HOUSTON AIRPORT/MARRIOTT HOTEL Review

It was nice for the price but it the main issue was how much it charged for water and wifi. Incredibly inconvenient but the hotel itself was very nice.

Great place to stay except there was less than half a roll of toilet paper in our bathroom with no extra rolls. Not enough for 3 people.

Overpriced food and the wait staff didn't even acknowledge me until I had to flag them down. At least the electricity was free.

Subway connects the hotel directly to the airport. Big and lovely lobby with free Internet connection. Great drink and food selection at the bar.

If you need a place to crash between flights, this is the closest option to IAH

One of my worst stays ever. The hotel was undergoing reservation and guests had to walk through alternative routes to reach the lobby etc. They put me in a newly renovated room, but for 2 nights in a row, the key card did not work and I had to call security to let me into the room using their master key. It was not just me. At one point, there were 3 guests in the corridor all waiting for security to come and let them into their own rooms ! Just a terrible experience overall.

We were stranded at the Houston airport on Tuesday night due to an ice storm. All hotels in the area were fully booked due to the storm. We took the airport shuttle at 11:30 pm to have dinner at the Marriott hotel. At 2 am we were asked to leave the hotel lobby by their security guards. There was no compassion showed for all the people stranded by the storm and could not get a room for the night. No thoughts on helping others during a difficult time. Having been a long time and frequent Marriott guest, I was amazed at the lack of empathy shown by the Marriott security personnel. We then went down to take the interior airport shuttle but it had shut down for the night. With no where to go, we rested in the shuttle boading area. Again, the Marriott guard came down and ordered everyone off the shuttle waiting area saying it was Marriott property. This was at 3 am in the morning! I was so disappointed at the lack of caring and compassion shown by the Marriott s security staff. What happen to relaxing the rules and showing compassion to those who have been stranded, far from home and have no where to go?

Very nice area to have a meal or appetizer before a flight, quick shuttle to the terminals. Open seating lounge, well appointed, and good food. Had to wrangle a server but staff was friendly and attentive afterward.

Great hotel with extremely easy access to IAH. Also my compliments to your server Donna at your lounge / restaurant. She was gracious, friendly, and attentive server who truly made me feel welcomed and want to return. Great job!

Clean room! Great staff Darren Richard and the maid that found my laptop are the sweetest people I m so happy to have my laptop back! I left it in the covers as I travel for work a lot and got home in the east coast only to realize I forget it I called the desk and everyone was so helpful in taking the matter in their own hands and getting it back to me I am legit so impressed on how helpful and accommodating the staff are here! Thank you again. Keep up the fantastic team you guys have there! :)

Clean, quiet and most of all: extremely convenient. Tram ( subway ) runs in the basement of the hotel to any terminal. They have a restaurant next to the lobby, open until 11pm as of this posting. Nicely updated room and bathroom. Overall great stay.

I had the misfortune of having a flight home cancelled and was forced to stay overnight in Houston. As it was late and my re-booked flight was early the next morning I decided to stay at the Marriott in the airport. The staff at the hotel were efficient and extremely friendly. Everyone from the front desk staff, to restaurant bartenders and servers, even cleaning staff I passed in the hallways were welcoming and always offered a smile and hello or "welcome to the Marriott". My experience at this hotel was exemplary and I am grateful to all the staff that made my night (when I so badly wanted to be home in my own bed) a warm and comfortable one. Thank you.

Staff has always been lovely, especially in the mornings at breakfast time. My remote was lost in a routine cleaning of the room and I got the new remote within just a few minutes of calling the help desk. Everything is very orderly and an overall good experience.

Large airport. The business class lounge does not have toilets!

The Houston airport is an amazing place especially when you see a family member.

I really like this Marriott. It had a really cool vibe that made me think the pilots and flight attendants probably saw it as a party stop over. The staff was super helpful an room service went over and above

Overnight stay to catch an early flight. Restaurant was typical Texan food (dinner). Opened for breakfast at 6am so might not be an option for early flights. Room was nicely renovated and relatively quiet considering it was on the main loop of the airport. Hotel is connected to the airport with an underground tram that runs every 3 minutes.

Very convenient for who needs to be close to the airport in Houston Texas

Typical nice rooms like others in the Marriott chain. Real pro of this place is that it's at the airport. Shuttles to other hotels always take a long time. Real waste when all you want after a flight is to get to your room. Quick tram ride is amazing. Also, nice gym.

This hotel gets 5 stars for convenience. I stayed here for a few hours between flights. All you have to do to get to the hotel is take the tram on the bottom level. The reception area is beautiful and spacious and the staff is kind. The rooms are clean. Overall it's a perfect place to stay if you need a room convenient to the airport.

OMG...How good is it to have somewhere so comfortable to relax when u and the family have a 17hr lay over. Will always s tray here. Very professional and affordable.

Room was clean and looked to have been fairly recently renovated. Noise level was higher than I would've liked from both outside traffic and other guests in the hallway.

Crazy nice place to relax the night before an early flight

Location is right inside Houston IAH Airport, so it's really convenient. Rooms are super clean, nice, & fully services. Service was great! Super prompt & efficient. Loved it here! Overall, no complaints!

Always get stuck here in Houston... but heck this Marriott works cause it s actually IN THE AIRPORT Terminal!! You just can t miss your next flight right?!!

Awesome place to stay before a flight. They took wonderful care of us and fed us well. Shuttled us to our terminal in the morning and it was great.

Wonderful room and great service. Dinner at the restaurant was wonderful.
