Ida Lee Review

Everything seems to be handicapped accessible. Great park. The library is awesome and so is the recreation center itself. Indoor pool, indoor basketball and racquet ball courts. Now the outdoor pool is open too! Lots to do!

I love the place, I just wish I could get out to it more often.

Great tennis facilities. There are 4 indoor courts and plenty of outdoor courts. It is clean and staff is friendly.

When I lived in Leesburg that was a great place to go work out and play in the pool. Since we've moved, they've made great improvements however I think the signage could use a little more work.
I had gone there earlier this week for a play date at their play grounds so I followed the sign to go left to the play ground after coming into the park. I had to play the turn around and drive up and down the parking lot to find the play ground game as there were no other signs telling me where to go for the buildings OR play grounds. I finally found it but was so annoyed at the lack of signage I went to another play ground.
They have two play grounds and it would have been nice to see a sign for both. The second one has no signs indicating where it is (which is to the right as you get up to the buildings and around the back of the recreation center, to the left before you follow the road to the aquatic center) but found that one a bit easier than the other one as it was closer to the parking lot and road.
I think if the signage was better I'd give this a better review.
I DO plan on going to the aquatic center one day after it opens to check it out with my son.
And I would go here again, now that I know where everything is it'll be less stressful.

Great huge indoor pool and large hot tub. Large gym area with 6 baskets. They also have a very large workout area. It is very well supervised. Kids and parents will enjoy!

Best place to take your kids for recreational activities. You can choose from aquatics, fitness, wellness, recreational, sports, tennis, arts and crafts, camps, and other things to do in addition to the Olympic pool and gym. Family friendly environment!

I had a great workout. I walked on the treadmill for 15 min and the played 4 games of basketball (fullcourt). Today was a good day

550 Acres , indoor and outdoor swimming , basketball, weight lifting, exercise classes, volleyball, racquetball.

I have a membership and its a great place to go with your friends and play some basketball

There quiet location and plenty of acreage make this a nice get away. I didn't use any of the facilities but it's popular with family's to take a walk. There are plenty of historical sites nearby.

Simple and effective. Show off at other gyms, but work out here.

It would be helpful if there was a map of where the event is located. The staff was helpful but she had difficulty explaining the location.

Lots of exercise options! Basketball courts, pool, Jacuzzi, heated pools, racquetball/squash courts, weight room, and I think rent-able rooms for events.

I've lived here all my life and Ida lee has been awesome. The playgrounds are the best for kids and the big open field is great for picnics and family fun. The gym and pool is a plus.

Great place. The outdoor food place takes too long to serve orders but everything else is great

Very well kept city park. I use it mostly for the community gardens made available by the town. Very nice walking path around the exterior boundary of the park.

Would be great if they added a frisbee golf course..

It was cool. I played basketball with my friend. They have really cheap vending machine snacks

People are very friendly, pool is clean, and other facilities are well maintained

The park and facilities were amazing. I wish I had a park like this in my area.

This is a great park. Gorgeous green space. Plenty of shade. Wheelchair accessible playground equipment- which is legitimately fun for everyone. A pavilion. Picnic tables. And, to top it all off, it's nearly always full of friendly people. Not crowded, but sociable.

My friend and I went to Ida Lee to use the hot tub because she goes to physical therapy and was told that would help. As soon as we were seated in the hot tub, a life guard approaches us saying that we have to leave because she was wearing shorts and a t-shirt (mind you, there were other's dressed the same). He said it was for hygiene reasons. We had been going all summer and only a few days prior as well, when everyone there had seen her wear these clothes before. We went up to the front desk and explained she would be in a swim suit if she could find one in her size. They proceeded to saying it was not allowed and gave us a refund with a number to call for complaints. The number given was to the same woman at the desk and not even to the man we were supposed to contact. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star.

Great facilities and beautiful grounds. Plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff.

I have been going to Ida Lee on a semi-regular basis for 17 years. This place has been a great part of my life, and is definitely a great part of Leesburg. The people are nice, the pool is clean, and the gym is up to date. My only complaint is the poor cell service, but their free wifi takes care of that!

Ida Lee Park has a number of options for membership. You can get a day pass, a block of days (they have a 25 pack) or you can get an annual membership. Family memberships offer a good value for your money, and if you look at your employer, they will frequently give you some money back for having a gym membership.

They have a weight and cardio room, two swimming pools (one has a walk in ramp for people with mobility challenges), they even have raquetball courts for those of us that still play. You can join classes, get in a pickup game of basketball, or just do your own thing.

Wi-Fi is available for those if us that like to catch up on their shows while on the treadmill. NetFlix and Amazon stream nicely on it.

Challenges: Bring your own drinks. The drink machines are problematic at best. They need to kick that vendor out of there.

Great facility. Almost like a country club, but of course no dinning. Basketball, racket ball, 25 yard in door pool. Lots of work out equipment. Out door water park in the summer. Meeting rooms and classes. All in a beautiful well maintained building. Nice Lacrosse and soccer fields.

Park, swimming pools, playgrounds, gym, space and public events...lots of things to love about this place!

I love Ida Lee, it's like going on vacation for me !

It is a very good park and there are so many activities for people of all ages. It is well-maintained and well-kept. Also has a big water entertainment area (I never could go there though) but it looks so apealing :)

Refer to Ida Lee as "ol reliable" cause I can always count on Ida Lee to have what I need. Whether it be the basketball court or the gym area

Beautiful landscape nearby library, perfect place for kids to read & play

Beautiful pool, my son and I had a great time on the climbing wall, and men's locker room was very clean. Excellent facility for workout and/or play with the kids.

Great rec center with most everything including indoor/outdoor tennis and pool in addition to all you would expect from a full service gym.

One of the best things in Leesburg, right next to Morven Park, another gem. Love it.

Pretty nice water park not far from Martinsburg. They have a couple pools, a lazy river, and water slides. Its clean and fairly inexpensive. Concession stand has a decent selection also....will definitely go again.

LOVE the lazy river. So much fun!! Clean facilities, good music, always have a nice time at the pool!

Whether you are going to the gym or have a day at the outside park. The outside park is clean and we'll designed, also recently remodeled! There is a library and gym with swimming pools. (Need a membership)

I love taking the kids here they always have a blast and the staff is very friendly, attentive of theur work and available to answear any questions you make have or anything you may need, their basquetball court its their faveorite besides the pool, they have a blast everytime!! They also have daycare if you want to relax in their Jacuzzi
