It looks nice. The breakfast could be a lot better.
Beautiful lobby, clean bathrooms, friendly staff and plenty of space to sit and relax.
Good place for a business veneue. Great parking, only 20 minutes from the airport
I've been staying here at this hotel every year I come to Schaumburg/Chicago for vacation. Each year brings a new improvement to the hotel and it's nice to see. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but a little dated. The service is quite good, as you would expect from Hyatt. Overall, it's a great place to stay.
It was awesome. And the conference rooms are huge and awesoms
Room was clean and large. I liked the indoor/outdoor pool. Expensive breakfast buffet.
Beautiful hotel with all the expected amenities! We were there for a wedding and the event seemed go very smoothly!
Clean and comfortable. Stayed during a middle school state tournament. Front desk was great with plan changes as bracket evolved.
Didn't really look like a hotel from the outside. The lobby had curtains everywhere looked like a conference. We went to medieval times and they shuttled us there and back for free.
The rooms were very clean. Would definitely stay at again.
In room Wi-Fi didn't work, cable t.v. was out for a night, room is very outdated, place is ugly, no fan in bathroom, could hear people in the next room breathing, outrageously overpriced breakfast. A joke for the price they charge and usage of the Hyatt Regency name.
No fitted sheet on the bed, Gatorade bottle on the side of the couch in our room. When I told them at checkout the manager gave us a free night.
Just stopped in for car rental. Very fast, friendly and easy.
Bathroom small cleaning can be better overall k nothing extraordinary
Beautiful and clean hotel near lots of great shopping and restaurants. 20 to 30 minutes from O'hare airport. Rooms are large and comfortable. Updated bathrooms. Only complaint is that the mattress was way too soft.
The rooms were very modern, streamlined, and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful.
Used conference room for a meeting. Set up and ran well. Very nice
Quite and reasonable place to short stay. Good for travelers.
This was my first stay at Hyatt Hotels. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the lobby was beautiful. The room was spacious and the bathroom adequate, yet quite small. I was shocked to find out that breakfast was not included. The hours were listed on the website so I assumed it was complimentary, but It was a $19 breakfast buffet. I ended up finding breakfast somewhere else, which was a big disappointment.
I was here two days in a row for the community behavioral health association annual conference. The coffee and food we're good. There was plenty of parking in the back. The media used for presentation seem to work flawlessly.
Great location. Rooms okay. Bathroom is ridiculously small. Shower looks unclean: stained grout, excess sealant in sink and ok mirror. Bottom of bathroom door is water damaged. Staff friendly.
Understaffed meant insufficient breakfast. They double charged us, and took forever to sort it out. Promised a refund for the bad breakfast but never gave it.
Its low profile but comfortable hotel. In the middle of everything
Good hotel Good breakfast. The rooms are ok but they could modernize some areas of the hotel. Good attention in general
Hands down the best Hotel I've stayed in! I got a hot rate deal from hotwire that ended up being for this hotel for a very cheap price ($62). After I booked it I was so nervous that my family and I were going to stay in a dump because the deal was so inexpensive. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! The room was clean and tidy.. I'm a little paranoid about cleanliness/bed bugs so upon arrival to the room I always check all 4 corners of the mattresses, baseboards, and hidden crevices, which were all clean. The guest service reps were very professional and friendly. They asked about our reason for visiting, I explained that were were stopping in Schaumburg for the night to go to the medieval dinner show with my kids I asked them how far away it was and they said they could have there shuttle bring us and pick us up for FREE! Again, I'm skeptical about anything free but did think it would be nice since I just drove for 4hours so I reluctantly agreed... The shuttle was on time bringing us and picking us up, might I add Curbside! The shuttle driver was very friendly and knowledgeable! When We got back to the hotel my kids who decided not to eat there dinner at the show were hungry, so I ordered room service that was very appropriately priced and the food was great! Also the next morning we used our breakfast vouchers that I purchased the evening before to one of there restaurants off the main lobby (which saved my family approximately $20 by purchasing them prior thanks to guest services). The breakfast buffet was delicious, with so much to choose from (I have picky kids.. I pick my battles) along with an omelette bar made to order. Our waiter was great too! The only thing I could see someone complain about is the bathroom was smaller, but truly I could careless about that because my family and I are not one to hangout in bathrooms. Thanks Schaumburg Hyatt for everything!
Beautiful hotel with excellent service. Great room at a great price!
Very noisy, both outside the room, and the room itself. Room service showed up at my room when I ordered none, and housingkeeping showed up to the wrong room as well.
Not a 4 star hotel. Less than professional and not as clean as expected.
Decent, to many little kids, age 10 and younger, running around. No idea were their parents were.
The care and attention to detail by all the employees.
We were attending a wrestling event. Huge, huge event. There were meet and greets, drinks, tons of fun! The hotel was clean, considering the capacity of people in it. The staff were friendly. The cafe had rajkot good food and, can we say, Starbucks! Hell YEAH!
Nice place. Much bigger than it looks when you first drive up. Any hotel that can successfully manage regular guests, a large hockey tournament weekend, and a huge wedding with ease gets my vote!
A very nice hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our room had a king sized bed and a large tv. The room itself was very large but kind of empty with only a little table, 2 chairs and a desk. Such a big space with really no reason for it. Onsite restaurant had a buffet and decent food. We will stay again if we find ourselves up this way in the future. We paid $130 for the night and they did let us check in early using the convenient app.
Room was very nice and roomy. We had a double room and it was bigger than most rooms we have had. The couch was nice to have. Wish there was a microwave in room but there was one in lobby that we were able to use. Breakfast was really nice but didn't have room to sit in lobby so we took it back up to room. Pool was nice but was sad they had the hot tub shut down and may have heard they may shut it down permanently. Over all great experience for our family.
