Only a small sign outside of the house, which is private property and cannot be visited. Not much to see. However, it may mean a lot more to people in the IT industry.

It is great to discover how and where Silicon Valley originated. The streets and houses are well maintained and visiting the area is like going back in time; in a nice way.

The birthplace of Silicon Valley. The pioneering spirit that began in this area is now connected, and I felt the history of IT.

Like the description says, it's very unassuming but it's amazing to think what came out of this place! I'm inspired!

If there is no explanation plate in a residential area, it may be overlooked. It's a historic place for the IT industry, but it's like the United States that is not a tourist destination.

It feels crazy to review a garage, but this is the best one I ve ever visited. The green paint really adds to the appeal of this place. Obviously the fact this was the birthplace of Silicon Valley is cool, too. Well worth a visit, but don t get too close because people live here.

Closed driveway gate and posted "Do not enter - Private Property" despite Fb page saying "Open 24 hours."

It's only an information board, but it's worth a visit.

Great to visit this part of history in a lovely part of town.

The garage where Silicon Valley was born. HP's first office. Palo Alton is a place where single-storey houses are located on the side streets. He writes in the story about the garage and the company in front of the house. It has a historic and interesting feeling.

A good insight into how inspiration can start anywhere.

There's nothing much to see here. I wouldn't bother coming here just to see a sign. Specifically at night.

It was super interesting seeing the birth of hp and Silicon Valley. A very inconspicuous house in a nice neighbourhood, who knows that one du it would be one of the world companies

Historical place in which the HP company was founded and which marks the beginning of several IT companies that emerged after Professor Terman urged his students to start their own technology companies instead of working for firms that already existed. It is on the way to Stanford University.

It's pretty cool to see the birthplace of silicon valley buy be aware that you only get to see the garage from behind a fence and there's no way to get any closer.

There is nothing to do there but see the garage where it all started from outside a fence, but great to see a piece of history and what can come out of a modest garage

Very emotive and exciting, love it the outside of the house it's just a simple house with a garage in the back in a nice neighborhood, the inside it's what it makes it OMG INCREDIBLE

Historic place, where HP was born, fantastic neighborhood

Amazing to get insights into the lifes of the founding fathers of Silicon Valley!

I have never been here but isn't it cool that this small garage started a revolution and turned this once sleepy place into a tech hot bed. Every person associated with tech should visit this place and appreciate the role this place played in shaping today's Silicon Valley.

If you love technology, you will love the history of this place. The Birthplace of Silicon Valley is significant. To understand the impact of these two men on the entire stratosphere of technology is truly overwhelming. If you are reading this review, then Bill and Dave have impacted your life through the medium in which you read this review.

Just go and take a picture! For the historical aspect it is worth it!

Admittedly, it is cool seeing the garage that was "the birth place of silicon valley". It's even cooler learning that it's a state monument. But at the end of the day, it's just a garage in someone's backyard.

Some photos here show details of the garage's interior. When I went at around 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, the garage was inaccessible. I was able to read the landmark recognition sign and look at the outside.

This place is where Silicon Valley was born. If from the front it looks like an ordinary house, but in the front part of the house there is an explanation board about the history of the place. This house is in a residential area, and unlike other museums, visitors cannot enter to see the contents of the house. Visitors can only take pictures of the outside of the house.

Very cool to imagine that HP and Silicon Valley were born out of a small garage. Just stroll through the neighborhood and feel the climate of the place is worth the visit. Too bad we can not get into that garage. Then it's worth a jump to the nearby Stanford University.

Free historical landmark to visit - definitely no people there and very close to Palo Alto downtown

Although not much to see except the "garage", but you know that before. However, the American houses in the whole neighborhood are nice to look at.

It does feel special to stand by here and realize in 1938 someone built what is Silicon Valley today. I think founders would have a more deep-seated appreciation to this place.

Welcome to the origin of Hewlett-Packard, the origin of Silicon Valley. It was a very meaningful study.

Just a inspiring garage, a historical landmark, walking distance from University Avenue. Could be a small museum.

It is a normal house and garage, but it is much more for what it represents.

An inconspicuous place, but a witness to the rapid development of science and technology.

One of our most amazing landmarks. This is where it all started. Be sure to take a pic by the plaque. This is where Silicon Valley got its start!

Worth a quick visit if you're in the area. Has a sign and you can see the garage through a fence.

sensational. Be at the beginning of the whole new era. But it is good to warn, for those who do not know, you cannot enter or see anything, it is the facade, a plaque and only, what you see in the photos is what you see in the visit. Even so, too much for those who like it!
