We absolutely loved this resort! It was super clean, reduced capacity, staff wore masks all the time, and service was incredible. Restaurants were really good and rooms were nicely sized. Everyone was so helpful and nice. The Star Friends by the pool were always ready to get us involved in an activity whether it be a game or a tasting. They made our stay so much fun! Gorgeous place in paradise!
First time staying here! Great resort. With Covid they take extra precautions. Games and entertainment is nice. Special shout-out to Mariana for fun bingo.

Well structured services to cope with Pandemic, not over crowded, obvious efforts to sanitize, on-site instant testing...wonderful!
The staff at the Grand was simply amazing. Our butler Luis was kind and attentive, as was the entire staff. The food was very good and the rooms are not only beautiful they are also quite comfortable. The grounds are a tropical paradise bounding with local wildlife. The photo opportunities are endless. Whether you are poolside or at the beach the views are breathtaking. My husband and I love coming to Iberostar year after year. It only gets better.

I really liked that they have salted water pool. The food and drinks are top quality and way better than other hotels! Don t look for a crazy parties here with teenagers, neither as you will not find kids, as this is high quality Adults Only resort.
I ve stayed here with 3 of my friends (we are 30s) and vacation would be a bit boring if not animation team, who involved us in various activities.

Let s start with the welcome. Service and check in were smooth, friendly and welcoming. Couldn t have gone any better. The resort itself is top notch. From the giant saltwater pool overlooking the ocean, to the restaurants and activities. Service is also top notch, can t say enough about the service we received. Rooms are extremely nice and large. We spent a lot of time poolside and hats off to my man Oscar (activities), he made our trip a blast. Props to Gabriel and Aaron as well. Got to play nine holes at the Pete Dye Playa Paraiso and what a great track. Would love to have played a full 18. If there is any room for improvement it would maybe be the nightly shows, which we thoroughly enjoyed attending. Circus and Queen shows were great, the others need a bit of an upgrade. Absolutely enjoyed this resort and would return. Two thumbs up!!

Magnificent grounds and architecture, immaculate beach, excellent buffet and room service menu.
Large room with a comfortable bed and a great view from the balcony (we stayed in oceanfront building).
Hard-working courteous staff, always ready to help. But only when you contact them in-person.
Remote interaction is a totally different story.
The mobile app, heavily pushed by the resort, is mostly useless - it's slow, contains little info, takes lots of phone memory and tracks your location.
To see a new chat message you have to go 2 screens back and watch a spinning circle for a minute or two while the message is loading.
Chat responses from the resort staff are mostly inadequate or downright cryptic.
Phone calls are not much better. What surprised me most - every person in the resort spoke good English when I talked to them directly. On the phone, though, almost every caller sounded undecipherable - it was neither English nor Spanish.
After a few days I asked in the lobby if I could talk to anyone, replying to my chat messages or phone calls, directly. They told me it was a separate team sitting elsewhere.
Communication issues look systemic and are shocking for such an established resort. We lost many hours of precious vacation time over them.
Still our vacation was good, but it's highly unlikely we will return to Iberostar.
Staff was amazing. Food was amazing. Perfect resort and stay. Aaron from the activity team is the best! The Hibachi experience is a must. The star friends are the best and they make sure you are having a great time 24/7. Have to come back.
We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon. The food and service was top notch! The French and Japanese restaurants were Nothing short of amazing. The activity staff of Gabriel, Yodan, Carlos, Aaron and all star friends always serving up something fun to do and giving great energy. Our concierge and butler were always having something great served up and planned for our stay. We plan on coming back here again in a few months. The staff and service is very accommodating and always serving up fun! Highly recommend to come and check this resort out.
The trip really was wonderful! Mariana, Aaron, and all the bartenders were great. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Even with the COVID restrictions, it was super easy to have a good time.
