Price quality good hotel (bit outdated) to be close to the beach of Scheveningen.

I stayed for three nights in a clean spacious family room with nice big balcony. The hotel is close to the beach and the staff is friendly and helpful. I did find the hotel room a bit noisy. You can literally hear what your neighbors say and do. The extraction system in the bathroom on the sixth floor makes a lot of noise. The hotel is certainly worth the three stars in terms of price.

Unsolicited the room was adjusted when it became known that my wife is dependent on a wheelchair.

203 euro for 4 people room. Balcony accesible. I recommend to park for night at Zwolsestraat 426, 2587 VK Den Haag, Netherlands. At 19,50 euro per 24 h

Room was pretty good and clean. A major disadvantage are the parking spaces and the waiting time until you can park and until you can enter your room. We requested twice via the internet to change the check-in time to 10 a.m. Then I had called and indicated the same. We arrive there at 10 a.m. We had to wait until noon for the parking spaces and wait until 2 hours for our room to be ready. The only advantage was that it is nice and close to the beach and close to the shops.

The staff is very friendly, but the ambience of the rooms reminds of the charm of the 60s / 70s. The breakfast was not exactly rich either. Much is packed in plastic and therefore not exactly environmentally friendly. Our room was also open one evening after cleaning. Anyone could have gone in. Since there was no closet in the room, theoretically everyone could have taken the packed luggage with them. And completely unnoticed. Because we were received very friendly and there was always an open ear for questions.

Great bed, hot shower and good breakfast. No longer needed after a concert.

Friendly staff. Location close to the beach. For a short break still okay, the standard rooms are not recommended! These are in the field of "outside stairs" are very noisy, really small and older. You could hear in our room permanently the ventilation system of the hotel through the door. Have preferred to upgrade. This room was fine in size and also had a balcony.
The breakfast, was very small and it was the same every day. I expect more for the price! So you can rather choose in the vicinity breakfast buffet, as in the hotel to eat.

The location is great too, very close to the beach.
You have to cross the street once and you're there.
Shops are also very close.

A fairly good hotel. Not too much fuss. Slept well on good beds. It all looked neat and clean.

Very loud, noisy hotel; Room doors close very noisily. Room without balcony; way too small; an imposition for 2 people. No fridge / kettle or coffee maker available. Bad mattress.
Parking lot situation miserable (30 / day). Windows not cleaned, otherwise cleanliness ok. The room price has no relation to the service. A star for breakfast and for being close to the beach.

I stayed in the penthouse. it's super big. 3 rooms in total. Can stay confortable with total of 6 people. nice view. The only thing to add is bigger TV :D the TV is too small for a penthouse.

Suitcases were stolen from a secure room and until TODAY nobody reported, even though the police came - it happened 2 days after New Year's Eve in New Year! PS: rooms are VERY old and dirty! Definitely not to be recommended!

Good hotel, large room with balcony on the back. narrow stairs for those who do not use the elevator. Salty / sweet breakfast buffet not particularly rich and completely self-service. parking space with pagamaneto (expensive but basically essential given the place)

We were generally satisfied, the rooms are simply furnished, but adequate. It would have been nice to have a minibar in the room or a small fridge, sockets on the bed were missing, but nothing essential. The location is just great, if you are not too sensitive to noise and if you take a room facing the front on the upper floors you also have a sea view.
Staff is super friendly and speaks German. Selection at the breakfast buffet also kept simple, but sufficient.
So satisfactory for a weekend trip.

Rooms are modest but adequate. Nice breakfast buffet. Air conditioning refeling in room. Only minus is the traffic noise in front. A plus here is a sea view.

Unfortunately does not correspond to the usual ibis standard that one is used to.
The hotel is showing its age and seems to have been neglected.
A couple of criticisms:
- No sockets on the beds
- No trash in the room (only in the bathroom)
- Clairaudient walls
- Mold and rust in the bathroom
- Average breakfast
- Access cards for the room always broken

The proximity to the beach and the spaciousness of the four-person room should be positively mentioned.

Great hotel for not that much money. Room was bit small but well cared for. Breakfast was good.

Everything O.K.Lift available, breakfast was good. Room and bathroom were always very clean. Balcony with ashtray. Room to the rear are quiet, front louder (main road)

Well received, friendly staff, room not too big but tidy, shower also very tidy, breakfast was good, plenty of choice, hotel within walking distance of the beach and shops.

It is a good hotel for a rather cheap stay in SCheveningen. The beach is not far and you can get everywhere by foot. The room and bathroom were ok. The only negative part is the provided bed for Baby's and little kids. Quite used, no good mattress. The breakfast was much better then I am used to at IBIS hotels, therefore we enjoyed it!

Functional location, located near everything. Friendly staff who speak several languages.

Dated in terms of rooms, very small and only for short stay. Television is disrupted and internet negligent. Noisy during the nights, you hear the doors of the other rooms slam shut.

A great pity that there is no coffee or tea making facility in the room! It's nice to be able to relax in your room with it.

Breakfast is also not exciting, price is not entirely in proportion. Get well topped up during the morning and well cleaned at the tables and the like.

Bathroom is neat and looks newer than the room. Too bad the tubes with all-in-1 soap my skin and hair can't stand. Small packaged soaps and the like would be nicer and also look a bit more luxurious.

Basically it was a nice stay but not an excellent stay. Are points for improvement, but I will not stay away from it. See you next time.

Stayed for business trip for 4 days. Good place with great connectivity and near to beach so evening stroll is also possible.

Nothing really special, but it met my needs as a nice clean bedroom with decent breakfast and an amazing view through the window.

We are only the 2nd night in the ibis Hotel Scheveningen and already have the 2nd room. This time without toenails and hair on the balcony, but with mold in the bathroom. The air conditioning systems seem to be only decorative here. Take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself. The staff is hard-working and friendly, but unfortunately doesn't change the miserable condition of the hotel for a very high price.

Goed en netjes. Komt overeen met zijn prijsklasse. Heel mooi op locatie. Duur parkeren voor gasten (12,50 en stond niet vermeld bij reservering) en een moeilijk te navigeren, kleine parkeerplaats.

The hotel has very friendly and helpful staff. Although it is right on the street you don't notice much.
The standard room is small and more of a storage room. We switched to a larger room for 10 per day.
Unfortunately the hotel is very noisy and you can understand every word from the next room. You can also hear it when people walk through the room one floor up. So not to be recommended for people looking for peace and quiet.
But on the whole we had a pleasant stay.

Good hotel, for what the hotels need to be .... Sleep and then go out to visit the city. The breakfast in some cases could be improved. That the bathroom does not have a bathtub and is only a shower tray did not seem very correct. And the lack of some basic products in the bathroom. But generally good.

Unfortunately, we have to agree with some of the previous reviews: the entire hotel is not clean. We already had to pinch our eyes in our room and, on the first two days, also pinch our noses ... There may always be problems with the sewer system or drains, on a main street I don't expect a quiet location but certain standards of cleanliness and hygiene should be expected are nevertheless adhered to.
The proximity to the beach and the mostly nice staff get the two stars out.

If it had been about price / performance, I would have only given one star. But since this varies greatly depending on the season, it has become 2.
