Ibis Hotel Amsterdam Airport Review

Rooms are simple but tidy. Don't expect a fridge, but the rooms are quiet. Staff is friendly. Room service is available and there are restaurants in the building with long opening hours. There is a shuttle service free of charge between the hotel and airport, services are reduced in the nightly hours though. Parking is next to the hotel but at 17,50 a night not a substitute for long term parking.

The room is quite small. I travel with my wife n one kid. In the room I tried to open the luggage n after that u got no place to walk at all. The thing that turn me off is they doesn't hv a kettle n even the convenience stall doesn't sell mineral water. Along the corridor instead putting a vending machine, they put an ice maker machine of no use. You will b able to buy the mineral water at the bar but at a steep price. Another turn off for me. Pls correct me if I am wrong

Convenient and accessible. Airport shuttle every 10 mins to Schipol Airport where you can get train to Amsterdam Central. Or purchase day ticket in the hotel and walking distance to bus station bringing you straight to City Center and vice versa. Mcdonalds is 10 mins walk. Hotel lobby very relaxing and staff very friendly and helpful. Will surely stay here again. We go out in the morning and come home late at night. Bed is comfortable. Room small but not a problem. Bathroom has some molds but this didnt bother us at all cos we shower and go out.

I had a comfortable night's stay here in March 2017. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The facilities were good and I was especially impressed with the bathroom. Although compact, there was everything provided and the shower was spacious.

I could not work out how to adjust the air conditioner to make the room cooler. It turned off when I set the temperature to cooler than the room temperature. I was quite warm during the night and would have appreciated "cooling" air conditioning to keep the temperature down.

Although I liked having the coffee/tea etc facilities on the 2nd floor, I would have liked a kettle and tea, etc in the room.

I had an excellent burger, chips and beer at the burger bar in the hotel. Wouldn't eat there every night, but it was ideal for my one night stay.

been here twice time, but last time they have a renovation, and the noise is quite disturbing. but the staff is very responsive to help me repair the problem with the tv in my room

Room was ok and kept neat all time. Accessories were made available as needed. Restaurant was fantastic.

Efficient shuttle service to and from Schiphol, rooms spacious and well kept. I found the breakfast pricy for what was being offered.

Average hotel. Good location for airport but very basic. Unfortunately the only food/beverage place open between midday and 5pm was a "toastie bar"

Expensive, not comfortable, low in facilities in the room even for 3 star hotel. Only to sleep if no other option. Cheap regarding other airport near hotels

Thanks to the good location relative to Schiphol, this is a great hotel. Room in itself fine, but expensive for such a small room. Friendly welcome.
The waiter in the bar did not listen well to what I ordered (Sauvignon Blanc) and turned out to have served Chablis which was much more expensive. Discussion about this afterwards no longer made sense.

Excellent Hotel Express in the vicinity of Amsterdam Schipol Airport with free shuttle bus to and from it. Fast and friendly service, modernly set in the environment. Large parking lot and possibility to leave the rental vehicles in the place

Very good at losing luggage, unhelpful KLM helpdesk who changeover every 30mins and keep asking you to come back in 30 mins to see if your luggage has arrived only to have the story reported. First welcome into the country was not great

Transport service from / to Schiphol fine but very messy.
Guests do not know "English discipline" "first come first served". People rush towards the bus entrance. Can anything be changed about this? (crowd barriers in order and / or assistance by hotel officer.

Very good hotel. Breakfast is great. There's even a smoked salmon for breakfast. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There's even a Nespresso machine, except for the coffee machine. What more do you get. There is a 24-hour McDonalds across the street from the hotel.

All furnished, coffee for free, gym, nice attendants. Restaurants - except breakfast - are not so food

Ideal base for departing on a flying holiday. By booking the right room, your car can be parked securely for up to 3 weeks in hotel parking. New hotel vleygel has air-conditioning, provided that the small top is swapped in such a way and with tea / coffee facilities on top. Free shuttle H / t to airport. You can also eat well with a variety of formulas

Lots of noise from the restaurant right down the hall and pillows were almost none existent

Very convenient location for a short stay in the country. However, the hotel needs to change the rule of blocking funds on the card when paying the entire amount for the client s stay at the time of check-in, since unlocking does not take place for a long time and, as in our case, according to our urgent demand. It is enough to take into account the amount of blocking in the total bill for accommodation at the entrance, and you can check the card with a symbolic amount when booking the hotel.

Busshuttel works perfectly from the airport. Despite the proximity to the airport, relaxed and quiet. Junction for buses is nearby. Rooms are great for the price range. Different language TV program, something for everyone. Nice staff and interesting restaurants in the hotel. Internet lounge in the entrance area is free of charge including printer.

Simple hotel close to Schiphol with shuttle service

Well, so-called superior rooms are the equivalent of classic rooms in terms of layout and area. The wing available (free thee and Coffee) is not stocked properly, no milk in the morning. Otherwise, nice staff and hotel.

Good for a night before and / or after flight from Schiphol. Wonderful beds! Quite pricey, but many facilities available and very friendly and helpful staff.

For years permanent place for mystery land. Good shower beds and breakfast ... Prices have risen considerably in recent years, such as parking fees ...

