Unfortunately, our experience does not match the mostly positive reactions to Independer. After a first positive introductory meeting in 2018, after the resumption at the end of 2018 the company appeared to be in a rather chaotic period: A remaining employee (Hans) said that several advisers had left the company, but that he could take over our file. During the process, however, it turned out that he was too busy. Mails often arrived deep in the night and on weekends. This stress made him sloppy, where we had the feeling that we had to check every step and always had to insist on pace and overview. Looking back, it was a very chaotic process, with the lowest point being the extra compensation he suddenly found necessary, when the first mortgage application was rejected outside our fault. Although we never agreed, we could only file a complaint with the other remaining colleague after payment. For us it was already clear: we wish no one.
