Great room, great staff. Just wish they had a tub instead of a shower only. The view of the bay is so beautiful from the room- definitely worth upgrading the room to get it. There's lots of great shopping and dining nearby, in walking distance, too.
Stayed here three days. Hotel is so amazing. It s walking distance to long beach light house, beach, outlet mall. Everything is in walking distance.!!
I can not give them 5 star not even 4 ... there is no room service .. the girl attending at the bar sucks she needs to get classes of costumer service .. the whole hotel is very nice rooms 4 stars .. very clean ... im going to try another hotel on my next visit to LB parking is 30 dollars a day they try to charge for anything they can ...
Lobby Pizza is not the move. Also never got room service in the three nights I stayed there. The showerhead was also malfunctioning, but I made do. Give me some clean towels once, at least.
The main plus is you can walk across a short walkway and the Convention Center is right there. That trumps everything, but they lost points on the aforementioned shenanigans.
The hotel is located in a perfect location. The staff is extremely friendly and the room was clean and spacious.
We arrived back from our cruise on 9/18. The cruise terminal is only 9 minutes away from the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.
My boyfriend brought back a broken foot. He slipped in the shower in the gym and broke his foot on the ship. We needed an accessible room which the staff was more than happy to accommodate us.
The room was huge! The Walk-In shower was a life saver, and extremely large with awesome water pressure.
The bed was okay, we were exhausted so it was not that big of a deal.
We stayed the night before our cruise and then returned for 4 more nights as we had flown from sunny humid Florida and wanted to visit Disneyland and Venice Beach.
Both visits to this hotel were excellent. The 2nd visit we had to switch rooms due to a toilet problem so the hotel compensation us with breakfast for 3 mornings. The breakfast in the mornings was a perfect addition to our stay. The burritos are huge a stuffed full of eggs and sausage. They gave us 2 entrees, 2 bakery items, 2 coffees and 2 juice bottles, the food was excellent and the staff was extremely polite and quick to fill our order so we could eat and leave quickly.
I will definitely stay at the Hyatt Regency Long Beach again!
Awesome! I walked up to the front desk lady and told them about how we were staying in a horrible hotel and were looking to stay at their place (Hyatt) if there were any rooms available. She was SUPER HELPFUL and accommodating. We were lucky to get the last room available. This place is super clean and offers so much for the price! We will definitely be coming back!
My room was immaculate, the view even from the second floor delightful, the staff friendly, competent and helpful, and the location (right next to the convention center and just a block from the aquarium) convenient. The TV was humongous- too large for me- but I'm sure some would delight in it. I would come here again the next time I'm in town for a trade show.
Very nice! Surrounded by a delightfully fun water area with a man made lake accompanied by little bike like boats you can ride around in the lake. Kid friendly fun!
Hotel was clean enough, the staff were friendly but DAMN if they don't try and nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING! $31 per night to park? $6 for a 12oz drip coffee? Really? Soda machines are a game of pure chance as to what you get, which wouldn't he that bad if I wasn't trying to get water for coffee and not pay $4 for 8oz. The television while nice was WAY too big for the room too. A weird thing to complain about right? Well in that small a space only so big of a television is properly viewable and a 65inch television when sitting 6 feet from it AT MOST is way too big. For these things Hyatt and I will part ways. Not a great stay at all.
Super conveniently located to shopping, dinning, and convention center. Beautiful views minus the homeless encampment in our view. so much to do. Swan boats, rental scooters. restaurant & bar inside hotel. Unfortunate to have to pay for parking, but once you are there you are only a walk away from all that you need, and parking costs anywhere in that area anyway. Fitness facility is nice and a small body of water surrounding half of the hotel has a great walking path. Rooms are comfortable and simple. The shinning star here is the friendliness of the staff.
