Cool little marketplace with a neighborhood vibe. Their ice cream was tasty, however texture wise it seemed a bit crystalline when I went. I can't attest as to whether that's a common thing, but that's what it was when we went.

This is a wonderful place to find imported English teas. The ice cream is delicious as well. They sell food and candies from all over Europe, locally made soaps, cheese and meat. Staff is friendly, too. Love this place. Support small businesses.

Great customer service. Small place with large selection of hard to find goods, lots of European imports. Uses Boar's Head meat products. Makes their own delicious ice cream - but hand scooped or prepackaged (pint or half gallon).

Family owned and operated since the 1930s, this place is a total gem. Lots of European grocery items, a tasty deli with made to order sandwiches, and some of the best homemade ice cream in Seattle (with unique flavors like Husky Flake and Black Licorice). Everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful--but prepared to wait in line on a warm sunny day!

The Husky Deli is a West Seattle institution. Generations of West Seattlites have grown up with either a sandwich or a waffle cone in their hand. Bread is baked next door every morning at Bakery Nouveau, and the soup is fresh, and made by hand, from scratch... by the same person who has made soup there since I was in diapers. The Husky is WHERE you go for a sandwich or ice cream with your family. Everything is good.

A mix of ice cream, custom sandwiches, and international food products. Stool and table seating. Also interesting candies for those with a nostalgic sweet tooth. Park for free off in the parking lots behind the store. The Junction is a great place to roam around.

I know people come here for the ice cream, but I really love the sandwiches! Fun to check out the store offerings including candy, coffee, teas and other interesting items to add to your cupboards. Locally owned store with a nice staff. A West Seattle Gem.

Ice cream is the best! Try the horchata flavor - amazing. Husky flake and Nutella are other favorite flavors. We like coming here - I only wish it were cleaner. The floor is constantly filthy.

My wife's family has been ordering from Husky for over 30 years now. We've personally ordered food thru Husky about 7 times now in ten years. We are never disappointed in the amount of food nor the quality. Their chicken skewers are more than ample. Their BBQ meat balls are good to go. The sauce is incredible. (I am very picky about BBQ sauce) Although we hadn't ordered their sandwiches in awhile, those were always great as well. Plenty of ingredients and fresh. The only dish I we thought was questionable is their very tiny quiche. They taste good, but, they are so tiny you may have to eat 4 or more to be anywhere near satisfied. Even saying that: We still highly recommend Husky above all other catering, deli companies from s.o.d.o. to West & South Seattle.

Great ice cream, the staff was much more concerned with chatting about the new way they d learned to make waffle cones than serving me though. Despite four people being behind the counter, it took about a minute of standing expectantly at the counter for someone to ask if I needed help with something. The horchata ice cream was good enough to make up for it; just make sure not to except high quality service.

This is a must visit in West Seattle! A old charming business that was the Purple Huskies long before UW.... A real deli, real ice cream, real neighbors, and fascinating shelf items from everywhere.

A visit to beautiful West Seattle isn't an official visit without getting a dollars worth of the cordials. I prefer Amaretto and Raspberry myself. There is free parking on the street (for now) and behind the establishment. The owner is responsible for bring Bakery Nouveau to the neighborhood.

Husky deli is a great local deli with great food and great service. We will come back. I love that they have Gummy coke bottles and their ice cream is very good as well as the sandwiches too.

I wish I could like this place more. They have a great menu, but I ve always been baffled by the slow service when ordering sandwiches. I always end up waiting 20 minutes or more. Recently there were only one or two people waiting ahead of me and 3 employees behind the deli counter and it still took over 15 minutes. I would come more often if I if didn t take so long.

Great meats! This is where I go to get my spicy landjaeger and other deli meats too. The young kids working here are always really helpful and quick. Definitely a West Seattle landmark on California.

Husky Deli is one of the few spots in town you can get cajeta, locally made ice cream, and Haribo gummy candies in bulk. It has a truly eclectic mix of items, most european, that will probably make you wish you could afford that $8 jar of jam.

But who cares? It's an awesome shop, and even if you can't afford the jam, there's probably something in there you've been looking for or wishing you could find in regular grocery shops. And, if not, you can drown your sorrows in lovely, lovely ice cream.

Amazing ice cream. Standoffish staff. I stood at the sandwich counter trying to get someones attention for 5min or so before giving up and getting in the ice cream line. Not once did an employee smile. I mean... you're selling ice cream this should be a pleasant experience.

Great service! Spent an afternoon there with my 6 year-old son and got some delicious ice cream.

When my son accidentally dropped his drink and it shattered, he got upset because he'd made a mess (not because he lost the drink), and the staff replaced the drink with a brand new one anyway.

Really feels like that small-town store/deli that I grew up with.

I dont usually like sour sandwiches but the London's burning sandwich was soooooo good. bread cheese and chilis combination was super. I also got the chicken avocado which was good as well. the sandwiches are smaller than my coworker had described so I recommend getting the whole sandwich. there are also soups and other things you can add to your order if you are just getting half of a sandwich. I will definitely come here again in the future to try all the sandwiches and ice creams.

DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE! The best deli, if they do not have what you need here....forget it. Local bread made daily. Sauces and nuts from all over the world. Homemade ice-cream, don't miss the Nutella malt. I had one the veggie paninis, it rocked my face off. Just go.
