Hyatt Regency Indianapolis Review

The most underwhelming experience out of any Hyatt Regency s that I ve stayed at. My floor s hallway was dusty and dirty, and there were pieces of hair and other particles on my bed. While I didn t try the food at the Eagle s Nest, the food from the bar by the lobby was disappointing. Excluding the lobby area, the interior decor could use a serious renovation.
I only have status with World of Hyatt, and I will be staying at another brand when I need to stay in downtown Indianapolis next time.

Room was dusty and tables were disgusting. Bed was comfortable, doesn t provide room service. Pretty expensive for a hotel I could go somewhere else and get more for the price of one night here. Not too thrilled.

Beautiful Hotel with several choices for food close around or in the Hotel itself... Bed was amazing BUT.. Personally I didn't like the pillows and left with a sore neck.. but thats me...

Likes: Front desk staff and valet was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a great location, within walking distance from a lot of things to do and places to eat. Very nice exercise area.

Dislikes: Hotel room and some other areas seemed kind of run down. For the price I would have expected a complimentary breakfast at least. Did not want to pay $4 for bottled water in the room so decided to get ice from the machine and drink tap water. Water was disgusting. Tasted horrible and looked dirty and cloudy. Lobby was large and nice but most things were closed or had very limited hours. The pizza place, the lobby restaurant, and Starbucks closed way earlier than I would have liked. And you can't go get a drink at the bar earlier in the day as it doesn't open till later in the afternoon. No microwave in the room which was unfortunate because we brought back quite a few leftovers from nearby restaurants we would have liked to have eaten later at night. Couldn't find an ink pen anywhere in the room to fill out some papers we needed to sign for something not related to the hotel. A/C unit lowest setting was 65 degrees and when set there it certainly did not feel like 65 degrees. It would be comfortable in the room but I couldn't sleep either night because I was sweating so bad because it was so hot under the blankets. The bed itself was not very comfortable. Felt really hard and woke up both mornings with my back hurting really bad. Slept terribly due to being so hot and uncomfortable mattress. The electrical outlets in the wall under the lamps on either side of the bed were so worn they could barely hold a cell phone charger in them. The swimming pool had metal walls and they were rusting. Just added to the run down feeling we had about our room and some of the other areas. The shower was set up in a way you couldn't turn on the water to let it warm up without getting wet. For all the extra open space we had in our bedroom part of the room they certainly could have made the bathroom a little bigger.

Overall disappointed with the stay. For the price they charge for a room I definitely expected better. I didn't feel the room was any better than a Comfort or Drury Inn. And Drury offers free breakfast and dinner. Went for a date with my wife and wanted to stay someplace nicer than usual. Figured I couldn't go wrong with a Hyatt chain hotel room. Never stayed at one before, but their reputation precedes them. I don't think I would ever stay at one again.

Stayed here for the 2019 National FFA Convention with the Band. Walking into the hotel was just gorgeous! Loved how I could get around from buildings very easily. Also loved how there was a subway and Starbucks in the hotel which was very convenient!

Was a little disappointed in our room, it was very small especially for the 4 girls in a room. Since we all from across the U.S we had luggages which were in the way a lot. We did have a nice view but the bathroom and closet was small as well.

Broken toilet with feces stuck on the bowl. Toilet did not flush. Had to lift the back and mess around with the inner workings to make it flush. Most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. Stiff sheets. The heat was so noisy when it came on that it woke me and ai had to turn it off to sleep and then I was freezing. Wonderful location. Very close to the convention center. Staff was friendly and helpful. Several restaurants nearby. Walkable location. Restaurants inside the hotel for every budget. It was okay. I wouldn't choose it again.

The Staff ROCKS!! I was doing a photo shoot on their property, my model was standing outside in front of a giant window when TIM & TIM (engineering & security) approached. I was sure they came to run us off but NO, They just let us know that the bar inside had a view inside my model's transparent dress due to the sun. THEN they allowed us inside the executive suite for an AWESOME city skyline backdrop!
Thanks to TIM & TIM, I will be making the Hyatt my hotel of choice for future bookings!! THANKS GUYS!

We are here with the Bryant women and HVAC. Rooms are nice and clean and so far the staff has been very friendly. So far the signature old fashion at the bar is one of the best drinks.

Got engaged here, they are amazing service very knowledgeable of the area and the rotating restaurant speaks for itself. The food is no better than great. If you haven't been here you definitely should go

Great location with several restaurant choices. The Eagles Nest is a revolving upscale restaurant on the 26th floor.
