I found going through the adoption process they were non responsive and when they finally responded were not friendly and rather rude. The horse I was interested in I was told already was going through the adoption process. But now months later they are still advertising him. I had filled out the application and had all references, boarding facility and had years experience. After months of going back and forth they responded with how would you like to donate money for our rescue! Needless to say I found another horse at a Last Chance Horse Rescue. They were incredible! Friendly, knowledgeable and the process went so smoothly. Love my adopted horse and love the fact they still keep in touch and will be friends forever.

I loved visiting for this place. It was my first time... I wasn't sure if I wanted to go but I'm glad my husband changed my mind. Its beautiful!! The girl who gave us the tour was so sweet and told us so much about this amazing place. Can wait to come back again.

I found this through a FB event post for one of their weekend events. They do good work here as the animals look very healthy and happy with lots of land.

I hope to get a full tour once Covid restrictions are lifted. We got to see some of the horses up close in a limited area, but couldn t walk out to the pastures. I could only see those from far away.

There are also a couple gift shops on-site.

Overall a cool place to visit.

My daughter just finished a week of camp and had a great time. Mind you this is NOT is riding camp. It s what I would call a community service camp. Kids learn all about the horses, how to care for the barns and the animals and have fun with games/crafts. They do work them cleaning the barns and horses. It s a great way to teach the kids all about what goes into running a barn, owning horses and what happens when people aren t responsible owners. In the end the kids gain confidence, respect for the animals and a better understanding of what is involved in horse rescue. They do get one chance to ride as well.
