Ida Lee Review

Such a nice quiet relaxing place to ride a bike, walk/run and 2 swimming complexes! Lots of grass area for and old fashion picnic!

Ida Lee is great! We mostly go for kids sports and swimming classes, and have had a consistently fantastic experience with staff, facilities, coaches/teachers, etc. Price for classes can't be beat. Fireworks shows have been excellent and well organized as well. We'd likely be members if we lived closer; from what we've seen, fitness center is surprisingly well equipped for a rec center gym, and of course the basketball, swimming, and tennis facilities are better than elsewhere.

The natural grass flag football field is immaculate

Daughter is a lifeguard there and the facility is fantastic.

Longtime members. Beautiful well-kept facility with friendly staff members and a variety of class options. Pool and hot tub are in fantastic condition as well!

Beautiful park in the north of the town of Leesburg. Even if you don't use all the amenities like the aquatic center, gym, water park, or tennis courts, there's still acres on acres of open space to wander or play with a dog. There's also a decent trail that goes around the entire park. Highly recommend the annual fireworks show every 4th of July.

Beautiful grounds and excellent facility but expensive even for residents. They often schedule swim classes and cordon off a large section of pool limiting your ability to swim dispite the entry fee.

Wonderful park. It is like being on a farm near downtown Leesburg.

Great water park. Not too crowded. Plenty of Lifegaurds. Great for all ages!!!

One of the best gyms/pools around. They have several basketball courts, racket ball courts, 2 pools both indoor and outdoor and the facility is well kept and generally speaking inexpensive. For the features it offers the price is exceptionally reasonable. One of my favorite places to visit. I almost don't want to post this because I think of it as a hidden gem as when I've gone it hasn't been over crowded. They have spray bleach to help fight covid and clean the equipment. The staff is pleasant. They also have various classes.

"The Library Playground" this is a nice playground for all ages. It is usually not too crowded and the parents are usually involved and not letting the kids run unsupervised. It could use more swings.

So lucky to have this clean, reasonably priced facility in our town. The fitness center, pools, library, tennis courts, and the park itself are top notch. Look for the "secret" grounds behind the tennis bubble - there's a beautiful area with an amazing vista for picnics and hikes and rarely anyone using it!

This place is absolutely beautiful. Amazing open areas, for football, or outdoor events. The inside has amazing home made craft events, and the gym is great.

My brother's wedding and reception were held here and the site was lovely. The gazebo made for a beautiful ceremony backdrop and the reception hall was perfect for his needs.

Very nice regional park with soccer fields, tennis, pool (indoor and out) as well as large open fields and walking trails. Only downside on a hot summer day is little shade on the walking trail so Bring a hat!

Great place for the kids, there website is not accurate at all times, be sure to call before going.

Good place to exercise. However I went to a craft show their which is always nice. They have it every December.

A beautiful location and many options for activities.

We were there for a swim meet. The pool deck was very small with very limited seating. Air quality was ok, but temperature was very warm.

This is the perfect community park I have seen, the Jim Burnett park in Winchester comes close, but has a much smaller community center and no library. Not to mention lack of indoor pool.:)

Great outdoor playgrounds
for young kids. Also a water park and indoor pool.

Love Ida Lee Park. Lots of open space with a great indoor activities to include a pool, toddler/senior pool, outdoor tennis courts (enclosed in winter), outdoor pool/water park (operated separately I believe), indoor basketball and gym.

Everything about Ida Lee is stellar...the staff, the facility, the classes.

I liked this place because of the activities and basketball and exercising! Also the pool was especially fun! I went here at the end of middle school for an eighth grade party and spent time with friends and acquaintances!

Large exercise facility with plenty of options. Cardio equipment, free weights, weight machines, racquetball courts, pools, etc etc. They do single day passes for those traveling through and need a place to work out.

Great programs! We have used the indoor pool and taken swim lessons for the kids. We have taken the family to the outdoor water park. We have also used the tennis facilities.

My kids love the indoor and outdoor pool at Ida Lee. Nice staff. Cool afterpool hangout area with wifi so they can play games on their tablets. Nicely maintained all year long.

Very clean. Lots of equipment. They have basketball courts and s couple of racquetball courts. An indoor pool is available. Next door is an aquatic center. Non-Leesburg residents can get a day pass for just $7.50. Staff is friendly. Classes are offered in various disciplines, too.

For all you dog lovers. Mark your calendar for next year. The weekend after the pool closes for summer, before they drain and cover, they have a Saturday swim for dogs. AMAZING time was had by all

Rude people when weight lifting. Facility lacks proper area for free weights.

This place could be amazing! My friend and I called because we wanted to go for an evening swim. Yes they were open. We got there. Paid 14 bucks for us both. We saw 3 huge pools and were stoked! We walked into one pool room and got in before we were told this pool is closed for swimming lessons and the other pools were around the corner. We went into that room. 2 huge pools and a hot tub. Perfect. One pool was a wading pool. Meh, but great for kids. The other pool had lanes.....only a few minutes after entering, the aerobics class arrived, so we couldn't swim.....this literally left us only the hot tub. Which, I admit, was great.....but kinda defeated the purpose of my going swimming.

Ruined it for me.....

Great playground and walking park. Never used it but a covered pavilion is available for parties.

Have not visited the rec center, but have been to the amazing outdoor pool with a lazy river, great kids space with slide, zero depth entry. Etc. Gets crowded and great fun for low entry fee. Nice open grew spaces at the park ND nice play ground. Good walking trails.

One of the best places to take the kids! A little bit of everything here.

I'm sure under normal circumstances it's very good, this time the 4th of July celebration and fireworks were rained out. Still, well run and we were able to evacuate by professional police and others. We plan to try again next year.

The custodians need to be commended for keeping the place so clean. They have a small staff and a big building.

It's a beautiful park to get lost on purpose just to find peace and although impossible to get lost, the potomac waters are particularly visibly stunning to walk by...

IDA LEE Rocks!! AWESOME classes, instructors, weight room equipment, pools! I don't know why anyone would go anywhere else!!

A modern and clean facility. I like all the options they have (weight lifting, treadmill, swimming pool, hot tub, etc.) and the helpful staff. You do need to mind the time when you go because it can get crowded.

They have everything here. Maker space at library is cool too

Great exercise equipment. Perfect for beginners and the more advanced. Perfect environment for the family.
