Hi we were traveling with our camper and our truck which had a component fail as we arrived at the campground road .Fortunately we limped in on sat I bought a scanner and called around for parts.By luck I spoke with Mitch B in sales who had gone way out of his way to contact other parts departments in your network and put me in touch with them we were lucky to have my wife s car along and I was able to make the repair sun and back home Mitch texted me along this journey all I can say is wow I m not sure which dealership he s in but people like Mitch restore the faith in mankind thank you Mitch when I buy again I think I ll make the drive

Loved my 2016 Chevy Malibu up until recently. Eddie Reader helped get me into this car and he was wonderful my issue has been with service. The stabilitrak and check engine light came on right before an across country trip. I called saying I wanted that looked at and everything checked to make sure this car was in good shape for the trip. Waited all day had to call before they closed to ask when I could get my car and was told that they planned to keep it for a few days I needed a new engine but that would be under warranty. When I picked up my car I was charged for a oil change as if being without a car for a week and the inconvenience wasn't enough. Got down the road and had to turn around and take my car back because the AC no longer. They said something tore while putting engine in and fixed that the same day for me. Now 2 weeks later my check engine light and stabilitrak light comes back on. Same issue before when I needed a engine. Apparently a clamp was loose and fluids were leaking. I bought this car because I needed something more reliable now I really just want to get rid of it before I have to start paying out of pocket to fix a practically new car.
With scheduled 1st appointment of the day for oil change and new fuel filter waited for over an hour and bill was over $200...slow service at my expense...
Don't expect service after the sale from this dealership. If you travel there for a deal take it and get service somewhere else.

It took longer than originally stated but yes I was told this may be the case if, once the area was disassembled, it was noted more parts may be required. This was the case but it was the delay between the shop and the ins. carrier. All worked our excellently and Alex, my primary contact at the shop was super to work with. He is a great reference for your IG Burton brand.
As always, a huge shout out to our sales person, Mike James. Our family have bought multiple vehicles from him over the past 12 years. He always works to get us the best deal possible and remembers the smallest details about all of us. Walked in to the Chevrolet dealership after my car service from BMW on the 25th. No receptionist Around 11 Am. I walk around for 10 minuets. All the sales people are in the office on the computer. No sense of attention on the sales floor. I m the only guy their with one Corvette on the sales floor. I grab the suburban book and walked out. Im in the marker for a biger car and wanted to see the inventory and price. Didn t happen yesterday. Maybe it was just a bad day and bad time. Still in that kind of business no excuse .
Christine was amazing! JB was great also. They made the whole experience easy and I felt very confident I was getting a great deal. Other places I felt I was being taken to the cleaners.

Called Paul in Chevy Service - He set me up for an appointment the next day. I received regular text messages with the status of the truck and he answered my call when I had questions about the service recommendation.
They have no problem selling you a vehicle, but when it comes to getting that oil change and tire rotation they said was included, they re in no hurry. Sat there for an hour and they never even moved my truck. Finally left. Terrible service
My car still has not been repaired by the auto body shop. After 3 months, I was told it was repaired and it was not. It is still in your possession awaiting the repair of an oversight. I have heard nothing back since yesterday. I am extremely unhappy with this service!

We experienced some mechanical problems leaving the beach for Pennsylvania last Friday. We stopped in their Rehoboth location and they were booked solid so the gentleman called the Milford location and Janice agreed to squeeze us in. Janice couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. They had us back on the road in a few hours. By the way we had our dog (75 lb Golden Retriever) and they couldn't be nicer to her. After dog treats and some water and an air-conditioned service waiting area it was hard to get her back in the Tahoe. It's no wonder why they have been in business almost 100 yrs.
I didn't mention it to Janice but our company has about 15 vehicles on the road and they are all Chevy's. I think we will keep it that way.

Pretty good experience buying a used vehicle there I have purchased before at the Mercedes location and no problem. My salesman was great the finance guy was great and the insurance woman as well. Detail really clean the truck up nice and they filled it up. The sales manager was a little too typical car salesman , told me my trade wasn't worth anything and that the blue books numbers that I was looking at were no good.He also quoted me a rate which never came through and then left for the day. Overall happy with my purchase.
My transmission in my truck failed traveling from NJ to the Outer Banks for vacation. Another local Chevy dealer refused to even scan it for codes. I showed up at Ig Burton and explained my situation. They were working on it within 15 minutes. They sent someone on a two hour round trip to pick up a torque converter. I was back on the road with a new torque converter by 430 that afternoon. They saved my vacation and fixed my truck!

They do not tell you all the facts about the car you sre buying. Like no CD plyers in most 2019 Chevrolet vehicles.Which l feel would be z great item to point out. In fact, if l had known, i would never bought this 2019 Equinox from this savvy salesperson. In fzct, if they were any other dealer in srea they would have let me taken it home and return on next day with my decision. I personally will never buy another vehicle from them again. They did not even show me how to work the ckntrols. Just the basic ones. Very diappointed with my choice of vehicle and l. G. Burton!.

