IBM Hursley Laboratories Review

Best IBM location in the uk. Make sure you visit the club house.

Really fantastic experience during vNext program in this IBM lab at Hursley.

This is one of my places of work. This site was a stately home and the older Hursley house is still in operation in conjunction with the more modern IBM lab buildings

Lovely area to walls around. Lots of walking paths and things to do. Only downside is that it is a 14 minutes ride away from Winchester.

Went to view the fireworks, brilliant display and nice family friendly environment

Lovely grounds with occasional events.
Clubhouse for members beside the cricket pitch.

Great hospitality by IBM at Hurley for the Blockchain conference

Innovation and design is the key element here, with a lovely manor house with surrounding gardens

With the Passion to be a part in IBM, i finished IBM i (AS/400) training, and waiting step in to my Goal.
I Love IBM very Much, it's the only environment which been as secure and even now it stands for it's Security. i want to be a part and learn and work for IBM.

Surprising bucolic tech center in woodsy Winchester. A bit isolated but that is a good thjng. Historic buildings, trees, fields.

Great to catch up with collogues in such an amazing space

Used to be great place to work but has been going downhill for quite a few years

Now a retiree, I spent happy 40 of 43 years in this idyllic park.

Great old mansion,with history and modern tech plus the ibm museum

Visited the Museum in the main house, if you are interested in the development of computers it's a great place to visit. The staff were very knowledgeable too.

A wonderful training center and the museum is better than I could have hoped for.

Nice scenery, plenty of pheasants. Would recommend.

The computer museum is definitely well worth a visit. Brought back many happy memories.

I live in Hursley and just great to be aloud to walk our dogs in there grounds.

Absolutely stunning grounds to work within. The best.

In the ground of and they use a 17th century house (Hursley House),this is one if the development labs for IBM in the UK. Lovely house and grounds for lunch time walk accommodate 4 other more modern office buildings and car parks for a couple of thousand employees. Not open to the general public however there are a few open days.

Went to visit to see what new technology they were working on, the guy we spoke to was very well informed

Attended an assessment centre. Staff where kind, friendly and not intimidating at all (surprisingly). The questions they asked made the interview seem like a conversation rather than an interrogation. Great building too.

While most of the IBM site is relatively typical office blocks the old manor house and grounds are the jewel in the crown of this site. The ground are great for a walk and feature a sunken garden hidden in the woodland. There are well maintained paths around the parkland for a lunch time stroll. For the more active there is an out for gym, tennis courts, cricket pitches and more. Hursley house never fails to impress and is rightfully shown on all the site publicity photos. The interior of the house has managed to retain many original features despite being modified for corporate use.

This is a nice and cozy IBM campus. It has a museum with nice historical computers.

I used to work here, clubhouse is members only but we've been going here for 50 years... And the people are great.

If your name isn t Barry, Susan, Molly, Polly, Sarah , Adam, Katherine or Henry Dinklebottom then you will most likely NOT get hired. And when they say they are looking for personality they actually want you to be as bland and as boring as a Nando s Toothpick due to the fact that everyone in the office must look and act the same as each other. And guess what......if they find out you re different THEN YOU ARE OUT!!!

The most excellent intellectually stimulating multicultural company hidden in the beautiful traditional leafy English countryside of Hursley, Hampshire ... BTW Marshan below must be nuts coz I worked there in the post millennium and had never worked with a more pleasant professional and positive brainy bunch! I really appreciated their continual support and health package whilst I sadly became disabled!

Beautiful location with an historic house. The on-site museum is a fascinating walk through history of the IBM technology innovations.

Many innovations were created on the site including things like Node-Red.

Apparently even the spitfire was designed in in the house.

Think of this place more like a college campus and you'll be in there right minded set. Beautiful grounds, plenty of history! Visit the museum if you don't beleive me :)
