Great shelter! The animals look happy and healthy. The employees are professional and very helpful. Adoption applications are available online.
Their visit protocols have been pretty strict due to the pandemic - online sign in is required before visiting and only a limited number of visitors are allowed in the back. I appreciate that they've a systematic visitor plan in place for everyone's safety.
Nice for a shelter. Still has the unavoidable smells and messes. Little difficult trying to find out about a specific animal. Haven't actually adored one yet.

My husband and I adopted a sweet cat from this humane society back in February of 2018. The facility was clean, the staff was very nice, and everyone was helpful. Our sweet cat has made our home that much better.

Great building. But, in order for them to walk animals they have to bring them out in the main hall way. One very aggressive dog got away from staff and knocked over a few kids, if it were not for a few non-staff related men, things could have been very bad. Staff didn't seem friendly or have any customer experience at all. When we left we noticed fleas in a few of the cat rooms, asked staff about it. They laughed and said "Well, it is a Humane Society". With proper Management and training this place would be great. Staff seems to be a "Buddy" based system.

Forst time visiting. There was no one at front desk to ask questions. No one offered to help. Maybe that is the way a Humane Society smells but we felt the odor was strong. Also we had to ask other customers about how a pet adoption worked and man the cost is way more that we could afford..$99 for a kitten!
The staff and interior are so welcoming. The shelter had many cats available, and they made it easy to meet them with the cat and kitten rooms. I got 2 sweet cats .
So I took a stray cat that kept hanging around my apartment. They make me wait until they found their owner because if they couldn't they told me to let it loose back into the street. This waiting made me late for work. I have friends that really donate alot of money to this society and it makes me wonder if you are telling me to release the cat back into the street where is there money going. No one deserves to be homeless animals or humans
I have now adopted 2 of my babies here, one a gorgeous sweet kitty and a energetic loving pup! The staff I have worked with many times and they re super knowledgeable and genuinely care about what they do. They offer so much more than just adoptions. They want to make every experience you have a good one.

I love what they are doing for animals in this area. I volunteer here and it's absolutely wonderful. It is always great coming back and seeing animals gone after being adopted. Awesome stuff

I went to the humane society with the thought that I might adopt a dog. The volunteers and workers there were so helpful and knew a lot about the dogs in order for me to make a decision on which one would be the new addition to my family. Generally when I have gone to a humane society they act as if I am taking up their time and don't want to let the dogs out into the outside pin so that I could interact, but not at this humane society. She let me play with the dogs and see how I interacted with them. She recommended an abuse pitbull that had just come in and I said what the heck. As soon as he came outside into the pin he crawled up into my lap and I knew that was my new baby. I couldn't have asked for a better dog for my personality and it was nice that she knew the dogs well enough to pick out my perfect match. I will be back in a few months for a girl puppy and hopefully I will find a perfect match again for our family.

Amazing they can get so many pets adopted. The facility is nice and there are short trails in the woods and rooms for getting to know potential pets. Most dogs even are free during specials and puppies have a charge but includes a free spay/neuter, rabies shot, and first vet visit for a low cost. While they treat for worms and such the hygiene is tough to keep them really separated so dogs often have these coming on adoption but I can't argue with the numbers they get through or atmosphere. Puppy social class is super fun, cheap at $5 per session, held weekly, good for pups to be with others once yours is vaccinated enough.
Great! Went in to meet a dog and introduce her to my own today and the staff was super nice and the facility is nice. It's a bummer more people don't adopt more of the animals but they seem to treat the current tenants very well.
Dropped off some extra supplies they could use. If looking for a pet, check them out.

Place really does take good care of animals and the people who want them. Before even going, look into whether or not you can reasonably have an animal because you will fall in love.

The nicest shelter I've ever seen! Each cat room has a theme. Example, the kitchen has a 'stove' with multiple cubby holes to hide & sleep in. There are eating trays attached to the wall for lounging on. There is even a collander with a blanket...and a sleeping cat!
Can't tell you anything about the dogs tho. Didn't make it past the cats.

The facilities are so incredibly nice, the animals are well cared for and the staff is so friendly. There seem to be so many wonderful volunteers too, some that work and some that just come by to walk the dogs or love on the cats. I'm so thankful these animals have a place like this and thank you for all that you do.

Literally the most awesome animal shelter I've ever seen. The animals have different rooms they can hang out in that have been furbished like different rooms in a house, the staff are kind and the place is just all around amazing.