I always pass this hotel and told myself I wanted to stay there one night. I booked it for my husbands birthday & they did not disappoint! Even with a wedding & chess tournament going on every staff we met made us feel welcomed! From the check in process all the way to check out I was very impressed! Sam the front desk agent was great! He gave me & my husband drink vouchers for his bday & complimentary breakfast voucher but we didn t get to use. We were upgraded to the VIP suite which had 3 connecting rooms. Business lounge, bar area, and bedroom with two bathrooms in each room. Only thing we didn t like is the bed sheet it was to rough feel against our skin. We had two robes & slippers in the closet which we loved! We had a wine bottle & cheese plate waiting for us when we got to the rooms. Very impressive. The ceiling of the lobby was beautiful everything about the hotel is just truly amazing. Thank you for making our stay memorable we will definitely be back again for special occasions. Highly recommend:)!
Very nice. Wish there was a full length mirror in the room though.
Everything was great but there wasnt microwave that was thing we didnt like ...other than that i loved staying there.
When you walk up you can tell that this is an older building but as you walk into the lobby you see that they have been renovating and bringing this location up to date. The lobby is open with plenty of space to relax or sit and do work on your laptop. The rooms are a good size and very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very close to restaurants and stores making it a perfect area that is convenient. My only complaint is the customer service is not up to par yet. My interactions with with front desk as well as food service was not the greatest but not bad enough to take a chance at one of the other hotels in the area. Over all I enjoy my stays at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg.
Good parking lots and close to shopping center but the food need some improvement. The insdie construction appearance is minus
I love this place....Thank you guys very much....

I just took photos for some of the work being done.
Went for a bazaar. Great venue but confusing parking lot/entrance. Could've used more signs!
Horrible customer service please don't go. I requested for towels in my room at 8am before check out. Towels never came and I had to leave for a wedding at 1030am. Never going back with my family ever. Rooms lack proper towels, soap, shampoo, trash bags and tissue. Not to mention I called about the pool before I went and after check-in I was told pool out of service for the week. 0 stars
We were here for a wedding. The facility is STUNNING! Bartending staff was sub-par...poor mixology skills and not friendly at all. But the food was fabulous and we had a great time!
Slipped on ice in the parking lot, too small of a fridge
Section of the hotel was a great place to hold the small convention, offering plenty of space as well as rooms to spend the nights. Decent location and free parking is also a plus! :)
I was expecting more from the Regency club. Based on the hors dourves and breakfast I chose not to eat at the hotel restaurant
The staff at this very nice, clean, and welcoming hotel impressed me immensely. Upon arrival the room I was checked into was unsatisfactory due to a smell the previous tenant had left behind. I could tell the room had been cleaned, disinfected, and could even smell the cleaning chemicals. The smell left over by the tenant was one the would require some airing out however. When I brought it to the staffs attention at 1100pm when I went to the room the immediately offered me another room and apologized for the inconvienence. When I went back to the room they were already in it cleaning it again and putting it stuff to make it smell better. Honori the young man that helped me gave me no grief, seemed sincere in his apology, and made my decision of where to stay when I come back to the windy city easy. Thanks for a great stay, and for making it relaxing Honori.
Beautiful hotel and rooms. No refrigerators inin the rooms. Expensive and high class dining options nearby with good food. No continental breakfast, must purchase at restaurant.
1/5
This IS NOT a 4 star hotel.
Perhaps the common areas are of 4 star quality but the guest rooms, the place where you lay your head is extremely poor.
Please see the pictures. - I have seen 2.5 star hotels better kept and maintained then this.
And to top it all of when leaving I had to get my shoes, socks, and the bottom of my pants completely soaked because the parking lot holds water. My vehicle is black. I spoke with the owner of the white vehicle and we shared opinions of the very overrated star system.
I would not recommend this hotel. I would warn people from booking this hotel.
And I ask whatever governing body to degrade this hotel's star rating.
I would like to show actual up to date images so you can see what you are booking.
Doesn't look like much from the outside, but has been remodeled on the inside.
Classy rooms, great service, overall a nice experience
The hotel seemed nice. We were there for the OUAT convention. Good location next to the mall.
I always enjoy my stay at a hyatt place. Rooms are very clean and the breakfast is filling.
No hot tub average room and average breakfast somewhat dispointed for the price
Friendly staff, great looking lobby, comfortable beds and have had an overall great experience during my stay
Bar nice. Staff great. Pool area and gym and courtyard super great. Great location. Bathroom door rotten, items left from previous guest in cubboard. No fan in bathroom. Bathroom extremely small. Have.to stand on side of toilet to shut door. No suitcase stand. Mini fridge empty and sitting on the floor.
Room was roomy and nice. I didn't like how the TV was neither in front of the bed nor couch and was awkwardly in between a wall. The hair dryer would only work sproadicly, but this was probably just our room. Room service came to fix the bathroom door, but the door wouldn't adlfter they were done. Breakfast food was okay.
It's a nice hotel, but only way in is front entrance. Long way to walk on a cold rainy day.
I had to park my own car no bell person. This establishment going through a major renovation.Had to change first room because of smoke stench.Rooms are poorly listed. You have to stand on side of toilet to close bathroom door. This is a two star at best.I waited hour and a half for front desk to deliver caffeinated coffee. Not like any other Hyatt I've stayed at .
It is 12 30am we have to be up at 5:30am. What we hear is very loud foul language outside our door. This has been almost nonstop since 10:30pm. That is the bad, thin walls and doors! Rooms are nice. Staff is nice. Hotel is located in a very nice area.