Overall this dealership is not so bad. The service department is horrible. I've had nothing but issues with using your service department. I continue to go there for service as I like to take my vehicle where I purchase it and that's why I continue to go there, but definitely not for the services provided by this department within the dealership.
The dealership itself is great. I have purchased two vehicles from there. However, the service department is lacking in customer service.
I had an extremely unfortunate event with my 2010 Chevy Equinox where my transmission went out. I had taken it to this location for prior service and decided to have it towed here to see what we could do. Unfortunately I needed a whole new transmission and I couldn't afford that, and it didn't make sense to put that money into it. I also still owed over 8k on it so I was at a loss on what I could possibly do or afford with that kind of negative equity.
That's when the service department referred me to MIKE JAMES and he was amazing. He understood my situation and did not once try to take advantage of me. He managed to keep me in my price range by getting me a rebate on a brand new 2019 Chevy Cruze. Mark Ivy was the finance guy and also amazing. I'm so happy that Mike didn't push me anywhere outside my comfort zone and still got me into a reliable car within my budget including my negative equity. These guys really saved the day and my wallet.

The issue with my car rendered it undriveable, and I notified the Service Dept as well as my Salesman of the problem. Even though it was a Sunday, my salesman picked me up, took me to the dealership and checked out a loaner car for me. First thing the next morning, I received a call from the Service Manager (Jeremy) and I explained to him what had happened. He assured me that they would go to my house and tow the car back to the shop. The Service Advisor (Wayne) called to let me know what the problem was and let me know that it was covered by my warranty. The work was completed the next day and I was able to pick it up. Everyone involved was very friendly and helpful in a situation where I thought I was going to end up stranded without a vehicle. I can't thank them enough!

Matt in sales at the Jeep location was very unprofessional and nasty after Preston was able to beat IG Burtons deal.
Giving them 1 star because overall the car i guess is a pretty decent car (kia optima 2015 ex gdi) and i had no credit but they still found a way to help me finance and get the car. i give credit when its due. Just recently got it, probably had it for a couple weeks now brakes or rotors started squeaking bad i asked them for help with that because i just got the car and honestly i dont think i should have to pay anything to get them fixed. After a week of trying to get answers on help for the brakes or whatever it was that was making it squeak loudly i finally was able to bring my car their for them to look at it and fix the issue and they said it was the 2 front rotors and replaced them and that actually gave the front rotors problems it didn't have and i paid 150 for that. I also mentioned how the car started to shake when it was in idle and even sent a video of how the engine sometimes sounded which was not normal unfortunately that was ignored. When i gave them the money for fixing the squeaking sound on the way home from the dealership the car again started squeaking loudly come to find out its coming from the back tires. They got my money for the front rotors and i wont go back to their again to get my car fixed unless its for FREE. Also the car had no antenna cover when i got it but they said they had already ordered the cover and when it arrived they would let me know after weeks of waiting for that cover my attempt to put it on came to a very fast conclusion which was the cover that they had gave me wasnt even the right cover for the car and did not fit or work at all basically it was useless and on top of that the antenna piece was broken meaning i d need a whole new replacement not just a cover and my car shut off on me twice with the oil light, engine light, and battery light coming on.

We ran into a travel emergency on Memorial Day Weekend that we thought we were stuck in. We called the Service Department nearly a hour before closing and they graciously agreed to look at our vehicle. The Service Manager, Jeremy, was extremely nice and explained everything to us and had us on our way within the hour. This could have been a nightmare but they helped us out so we could continue our trip.
Super disappointed ! This dealer had a car I was interested in. I talked with one of the sales reps and got confirmation that the car was still available. I went to the GM website and got a pre approval on that vehicle. I reach out to a sales rep at the dealer and we worked out a deal. Prior to filling out the dealer s app I advised the sales rep that I only wanted to go through GM. GM had the best rate. I filled out their app and 20 minutes later i got 6 inquires on my credit report and the sales rep offered me a deal from a different bank with a way higher interest rate. I was very upset about the offer and what happened so I decided to walk away from the car. I asked the sales rep to have those inquiries removed and he said he couldn t have that done. Now I have dropped credit score and no car. Horrible experience
Once again I found myself in need of expert help regarding a car, and I turned to my friend Jim "Bowtie" Bennett at I. G. Burton Chevrolet in Milford, DE. Not only did Jim solve my problem satisfactorily, he found me a beautiful 2020 Trax at another dealer and had it delivered within a couple of days. I cannot say enough about the team approach at Burtons and would recommend stopping in to meet Jim Bennett if you have need of a new vehicle.
I recently did a review after service to my truck and a sit down meeting with a sales person, I feel that i may have been unfair in my review. IG BURTON has always worked with me and has tried to give me the best and most fair deal as possible. True that some of the salesman that i have worked with for years are no longer there or have been transferred to another part of the company. I would like to say that the new sales person that i recently worked with has gone above and beyond. I look forward to continue my relationship with the dealership in sales to come.
