ibis Bandung Trans Studio Review

The place is good ... unfortunately the elevator can't 1 and wait a long time ... and once the error stuck on the 22nd floor was forced to use the emergency stairs until the 1st floor ...

You can ... the place is nice, in the middle of the city of Deket where the strategic city of Bandung is.

Pros: big hotel, prime location, one complex with mall and amusement park. The bed is comfortable and the room also very simple. View from room is great
Con: their room is small, the hotel is very crowded, especially during the breakfast. It was very hectic. I cannot find a food of my own, since you must queue in line for every food station. Their parking lot also confusing and in basement is very spooky. I dont like it.
Besides they also don't have swimming pool.

I tried Jacko San (Rp 39,000 US$4), which is melted cheese and enoki mushroom wrapped in grilled sirloin beef with a sprinkle of tempura crunch on top.

This dish benefits not only from the main ingredients but also the Japanese sauce and shredded vegetables. The signature fusion sushi, the Takigawa Roll (Rp 55,000 for a small plate), is made of salmon, scallop, crabstick glazed with Takigawa s special sauce, topped with tobiko and duck liver pate.

From the Meat Bar, I tried the generous L Entrecote (Rp 229,000) accompanied by The Ultimate Mushroom Soup, which was smooth and creamy.

For drinks, I recommend the refreshing Sour Lemon Sparks with sorbet (Rp.29,000) -a mixture of ginger ale, pineapple, lemon, fresh mint leaves and sorbet. And if you still have room, try the restaurant s signature dessert, the delectable Chocolate Melt (Rp 37,000).

Takigawa fusion sushi prices start from Rp 16,000 per plate while the Meat Bar menu starts from Rp 39,000 for a plate of pasta.

It is quite pricey but the quality and presentation of the food and beverages here are excellent.

Best budget hotel place to spend a weekend at bandung, clean and neat hotel room and the hotel service is queit good.
There is a massage service in here,they collaborated with other massage company, cheap enough,only Rp150.000, and you can add a extra "service for that".
The breakfast menu is terrible i think, dont expect a good food in here.
Location is very closed to the Trans Studio Mall.

Now guest have to park the car in the mall which is quite far. The once convenient in basement parking is now allocated for mall valet parking! Very unthoughtful for guest who came from another city might have been driving for hours! Shame they only want you to pass the Trans Studio ticket booth

We ordered connecting rooms (for the children as usual), as always the receptionists don t think it s should be their standard procedure to unlock the connecting doors. We had to give a call to reception and again the house keeping.

The rooms are clean, but towels provided are rather old. There is no soap/shampoo holder in shower (hotel provides soap/shampoo of unknown brand, however)

Breakfast menu is superb. In room dining is however overpriced and took a long time. better just walk to the mall unless you re absolutely too tired.

Parkir jadi jauh... disatukan dengan parkiran mall (jauh!)... padahal dulu sangat mudah di basement (sekarang dipakai valet parking mall!) lewat lift langsung ke lobby. Padahal tamu bisa jadi telah mengemudi ber jam-jam dari luar kota! Tamu dipaksa untuk melewati penjualan tiket Trans Studio

Kami memesan connecting room tapi resepsionis tidak punya SOP/checklist untuk membuka kunci pintu penghubung. Harus menelepon resepsionis dan housekeeping dulu.

kamar bersih. Handuk sudah agak lama. Tidak disediakan tempat menaruh sabun/shampoo milik sendiri di kamar mandi (meskipun disediakan sabun/sampo hotel tanpa merk)

Menu breakfast sangat baik, namun room service sangat mahal dan butuh waktu lama. Di Mall lebih banyak pilihan makanan dengan harga yang jauh lebih masuk akal kecuali bila betul betul terlalu capek untuk berjalan meskipun sebentar.

Terrible experience with Ibis Bandung Trans Studio. I was given key card for room 1416, when I try to get in to the room, the key is not working. Regretfully I should go back to customer service to change the key. After got another key, I went back to the room. But the key is not working for 2nd time which is even more disappointing. Tired of carry in my luggage up and down for a few times. Finally I ask the customer service to change my room. Bad experience because of not enough preparation from Ibis Bandung Trans Studio

Clean, friendly staff, very strategic position and location united with one of the biggest malls in Bandung. Very varied breakfast choices

The elevator is always long, the presos respsonis are too long, & the person is slightly queued up. 2 times there the system is down.
The matter of eating & the room is ok.
Tips if you like omlet, when you come to breakfast immediately, you will miss it because you are in a long queue, then take another one.

The location is ok close to Trans Studio, just walking from the side of the hotel to Trans Studio Mall, breakfast is OK. for small rooms, the air conditioner is also not cold and the WIFI is slow. The price is quite expensive ... besides OK