One-night trip via Schiphol, parking, and shutdown service.

We experience a very dry air / atmosphere in the hotel room; are neatly awakened at the agreed time.
Information at the helpdesk is neat, correct; staff take their time, receive all the information we need, including shutlle alternatives.

Booked at IBIS due to parking and shutdown service:
- At the time of departure for Schiphol, however, it appears that there is no shutle service (04.14 am), we are forced to take bus 196 to Schiphol.
- When you return to Schiphol, there is a flight delay and there is no more bus available at the (bus) boarding point on arrival at 1:16 am (prompt !!, exactly !!); the last bus according to the shuttle schedule is at 1.15am (!). Again forced to take line 196.

It is a small but clean hotel that meets the needs. Its breakfast is extremely adequate compared to other European countries. There are always better hotels, but the price meets the need more than performance.

We were happy with all aspects of our stay and the shuttle bus was very impressive in terms of frequency and location at the airport arrivals.

Goods with a group on site: rooms were partly not cleaned, beds we had to build ourselves, and generally very small rooms and sanitary areas, as well as expensive prices ....

They write that Wi-Fi is Free .... I now return to Rome from two days spent in the hotel with a charge of 50 euros on the card for internet connections !!! Be careful ....

It's ok but very basic,food wise has a burger bar and a place that sells crisps and noodles and beer and wine the restaurant is on the 4 th floor looks ok and the prices are not to bad the expensive bit is the car park,if you have a car is 15 but I drive a coach it sets me back 35 a day, the rooms don't have tea or coffee at least not on mine ,no iron but good if you are traveling from the airport

The hotel is getting a bit older now but it's very clean and tidy and excellent value for the money. The airport shuttle is very convenient and shuttle runs many times per hour.

The location is fine if you are visiting the area for business. Free transfer available all time from airport to hotel and vice-versa. Free Wi-Fi. The period for breakfast is excellent (from 4am thru noon). My room was ok: small, clean, functional, and simple. No attractions for tourist. No items on the refrigerator, it is necessity to buy everything. There is a small market close to reception desk. All attendees were very polite (reception, restaurant, etc). At the end the price was fair.

Located right next to Amsterdam airport, the hotel offers a decent and quality environment and comfortable accommodation. The only downside is that you have paid parking. Wi-fi is free and fast. The most striking feature of the hotel is that they choose products that do not harm the nature when choosing the hygiene products they offer their customers.

Would have been better without the embrassment of being asked to pay for breakfasts I had paid for on booking my stay several months before

I personally feel that the facilities provided are not to a star hotel standards like in India. There was no kettle in the room.even staff are not friendly.. probably they are professional.especially for Indian tourist it's not the right choice

It was one night stay arranged by my employer. I found everything to be good quality except for the bar adjacent to the lobby. Service was slow due to the lack of a sense of urgency from bartenders. At one point a bartender got soapy water from the sink all over my sleeve and did not even apologize. They also do not adequately rinse glasses after dipped in soap.

Great hotel, cheap but was able to get everywhere on the busses right outside the hotel.staff was polite, room was clean and surprisingly spacious.

Slept here before we went on vacation, were able to park the car here, and were taken by bus to Schiphol, super nice!

The hotel is nice, comfortable rooms, only a towel in the bathroom and no bidet. Good breakfast but the other buffet meals leave something to be desired. I was a guest for about 2 days due to a canceled easy jet flight ... to go to Amsterdam you have to take a shuttle and then train from the airport or a bus that has a stop near the hotel. The staff does not speak Italian.

Though far from the city, but it's a nice hotel, compared especially with other IBIS hotels in Europe. Also, since IBIS Budget is just next to IBIS main, IBIS budget feels better.

Hotel so big that you can not explain it. Very far from the center. But he has everything.

Ok room. Blinking light in the bathroom. Shower going from hot to cold. Breakfast very limited choice. Nice reception. Frequent shuttle bus to the airport, 10 minutes ride.

Excellent all inclusive hotel, for when your flight on Schiphol beach

Cool. I only stayed one night for being close to the airport and I was very comfortable and with all the facilities.

I have been here together with 3 others. We had two rooms of 2 and these were a bit small. The beds, on the other hand, were immensely large (that is why there wasn't really room for other things). The quality was very good. The disadvantage was that we each had a double blanket, so the blankets were way too large in width and half had to be on the floor. That was not very fresh of course. The breakfast was very good, back then there were not many gluten-free options, but I heard through this that this has improved.

While the hotel is near the airport, it is a quiet hotel. It is a bit far from the city of Amsterdam. The triple room was basic and small. There were other renovated rooms advertised but this wasn't one of them. It has the basics such as bed and TV but with 3 singles, there is barely any room to walk around. The lobby looked modern and the breakfast spread on the otherhand was wonderful with. A variety of cold and hot choices. Expresso machines available at breakfast or for an addation cost in the lobby.

Excellent location to visit Amsterdam and surrounding areas. Major bus hub at a walking distance. Great for kids. Very helpful and courteous staff. I will definitely recommend to one and the all.

Not too bad and not incredible. Plastic cup in the bathroom was a bit of buzz kill. And drain in the shower room was blocked not completely but quite badly... That's disgusting... But otherwise it was cozy and clean.
