This company has a terrible reputation in our neighborhood!!!!

HTA Companies showed up over 2.5 hours late without a call. They refused to complete the work they were hired because there wasn t enough time left in their work day. Had they shown up on time it wouldn t have been an issue. They moved one sprinkler head and deactivated one. They were supposed to move 5 heads and remove 3 heads completely. They instructed us to call them back when we were ready and they would come back. They billed us $97.50 for a service call only to tell us that a second service call would be required because THEY WERE 2.5 HOURS LATE. When I called to dispute the bill, I was hung up on and then they refused to answer the phone when I called back. President Ted Harkins called back only to berate me and accuse me of not being able to pay the bill. He asserts that I m not paying for work they completed. He fails to see that multiple service calls were not necessary and we should not be paying for these calls. Our neighbors have experienced the same issue with HTA Companies and having to repeatedly have them return because they never do everything they were hired to do. They re fraudulently charging multiple service calls due to their own incompetence and refusal to complete the work they were hired to do. DO NOT hire HTA Companies unless you have money and time to waste. They re unprofessional, unreliable and worst of all untrustworthy.

HTA Companies completed the installation of our landscaping at our newly-built home last year. Based on plans from our landscape architect, HTA removed all of our weeds, graded our yard, installed a full irrigation system, added topsoil, planted trees, mulched our landscaping beds, and seeded our lawn. We had some serious difficulties getting the project started, due to COVID-19 executive orders and subsequent staffing issues. However, once the job was started, it was worked continuously until completed. The crews were prompt, professional, and courteous, and brought all of the appropriate machinery and materials. The project finished exactly on budget, and we have been very happy with the work. HTA was great to work with in tailoring the project to meet our budget as well. We decided to reserve some of the planned additions for subsequent years to maximize our funds.

We hired them to move a handful of sprinklers and remove two. We were given a 30 minute window for our appointment and when they didn t show up we called the office to find out what was going on and instead them apologizing and calling their employees, we were given their number to call. Nobody answered the phone so we left a voicemail to reschedule as it was over two hours after the appointment time. They ignored the voicemail and showed up 2.5 hours late with no clue what the job was. They moved 1 sprinkler and deactivated one that we wanted removed and didn t touch any other sprinklers. They advised that we can just call them to come out again for the rest so they can charge for another service visit instead of doing the job they were hired for. They don t complete the jobs hired so they can charge for more visits and work. It is a complete scam. I also find it interesting they don t allow reviews on some of their business pages. Their owner and office staff are completely rude and I will never do business with them again. They are a nightmare to deal with and don t listen to the customer.

I'm not Jay Glossop, I'm Ron Bell, and I had HTA do a lanscape job for me. They were very professional, on time, and the crew really busted butt and did a great job. Bob White is a great guy to deal with, and I can't say enough about him and his crew. I highly recommend this company.
