Enjoyed the water park overall. The prices are high on the weekend so go during the week, if possible. The tube requirement for various rides was confusing at times. Life guards everywhere and alert. The food place had variety but was a little high. No ice chests or outside food or drinks allowed. I wore water shoes and shades; for the rides I had to take them off and hold them. The rest of my family put their shoes in the locker. Lockers are nice for holding stuff you don't need very often; a large is $10. No key to keep up with though. There are changing stalls and showers in the bathrooms, a plus. Small park but had ride variety. Kiddie pool was nice, roomy, with variety also. Park was also clean.

Expensive!!

Expensive!!
Not too many things to do there just water slides, and walk inside the swimming pools, they have a bar inside the water where they sell beer,
they also sell food,l but it's pretty expensive, the lockers too, to put your stuff in a safe place, they are small.
It's an OK place, showers are gross and it smells bad in there....

1st of all this place is Ridiculously priced for a small water park... same price for kids and adults to get it in SMH
2nd... you would think for a water park they would have more water fountains and instead of 3 dollar water bottles and that they would be cheaper knowing its extremely hot outside...
Buttttttttt It was awesome to see the life guards Jump into action when someone claimed a child missing or something happened to someone..
Great job to them

This place is great for families I just recommend that you make sure to put on plenty of sunscreen, there is little coverage. The life guards are always watching and never dotting off which is great for those bigger families. I didnt go one turn without seeing a smiling face of a life guard

Extremely disappointed and embarrassed I took family from out of town here because I thought this was a nice place.
We came here on a Wednesday morning and arrived about 15 minutes after they opened. The area around the pools was dirty, I saw 3 or 4 bandaids stuck to the floor and there was trash floating in the pool. That's unacceptable, especially right after they first opened for the day.
Our toddler daughter was wearing floaties that we had brought from home, the blow up kind that goes around kids' arms. After playing in water for about 5 minutes we were told by staff that she was not allowed to wear those floaties. I asked why and was told that they weren't approved and that we could rent an approved life jacket from them. To be fair, the life jacket was free with a deposit. However, the life jacket didn't fit my daughter and in the water was pushing up into her face and actually made her struggle in the water. Understandably, she wanted to take it off. Now, I might understand making them wear the life jackets for safety reasons. But what bothers me is that apparently Hurricane Alley prefers to have toddlers in their pools without any kind of floatation device rather than letting them wear regular floaties. There is no rule that says they have to wear floaties/life jackets! Due to her struggling with the life jacket we ended up carrying her around the lazy river without the life jacket and apparently that was "safer" than letting her play in one foot deep water wearing her own floaties.
My husband went to talk to a manager about the issue. He was told that apparently it says on the website that those floaties aren't allowed. He came out to show us on his phone about 10 minutes later. At that point we didn't care to look at it. Also, our bags were searched when we first came in and either the staff searching them didn't see the the floaties (what's the point of searching bags then?), or saw them and either didn't know the rule either or chose not to say anything.
We had been looking forward to having a fun day here, but the lack of cleanliness and common sense made sure we won't be back.

Friendly staff. Ideal for families or a date. I recommend taking advantage of a cabana rental for the convenience. My only wish was that the bar had a better selection, specifically beer from local breweries. I look forward to visiting again.

We went for a family outing and it was expensive! They are highly overrated, they sold out on towels, the store is pricey and doesn t offer much. Most of their pool and slide equipment is peeling paint or plaster and rusty with water leaks. They forbid you to wear your water shoes on the slides but the concrete is super hot and tears up your feet. If you visit be prepared to spend a $$$ and not much options. Their floats are mostly deflated or need air and not enough to go around. They are obviously making a killing with the entrance fees but not updating or caring for the equipment. Sadly there are not much options in Corpus Christi for water parks.

Our experience at Hurricane Alley was very delightful because of many reasons. The first reason that I have to offer is that there was no long line at all and keep in mind that we went there on a Friday. The other reason is that there was a gift shop that provided the costumers many items like water cloths , ice cream , water shoes, goggles, and much more. We asked the workers there to take a picture of the family in the waterpark and they did . They were very kind and caring which is very nice because not all places have great workers . This is also located right under the famous Corpus Christi bridge and there is the U.S.S Lexington museum which is very fortunate. The price is very reasonable and cheap .Those are only a few of the reasons why this waterpark is an amazing place to visit!
