They will only pay $50.00 on a lottery ticket I paid $60 for them and all they would pay me was $50 in cash I will give you a $10 money order but you cannot spend a $10 money order in their store what the hell I think the Kentucky lottery should take a lottery out of all the Houchen stores I make up their own rules. Refuses to let employees speak to an actual person. Giving the run around about missing w2s and wont communicate with anyone. So glad we no longer work for this company. I have never ha . a corporate office as difficult as this one.

The receiving department guy on 12-21-15 was excellent. I wish all receiving was like this place. On 625 Raven Ave. 6am appointment. Had me in the dock on Time and unloaded my trailer with paperwork in hand all under a 1/2 hour! Space to park for overnight. Good lord this is how it's supposed to be!

Not a complaint, just a suggestion. Please train all cashiers how to activate gift cards. Three Shell stores lost $125 in sales. Christmas day 9:30am sweet little girl on 2750 Russellville Rd Shell. She sold me 5 gifts cards and activated in seconds. Thanks.

If you like working hard for minimum wage and getting $0.10 yearly raises then this is the company for you. I had a really goid job, one that I really liked until Houtchens bought them out - Houtchens Industries is a Billion Dollar A Year Company that doesn't give a damn about their employees or their families. So if you want to make the rich get richer go work for them and go trade in their stores.

The 802 shell station is not a friendly place the workers are very rude and disrespectful and you have to wait in long lines and the workers go out back get high. But they only got one good worker
