Our cat gave birth and didn't feed the kittens. She totally refuse and pushed a couple of the kittens out of the cardboard nest. I took the 1 remaining live kitten to the Humane Society and they saved the kitten's life. Love this place.

I adopted a cat from this shelter a few weeks ago, she's a total sweetie and they clearly took good care of her. They gave me all of her medical info (important when you're adopting a senior animal) and a free bag of kibble that she's still munching through. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a new pet.

Beyond upset with how this place handles their business. My girlfriend was on the phone with one of the workers and was pressured that if she did not make a call on adopting a cat, and come and pick it up within 48 hours that they would move on to the next person and her application would be thrown away. I tried to call in to get someone on the phone, was sent to voice mail and couldn't leave a message due to it being full. Guess you don't need to worry about servicing your customers if they can't leave a message. Sad to see a place that cares so deeply for animals but won't allow the people who wish to adopt them a decent customer experience.

They were professional and COVID responsible. You can really sense they love animals and take care of them. Their information was thorough and the process of adopting was well-done. They were helpful and the ladies that helped us went above and beyond.

Phone system terrible. Phone agents inept. I could have just knocked on the door of the Maclin location. A 45 minute drive and it would have been faster. I am getting the rabies vaccinations at imperial animal hospital. At least their i get treated right. It was not a good follow up experience. Maybe the phone agent needs to listen better to the customers message instead of calling back with alame message saying they need more info
The humane society has all the information to begin with. I'm not wasting my time or money with this silliness.

We took out puppy in to be neutered (snip it program) and chipped. Because of COVID you park and they come to your car. Paperwork is done over the phone and through email. Everything went smoothly. I was impressed with how smoothly. And now he comes the same day, no overnight stay. The people/vet techs come out and get the pets, and Cooper went with her without a problem. And they fell in love with him! He was well cared for.

Like many of the animal rescue organizations, the HSMO is solid on their principles and it is all about the animals.

They do so much on soo little and have such caring staff and volunteers. If you aren't going to adopt, consider donating, fostering, or volunteering.
