I started dutch classes as soon as I arrived in Brussels and started working. Everything went well, except that I didn't went to the exam of the first level due to my work program and I couldn't come immediately to clear this. So after 3 and half months, after I did some online classes and I wanted yo register for another class they told me that I must wait 6 months to have the exam....or just start all over again in a month or so...
It's not really encouraging to hear that wen you try to learn a new language.
And I understand that everywhere there are some rules that we need to respect, but I asked for an explanation...but no answer except :"these are the rules". Rules that I was NOT informed about at the beginning!

I learned good enough Dutch in 6 months (intensive courses) to be able to study a cooking course via VDAB entirely in Dutch. I loved every teacher there, they are all cool in a different way. Best schools ever. Recommending to EVERYONE.
