Enjoyed the praise & worship music very much...We are really inspired by the new pastor, Chris Kouba. I started listening online several weeks ago and was drawn back to "Humble Area First"... (This is what it was called when I used to attend there ). If you are looking to get in on the ground floor of a new Ministry (ministries) & start fresh with your kids, I think this might just be the place check it out..

This Church is not a good church. The people are real rude and fake and thats just the adults. The children are tainted have no idea what it is to be a christian. Very disappointed in the youth as well as the grown ups.

We have been members here for about 7 years. I thank God for our church family. This is the place for Word, Witness, and Worship. Pastor Barry is an awesome Pastor who preaches directly from Gods word.

We moved to this area 3 years ago. After visiting 7-8 different churches over about 7 months, we felt this Church was, by far, the best fit for us. The Pastor preaches truthfully and humbly from the Bible. This Church is very missions oriented! Which we really identify with. It is a very diverse congregation, which we see as a good sign, as it shows acceptance and love. We have been there for almost 2.5 years, and can't imagine leaving!

I rarely review anything online since I prefer to keep most of my opinions to myself, at least not broadcast them to the world via the internet; however, after seeing a negative review of this church, I felt compelled to speak up. Though I have never attended this church, I have a very favorable opinion of it based on an encounter I had with a group of its members, including the pastor and his wife, at a surgery center in Humble last week. I was in the waiting room of the surgery center while my son was having surgery. A young man in a wheel chair who was about to have surgery to receive a pacemaker came in with his parents, his cousin, an aunt, and several friends. Soon the pastor of their church and his wife joined them. Before the young man was taken back to be prepared for the surgery, the pastor asked if he could pray for him. The entire group joined in prayer, and I prayed with them. The love and concern that this group shared was abundantly clear. Even though I live quite a distance from this church, I am considering making the trip to at least visit.

New pastor has fired many good folks that dedicated years of service and who have been there for years and replaced them with family members. Church is now run like a corporation with an iron fist where members ideas and concerns are not taken into account. Terribly disappointed and want nothing to do with new leadership.

No one ever noticed I stopped going until they stop receiving my church tithes electronically and had to change banks as a result.

I have been going here for the last 10 years and raised our oldest son and now doing the same with our son in grade school. We have been following them and been involved in the ministries where they were/are at. The leadership is tremendous and am drawn here because of it, but most of all feal lead to continue being involved here at the HuB.

Was there on a Saturday for a Christian Motorcyclists Assn. get together for motorcycle refresher training. Fellowship was great as always. Being with biker brothers and sisters in Christ is always a great time.

My family had been members here for a long time, we are no longer members at this time. This church used to care about the spiritual walk of their community. However, I have seen this church turn from a church who cares about their community to a church who cares about the money you give and how much and how often you give. Giving to your church is a very important part of your walk with the Lord but it isn't the only part of your spiritual growth.

Moved to Houston from a smaller city. My heart was missing my home church, my kids missed church also. Decided to go to a few church around that have the same doctrine, one of them actually refused to let my son join Sunday school because he was Autistic, lol!! He's 12yr old but his classroom age would be 3rd or 4th grade level, he's a respectful and calm boy but they didn't give him the opportunity. We went to the HUB, I didn't open up to it initially because it wasn't exactly like my church and I'd been let down by the other 2 churches we attended. After church My 14yr and 2yr daughter's loved it, my 12yr old autistic son loved it so much he still wakes me up every Sunday, my 2yr old can't wait to go see her "kids" on Tuesdays and Sundays. I've since joined some woman's classes during the week and go to life groups on Sunday then church service. I go alone with my kids but truthfully I don't feel alone, I feel spiritually fed and blessed. God is so real and everyone in the ministry team are Christ centered individuals. There will always be something to critize a church for but remember we are all running the race at a different pace. We are not perfect.
Still miss Cielo Vista Church in El Paso but this is my home now and I love our church

Best place to worship God and learn his word. Specially for the kids, church has a great ministry for kids from 0 months. I have my 21 month twins and 3 months baby and they love to go to learn and play! Me and my husband assist to a Hispanic Group were we do Bible studies in Spanish!

I have visited this church two times now and I have to say I am thoroughly pleased. The praise and worship team is amazing and i love the way the pastor breaks down the word. Everything is bible based and stays true to the word of the living God. Looking forward to going back there soon

God is where you can find him. I belong to our own Denomination but when I needed to hear God's voice I was led to this church and got blessed by the sermon straight from the Bible. The Pastor did not refer to any outside inspiration but stick with Bible verses. Test. Them if they speak with the Holy Spirit and from the Holy Words. I am still a member of my own church but thanks to other true servants of God, we are.never alone. To God be the Glory. Blessing on all his children that are the light to others.

I volunteered with First Baptist for cleanups earlier this year. Despite my differing beliefs, they welcomed me to join them in helping people affected by Irma. If I was one to practice their faith, I know I would be welcome. Plus, their bathrooms are gorgeous.
