DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I have a '73 Jeep Commando with a stock AMC 304 V-8 engine. I have meticulously restored this vehicle. I thought that putting in a TBI fuel system would greatly simplify the fuel delivery system and make this vehicle very reliable. I was assured that this system was made specifically for this engine. The opposite was true. I spent the better part of the year trying to get this system to work. Although Troy (tech support) tried to be helpful, this system simply doesn't work. I replaced the CPU, the tach filter, the TBI body itself and the injectors (all under warranty). The engine would fire up cold. But then, when you turned it off (hot or cold) and tried to restart it, it would unmercifully flood and not start. I would have to wait 24 hours before it would start again. It flooded so much that my oil became diluted which damaged the rings on my (brand new) engine, leaving it with poor compression. Troy finally ran out of ideas. I tried plugging a reliable diagnostic reader into the ECM port, and this caused the EFI to severely malfunction (shutting the engine down) and it wouldn't read any codes. It was a catastrophic failure! The installation instructions have very poor, blurry and unprofessional illustrations and the directions were often erroneous and incomplete. For example, they provide a small grommet for the firewall penetration. It is not possible to pull the wiring harness through this small hole. I ended up punching another very large hole in the firewall for this application which is now of no use. I've spent over 60 hours in the course of 14 months trying to get this to work, even employing a Master Mechanic (teaches auto mechanics at the University). He agreed that this system is flawed and can't be remedied. I have multiple installation holes which I now have to contend with. I contacted the owner (Matt) four times to request a refund of the $1,700.00 I invested (not counting labor). He ghosted me and wouldn't provide the basic courtesy of a reply. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT! DO NOT BUY!!!
