Ibis Hotel Amsterdam Airport Review

We had such an amazing time here!! The hotel's very cosy, feels like home and the staff are so lovely and helpful. The breakfast is really nice, with a variety of stuff... Their scrambled eggs are the best !! Perfect location, they have a microwave in the lobby for cold take outs!! I really look forward to staying there again and will be going back VERY SOON!!! Thank you Ibis Schiphol!!

16 sqm room, if you only want to stay overnight, is in good hands. There is a small store, souvenirs, almost check in and out, conference rooms, burgers, fine dining and a delicious breakfast buffet on the 4th floor with a beautiful view of Schiphol Airport.

Very near airport and is 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam bus services and also valid for the iAmsterdam card. (recommended)

You canceled my reservation without trying to connect me. I got there and i had no rooms for 7 people. I will not come back there.

Desk staff is very kind, room is clean and bathroom is clean, too. I especially liked the lounge type.

Extremely small rooms, mattresses far too soft, very poorly insulated and therefore noisy.

The rooms were big enough, the bed very comfortable. Despite the direct proximity to the airport it was quiet. Breakfast buffet was available from 4 o'clock, which gave us enough time to have breakfast before departure. Overall, the hotel has a pleasant atmosphere. There is also a free shuttle service to and from the airport.

The hotel is nice. It is a bit difficult to sleep because you can hear the sounds of people coming out with their bags at all hours. Besides that, the room is comfortable and spacious.

I like this hotel. Perfect for a quick stop in Amsterdam. Great staff. Clean. Warm.

Very well connected. Fair price. Friendly staff, free tea and coffee. In house shop offers snacks and drinks at astronomical prices. Hint, there's a little supermarket at the airport. Expensive as well but not even half as insane as the ibis shop. Free bus transfer to and from airport. The bus can be very crowded.

The hotel is very nice. the room are comfortable, we were at the hotel for 1 week we were not satisfied from the cleanliness, They did not clean the floor during the week, even after we asked to clean the floor.
We also expected to have a new clean sheets at least once during the week.

Besides, it was very nice to stay at the hotel and the service was very good.

We were given a dirty room with dirt all over the bed. The Bathroom had hair on the floor. There was no proper air circulating and the room was stuffy and smell of mold. We complained and the Agent at the reception told us that our concerns were not enough for him to take any action. However Frank was able to move us to a better room. He treated us well, and for that we were grateful.

Very easy and quick check-in. Only about 5 min at airport. Good beds, i sleep like a baby.

Small rooms, furniture worn, only 1 towel per person and beds quite worn out. OK for 1 night but next time it will be another hotel!

Too expensive, far from the center, near the port airport, so you can hear planes landing and taking off during the night. Very welcoming reception. Abundant breakfast.

We have booked a park, sleep and fly package via the website, which advertises the package. Free parking for 11 days? No so. Upon arrival a further 120.00 must be paid in addition to the 130.00 for sleeping. Never again. Wrong and false information. P.Jansen

Budget Hotel with very nice location.They provide the shuttle service from Airport. They have their own Restaurant, bars, grocery store, play room and etc. The staff is very friendly.

You blocked the money for the first night of accommodation because of late check-in and although I specifically asked desk clerk to unblock the amount TWICE, they simply forgot to do it. It's been a week now and they still didn't do it. If you block automatically the amount for the first night why don't you do automatically the unblocking? Try being in my shoes and start your holiday with some money u can't use because an employee don't give a damn about your customers.

Clean and basic room. Plus the price ( 55) and the location. Minus: only two small towels, communicating doors between the rooms (which do not close properly) and a huge but full paying parking lot.

The windows of 2 cars of our company were broken during our stay. The onboard computer ripped off. This damage was caused on several nights. At least four other cars in the car park suffered the same type of damage.

My favorite Hotel outside Amsterdam bur very easy to go with airport train to Amsterdam, also Much Cheaper than Amsterdam Hotels! Ted.

i left my phone at your hotel and a week and a half later i'm still waiting for the phone to come back to me. It's one email a day, if I'm lucky, in correspondence to try and get my phone back! Not acceptable!

Great hotel for travelers in transit. There is a free shuttle bus to and from Schiphol. The rooms are good and the whole looks neat. I think the breakfast could be better. It is certainly not bad but for this price I have seen better in the competition, certainly in terms of choice.

Clean and practical with a shuttle service to the airport (~10 min)

Had a pleasant stay, it's the usual Ibis quality. The bar was pleasant and breakfast was good to. Even while being close to the airport, couldn't hear planes. Public transport is easily reached from the hotel and there's also plenty of parking space. Overall a pleasant stay!

Very nice staff. Pleased with the shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Runs until one in the morning. There is a bus stop near the hotel, buses often run to the center. The room is quiet, there are rabbits running around. The only thing that upset was the noise of the extractor hood in the bathroom. We couldn't turn it off. She worked all night.

Come there as a bus driver and is well organized. Own place and tidy out again. Enough space.

Terribly disappointed that the staff do not speak French. Not even thanks nor goodbye, words known around the world. This same staff who comes to tan in France or who crosses to go to Spain. It is contempt with a smile of facade while they are employed by a French group. What will the founders of the group who began their careers in our provincial towns think?

I like it, excellent service, good food quality. Good option if the flight is lost.

