IGGYS DINER Review

Long wait to order and to receive order, watched my food sit on counter under warmer for 30 min before it was added to the rest of my familys order and brought over to the table, will never be back.

The food was small portions, the quarter pounder was absolutely not a quarter pound more bread than burger waitresses were standing arround eating while customers were consistently asking for mustard,coffee refills

fried mushrooms mushroom burger and chubby cheese burger was so good..Waitress was a sweet girl, very nice and very quick..Will go again..yummy.

I don't get to Carthage very often but I had to make a trip there this past Saturday evening. I discovered quite the little gem of a diner. This was my 1st visit to Iggy's diner but it will definitely not be my last. It's kind of small but More

Small local diner in Carthage with mostly burgers and sandwiches. The food was fine, nothing exceptional. The service was again adequate but not fantastic. Overall this is a decent place to eat, but nothing to get excited about. I probably won't be back.

Slow. Took 40 minutes and we still didn't have breakfast. So left.

The breakfast food is good and priced fairly and the waitresses are very good at their job with just the right amount of sass

Waitresses we're very loud. Not impressed. You might want to have a dress code as their shorts were very short.

The diner gets 4 stars for just being a quaint 50's style diner along Old Route 66. Breakfast was just average (3 stars). Overall experience, 3 stars. Been there, had the experience, no need to do it again.

We ate here while on vacation. The food was just ok. The service was ok. We were really surprised that they didn't serve breakfast all day. I kind of thought that was always something diners like this did. It wasn't bad, just wasn't great either.

Just had a roach go across our table. Very disgusting and we were just told they use the best for bug removal

Don't care for their breakfast, but it changes when their help changes

We enjoyed our dinner at Iggy's. I had the steak burger with the onions and mushrooms on the side - excellent! My husband liked the tenderloin sandwich. As we were leaving someone ordered the Spaghetti Red. It looked real good. We're going to try that next time. We'll be back Iggy!

The food is top notch. The waitress we had was not even worthy of a real tip. The cherry limeade was one of the best we have ever had. The burger was perfectly seasoned. Wife got the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was huge and delicious. Their fries and onion rings take you back to a time when food was real and diners like this one fueled the passions of American youth. So glad to "get my chubby" @ Iggy's Diner, if our waitress had only been on the same pursuit of perfection the kitchen staff is on, I would have given Iggy's 5 stars.

Great Breakfast. Very fast service and the food was all very good.

Food was so good but a smile from the waitress and kindness would have caused a higher rating.

GOOD FOOD, good prices, great service.
Burgers are legit, fries are too.
You can spend about the same money here as at Wendy s, and be a whole lot more filled up! ( And get a real burger )
I eat here a lot, and am always stuffed when I leave.

I was there and I tried to get a milkshake without the milk. And they told me that you can't have a milkshake without the milk. So I said. I'll take a shake then. And they blew up and told my I had a little white wienie and the chef kicked me out. 3/5 lol

A real diner serves breakfast all day. Here, breakfast is done at 10:30. Ordered a BLT since I couldn't get breakfast, sandwich bread was toasted, but it was soft/limp. Thin tasteless slices of bacon, lots of lettuce and not much on the tomatoes. Sandwich really had no flavor. Tater tots were not crispy. Pretty disappointing over all.

Everything is frozen or out of a can, went for breakfast and they didn't have the heat on so it was freezing. The waitresses were arguing loudly and the food just isn't good.

Very attentive staff and great food. My wife and I stopped in looking for a good burger, and we loved what we found.

Loved our lunch! Philly cheesesteak! Good amount of food for the price. The waitress did good with our large group.

Food was good service is horrible! All the waitresses were to busy standing around talking. Came to my table to bring my food never came back to ask for refills or if I needed a to go box. Plus some of their talk I thought was a little inappropriate for a restaurant. For sure dont feel like a family restaurant like it used to. Sad...won't be back or wouldn't recommend to anyone!!

Foods good . Service we had was also good . Cleaning of the bathroom much needed .

The service was good other than one girl. Her name was Emily. My friend said that he had a sweet tea and she said hatefully "well some of the drinks are over there so just wait." There were also other multiple times she was hateful.

It was good pretty consistent with this type of restaurant. Most of us ordered Burgers and they were good, LOTS of mustard. I mean like coming out the sides with every bite (little much for my taste). My husband had the chicken Nacho platter, it was good, tasted a lot like something something you would whip,up in your home chicken with left over chicken breast, just not what I was expecting. The retro feel was cute, the dining area was clean, the bathrooms not so much.

Very much a regular/carthageinian place. Girls with tats who ignored us the entire time and our son who kept waving and talking to her. There are a few good waitresses though.

Server was rude she threw our straws plates on the table didn't know how the sandwich was made the manager didnt know the difference between Texas toast and regular toast and wanted to argue instead of trying to make the customer happy

Always great food! Always excellent service with a smile. Cant say enough good things about IGGYS!!

Fries supper soggy and greasy. But the burgers are good.

Huge portions! The hambuger steak was delicious, and the servers were attentive and friendly.

This place is so dirty, its insane. Dusty/greasy air vents, old crusty wallpaper, and fly traps covered in flys hanging from the ceiling. Iggys is overdue for a good cleaning.

Great Eats. Always love their food. Got really full today. Got my Chubby on Route 66....
