Howe Security Review

Used Howe for several years and have always been satisfied. Still using them.

One of the worst companies ive ever worked for, I worked 5 months coming in we discussed I was suppose to work with one of their school accounts instead he gave me an overnight patrol detail watching ah mans house, I didn't mind at first because we discussed it would only be temporarily because i had an prior engagement . I did that detail for 1 month ! Aftet that month I was then put in the spot we originally talked about for about a week then he moved me to another school account where I was mistreated by one of their supervisors when I adressed the issues it made seemed like i was the problem and that I just wanted to argue, sidenote: the communication skills are horrible . fast foward to the present last week I gave a days resignation because I was getting handed little petty hours now THAT school is out and not the desired shift I wanted. I had told chuck in the past already but nonetheless I did any shift I was asked . Today I was suppose to receive my last check ( they only have paper checks) I've learned a vaulable lesson I will not ever work for a company that's has paper checks only. I went to the office to PICK MY check up it was not there I then called chuck and Bill to figure the issue out I called each phone 3 times the third time bills phone went to straight to voicemail as if he had just blocked me, I then sent a message stating that if the reason my check is not there due to them not receiving my uniforms that I wrote in my resignattion letter that they could call me at anytime to set a date to return the uniform because they dony have set times when the office is open ,I never got a call or text about it. So they decided to be very petty and with hold my check today because they were mad I resigned , I will not stay with any place of employment if i feel im not being treated right or valued I went above and beyond for that company as in doin my job to the best of my ability. I had to tell them that i would call the police and tell then that were withholding my check he then came to his senses and had someone to give me my check and uniform return in exchange for the uniform I WAS TRYING TO GIVE BACK IN THE FIRST PLACE. There were more incidents but you get the gist of my review I ADVISE EVERYONE TO THINK HARD ABOUT SEEKING EMPLOYMENT WITH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOUR ABOSUTLEY DESPERATE.

I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Howe Security. Bill and Chuck are wonderful bosses who care about their employees. I highly recommend Howe Security. Definitely the best guard company I ve ever worked for.

I ve been working at Howe Security as a supervisor for approximately 1 1/2 years now. I ve worked for several other security companies as a supervisor and this is by far the best one to work for! Chuck and Bill do everything they can to make sure all of the employees are well taken care of!!! I will never work for any other company since Howe has been VERY loyal and appreciative to myself and my fellow co-workers!!! Howe also ensures they provide the BEST quality of work to all of their clients!!! Definitely have a 5 star rating in all areas!!!!

I ve worked for howe security for a year and a half now. Coming into this company I was offered a roll as a supervisor securing and maintaining a low income property located in north Chicago IL. Not the easiest property to be at. As I was a little nervous at first not knowing much about this company. Shortly after taking the position. I realized I made the right choice. Bill and Chuck Howe treat myself and my team with the outmost respect they do everything and anything in their power to make our job a little easier. Five star company five star rating. I wouldn t want to work for anybody else in this line of work.

Security officers at Rise Mundelein DO NOT care about social distancing. One got very heated easily upon being called out. Very unprofessional. Contacted Mundelein police, and Illinois Department of Public Health about their social distance enforcement.

I have been working for Howe Security now for over 10 years and I laugh at the negative comments because they are not true. I ve never had a problem with my paycheck, I ve never been treated unfairly, and whenever I need something, Bill Howe goes above and beyond to make sure I have the right tools to succeed.
If you are looking for a security guard company in Illinois or Wisconsin call Howe. You will not be disappointed.

Worst company don't waste your time I work 72 hours and they don't want to pay me Bill and Chuck won't answer my phone calls and they will not even respond to my text messages
