Horrible Customer Service!!!! I should of read the reviews before hand. I paid a deposit up front and they never showed up for the job. We traveled from Chicago and had a schedule appointment of 12pm to unload from a semi into a storage unit. I waited for 2 hours and nothing. I called Ricky after 30 minutes of waiting and he send my called to voicemail, fifteen minutes later he sends me a text that someone should of been there already and gives me his worker's phone number but of course the worker doesn't answer. I text Ricky and let him know that his worker is not answering and all that he tells me is that he is trying to get a hold off the worker. After this, he never answered my texts or calls again.

The ABSOLUTE WORSE moving company I have EVER used!! They showed up late, took 4 hrs longer then supposed to, let all my furniture/boxes get soaking wet and destroyed and or damaged EVERY item they touched!!!! Ricky said to claim everything on their insurance, which us a joke! Offered me $100 when the claim I submitted was for $1,000. They ruined all my items and were willingly to give me $100!! CROOKS!!!

Worst. Moving. Company. In. The. History. Of. Moving. This was the worst moving company ever, if not the worst company in history. They chipped almost everything they touched, and they stole almost $1000 worth of stuff! Including my record player, and my bike that costs about 200. DONT USE THIS COMPANY

This moving company was very difficult to work with. The man who showed up to load our stuff did not speak any English, and we spend hours miscommunicating. The contract we signed had different requirements than the preliminary contract we agreed to upon booking. The cost changed once the driver had loaded up and drove off. The delivery time changed after they had been gone longer than the delivery window presented to us. We could never call anyone on the team to visit about our stuff, though we did get a few text messages. And when our stuff was delivered there were several damaged items, so I called the company multiple times to reach the claims department and was hung up on every time without fail. Now I noticed their website is down. I got the feeling Ricki (the manager, who would text us occasionally) tried to be professional, but overall this felt like a huge scam. Please avoid.

Ricky and his company are a complete joke. I have been waiting for my furniture since last month! Kept saying it's not my fault if the pervious guys trucks broke down twice. I just got the work order. Oh but he promised to get it to me ASAP. The move was only from Texas to Colorado Springs my address was wrong and Ricky not once did he admit that he was at fault for it. He kept telling me that's the address I gave him. Like I don't I know where I live really. I verified my address before I paid 1,400 he said yes in Colorado Springs. Movers passed the Springs and when to Littleton. I had to pay over $ 300 because of a mistake he made & as well as my mother. I took the fault for her because of her mistske. Rickey was at fault too and never admitted to it. He supposedly paid the extra. Movers came to my home the following day. Brought my stuff in and then brings me a piece of paper that says I have to pay $75 for flights of stairs even if it's 3 steps. Seriously? As the movers were bringing my furniture in. I made sure my furniture was in tact. Every single piece of my furniture was scrapped, cracked, chipped. Every single piece. If it was one scratch or scrap fine but not everything. Mind you this was only a 1 bedroom move! I paid over 2,000 to get my stuff over here and everything had damages. Oh but wait my vanity mirror to my large dresser was not shattered wow I was shocked my plastic container with nothing but glass was fine. Yes it bothers me very much. The only thing Ricky was worried about was money. Liek of it was so easy to just cough up $500 bucks for his mistske! Please do not utilize this company for your move. He will scam you. Do not let him sweet talk you either. Apparently it's a thing as other reviews said as well.

I should have read the reviews before I decided to go with Houston First Movers! I had a terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Ricky is a horrible owner. He has no customer service sills and over charges! I am beyond furious at the way I was treated and the amount of money it cost to move my items.

this moving experience turns into a nightmare, I have my stuff shipped July9, could not get hold with Ricky since August1 (which is delivery date in contract). Finally my furniture got delivered yesterday (Sept11) after I was ready to report police, however they stole my and my son road bike! also a few others stuff are missing like my son records player and 4 large painting frame, one of them are very valuable. the owner RICKY is a big liar and once he got your business and payment, he will never answer your calls. I wish I read the reviews before I decided to use them.

read other review , don't understand why such company can still run as normal? I googled the moving company it called Excalibur moving (broker) , after I signed contract with Excalibur, they sent Ricky to pickup my stuff. I will go to report Ricky to police this weekend, not sure if the police can do something to make Ricky stay out scam business

I'm not one to write reviews , but this company is a joke. Ricky has been the most unprofessional person I have ever delt with. It took almost 3 months for me to receive my belongings. They take no inventory of the items they pick up. He has multiple clients items literally thrown into one big pile in the the storage area. I had to FaceTime and tell him which items were mine from this pile of random peoples items. When the driver finally arrived with my belongings I was charged an extra $300 from the original agreed on price. Upon inspection the items I found multiple items damaged and completely missing! Stay far away from Ricky and his company.

can you give 0 stars? Deer Park Movers and Houston First movers are one in the same. Horrible service. Paid $129 up front because I was told that would lock in my first hour. Movers never showed. had to press charges and dispute charge with my bank. I would stay far away.
