. Madam looked confused about the day I mentioned latex because it was not listed with her. Serious? In and around the OR I saw ladies with many layers of make-up and extremely chewing on gum, which made me very surprised. IJSSELLAND is not a club it is a hospital what happened to the strict hygiene policy?

After the operation, I was taken out of my anesthesia in no time by some tapping on my face. I could hardly spell my last name so dull, I never have this otherwise. The physician Dr. Paping came 2 minutes after. Lady, how are you feeling? (too tired to be able to answer it all went way too inhuman and fast) I have a congress next week so let's see how we are going to do that with your control and he left again out of nowhere. An ice cream was pushed into my hand and I just had to save it! 10 minutes later I was taken from the recovery room by 2 girls who would take me to the ward. The young, clumsy girl who walked behind my bed lost control of the bed far too often, causing me to be rammed into walls, doors and elevator doors countless times. I was parked in the hall because room was not ready.

My partner is called to say that I was in ward B. He accelerates to the hospital and arrives at B. He pronounces my last name carefully and asks which room he should be. Staff present don't recognize my name and say I'm not on B. You have to go to Wing C there she will be. Strange? Because just on the phone it was clearly said B he repeats. They didn't want to hear about this and he had to go to C. Long story short, it took him 30 minutes IN the hospital to get to his girlfriend. How scandalous is that?
The ward where I was was with people with stoma. Stomas were changed in the room, causing a huge stench. I had to ask my partner to open both windows quickly because that stench never goes away. Poo was collected in bottles in our toilet without caps and stayed there for a while.

Day itself, even the day after I did not see an ENT doctor who explains to me what exactly was done. What to do, etc. Winny immediately contacted the assistant and she knew nothing about the operation or follow-up before I would go home again. Fortunately they were able to get me in on Wednesday morning to see the doctor. The conversation itself had little addition. Things were repeated that I have known for 31 years. He was not able to discuss the substance of the operation itself that day. I find this so special and at the same time incredibly unlikable. Whether you're busy or not, the people who put their trust in you deserve your full attention, no matter what the cost.

The nurse especially the younger girl was a drama. Every trolley with towels that had to go into the closet was pushed against your bed. If you are there dying in pain, you also have one walking in the ward.

Winny deserves a big thumb. That woman, nurse, did everything she could to be there for the patient! If only there were more like her.

And expert? Before this I worked for years at Dijkzigt / Erasmus MC, which is really an academic hospital. Always in a hurry. No great hospital. (Why not 5 stars? That would mean perfection. And perfection doesn't exist)

In the precursor of IJsselland (Eudokia in Rotterdam) my father was treated by neurologist Geerling and he received medication that made the viscosity of his blood so that it looked like syrup due to a stroke.
They failed to inform us and after an infarction or stroke, the 3 days thereafter are critical. The second day became a descendant at home with us, who was then 14 years old; called that my mother had died. I panic from work and after hours my mother just came into our house.

Pfff !! Poor facilities for people waiting for family to be operated on.
We have been waiting for our mother since 10 am. No decent coffee machines and getting food is very expensive. The communication is also very bad. Around 10 am she was done with surgery, we would be kept informed, because you are very busy. Around noon we went to the department where it would be located. We were told by a derogatory hat that we just had to wait. At 10 to 2, to be precise, we were finally called that she is in the recovery room. Had that not been possible before? Around half past three she finally came back. We have been in tension for far too long for such a fierce operation. Then she also came to a department that was not agreed.

Nursing is top notch. communication and between doctor and patient unfortunately leaves much to be desired. much unclear.

Not to blacken a hospital. And there are plenty of things that go well. But just too many crucial points make you fall. And with that I think there should be a warning where people are going. For example of missteps that I have experienced in my area are: people with wrong or without correct instructions sent home after a pelvic fracture. And in addition without any help after the official discharge of the patient. Incorrect diagnoses. Sending home patients who should not have been sent home. Give incorrect or no medication. Perform treatments that are not optimal for the patient. Actually a whole laundry list. It seems like a global list, but really I have seen and experienced it all. Really special. If I break my toe and they can't do anything with it, let me go somewhere else.

So far my experiences. Again I broke a hand once and they neatly patched it up. But next time if it can still just drive a little further if time permits.

Doctors in this hospital are resistent to antibiotics as it is a Dutch medical tradition...but especially in this hospital. Apart from that, an actual treatment is ok but of course there is a dosage of pompousness and pretentiousness expressed by the doctors when they address you and then followed by something they consider to be a "humor".
The worst thing are the receptionists...for instnace I had a case when I approached the desk and lady was completely mute. I don't know if she is aware of her condition but she really has trouble with speaking as I stood in front of her counter for more than a minute and she didn't greet me, ask me for my case...nothing at all. She was just playing on her computer and didn't actually make an eye contact in spite the fact that my number was displayed.
Bad things aside, I have to give praises to nursing staff as all of them are pleasent, communicative and willing to provide as much as service as they can. Would've given nursing staff 5 stars.

Admitted after surgery. Allergic Reactions from Nsaid's and Morphine. Paracetamol alone is too little. The only medication I can take is not given to me because they have too little in stock, according to the gynecologist, because it is intended for patients in the OR. So in other words, patients with allergic reactions to certain drugs are just out of luck

Recently recorded. First cardiac monitoring, then cardiology nursing department. Friendly staff. Cardiologist takes all the time to answer your questions, after checking is also perfectly arranged.

My mother recently had surgery on a new knee. Everything went great until it turned out that she had a pulmonary embolism .. That was just really bad luck that nobody could do anything about. The adequate acting, and the incredible loving and cordial care of doctors and nursing, made us a very pleasant experience. Nothing was too much. Everyone took the time for her, they were very honest, transparent and decisive. Moreover, incredibly nice. My mother thought the food was excellent and she felt very safe and at ease. In short, I can only say that it was a very nice experience. With big thanks to the nursing staff and the doctors of department D2 middle.

Tig time almost dead. Just sent away at the seh and doctor's post. Not taken seriously. They refused help. Side effects and wrong combination medications about it are seen about it. With all its consequences.

I have been in foal hospitals but never as bad as here it is dirty unhygienic old-fashioned and they promise anything but do nothing it is a disorderly mess together and that must be the good department where I lay mdl then I am curious how those other departments are. it was for me the 4 toughest days ever in a hospital if I could give a minus I had done it

At the emergency room not taken seriously and almost dismissed with the remark 'sir looks great for his age'.