Great room simple bathroom no coffee or tea machine in the room

Comfortable and clean room, the bathroom left something to be desired. Usually in very good condition, but dirty, we even found pubic hair in the toilet.
Very comfortable and useful the free bus to the airport, although very busy. The take away service works throughout the night, something very positive for those of us who land in the city so late.
The buffet breakfast quite good, although for my taste with very little variety for the price ( 17)
In general, I would repeat the experience, always keeping in mind that it is a passing hotel.

Check in was fast and easy at this airport hotel. The shuttle at the airport was really packed but I believe it was due to a flight delay leading to an influx of overnight guests. Check out was a breeze because all you have to do is throw your room key card into a bin by the front desk.

Great room for after or before a flight, breakfast is way too expensive for what you get.

Typical Giant Ibis, they are not worried about the least to not speak Spanish. I prefer the Ibis in Spain, removing the Seville one of course.

Great room for a short sleep before a flying holiday. Not very special and apart from the hairs in the shower and the stains on the shower mat, fine.

The hotel, the rooms and the breakfast buffet were great!

Very good, except the cleaning of the room, the floor was with grit the three days we were, it is as if the floor was not cleaned ... otherwise the treatment and the restaurant of the second floor phenomenal ..
The parking was a bit expensive because we rented a car and every time we entered or left we had to pay, apart from the 17.50 (I think it should be 17.50 per day although you enter and leave 20 times.

Clean room and toilet, friendly staff, free shuttle to the airport. Lived on the first floor overlooking the parking lot. 18 euros per person for breakfast decided not to pay, since there is a McDonald s good.
3 minutes walk to a large bus station, go to the subway somewhere in 20 minutes.

Very convenient hotel near Schipol airport! Little bit away but that is a plus point since you do not hear the noise of the planes. They run regular shuttles to-from the airport.

A lovely hotel for those that plan to stay in its surroundings, and don't want to go to amsterdam itself.

Getting to the hotel from the nearby Schiphol airport is extremly easy, just wait for the (free) shuttle bus that will take you right to its doorsteps.

The hotel itself sports a bar and a diner, as well as (oddly) a tourist shop (that one was a surprise, never seen it anywhere else)

As for the rooms, it was rather small but cozy, with a tv, a wardrobe, digital safe and a separate bathroom.

What left a smile on my face was the staff, as we arrived in two groups, each taking a single room, and the reception clerk made it so that our rooms were not only right next to each other, but were also connected by a set of lockable doors that, when opened, allowed us to go to and fro each room, thank you for that!

As for the surroundings... Don't expect much. There is, however, a mcdonnalds right around the corner, and a bus station from which you can get to the city itself.

Only thing I can criticize about the hotel are its food and drink prices, so, overall, 8/10

Loved the structure of the hotel. Everyone at the hotel are very friendly, polite and helpful. There is a free transfer from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. It has a table with all the schedules. Excellent breakfast! Breads, cold meats, fruits, yogurts, juices, coffees and teas. The rooms are big and comfortable. Bathroom with shower and hot water. Note 10 for Ibis Schipol Airport.

In summary everything excellent. They offer free shuttle bus service to the airport.

The staff is pleasant, the room is clean and comfortable; I only wish there was a microwave and mini-fridge in the room.

They have me an iron that was defective, and it melted my shirt immediately after touching it. They apologized and offered to buy another shirt.

Highly recommended. (Just don't iron any clothes).

Rooms can be a little old hat and plain, but the restaurant and other facilities are very good value.

No matter the size, there is always only one trash can in the toilet. It is very troublesome; the bathroom is semi-open, the shower water is easy to splash and the floor is damp and uncomfortable; the carpet feels a bit old, giving a clean impression; the room has no kettle ,unfortunately!

Decent airport with bare minimum facilities. Best for overnight and transit passengers. They provide free airport shuttle services with good frequency which is great. Rooms are small but get the job done. Don't expect toiletries.

KLM stranded us at Schiphol so we ended up spending the night here. No complaints...room was clean and relatively comfortable. It's a very big hotel so they have pretty good facilities, including restaurants, store, gym....the breakfast was excellent.

The straight line to the airport is so close that you can hear a lot of airplanes. When you arrive at the airport by free shuttle, you can go to the city from the airport. The staff are very friendly, but be careful because the space is so expensive to buy simple necessities in the building.

I am not so pleased with the price that I had to pay for a stay from 22.00 hrs to 5.00 hrs the following morning ( 168). I am a frequent guest of the hotel, also in low times and then pay between 70 and 80 . Loyal customers should be punished if they book in high times. You follow th emoney (best price) and not loyal customers. I will not book at Ibis Schiphol again, also not in low times. There are better alternatives.

The hotel is ok for the price, nothing fancy. The transportation to and from the airport is like a herd of animals trying to get on the bus before everyone else does. The hotel bus covers a total of 3 hotels so the bus is jam pack most of the time. The bus runs every 20-30 min from airport to hotels. Riding the airport bus is a nightmare. The staff is ok too, not the most friendly , you get the service you pay for. There's no way this hotel has 4 stars, at most a 1 stars. Sheets are old. This is more like a Motel 6 category hotel. Train to and from the city center was about $10 euro round trip.

Nice hotel by airport. Reliable shuttle. Very helpful concierge gave great advice on transit. Was full of pets and dogs for a dog show. No pool.
