The little setup they have in the front of the hotel I guess you'd have to call it a bar has some of the worst acoustics I've ever had the mis fortune of hearing
Although the band that had been playing was exquisite

They advertise free parking and this hotel as a resort. On third party sites they list this as a 4-star hotel. This is more like an upscale motel rather than a hotel. By no means is this a resort. Pool was closed for construction and the restaurant is closed for business. When you arrive and try to park there goes your free parking . $16 a night!! False advertising! Then they try to tell you that the free parking is included in the resort fee they are waiving because all the resort amenities you believed to be there when you booked are all unavailable. Free is supposed to be FREE! Talk about transparency and a way to start your arrival at this should be rated 2-star hotel. The staff was friendly but the manager on duty on 9/28 wanted me to get heated and argumentative about the parking, fake resort and false advertising. Great location but book elsewhere!

It was a very nice room. Great space and nice bath tub. The pool was also nice and clean. The only problem we had was the alarm ringing at 1am or so. My girlfriend is a light sleeper. So, that ruined her stay.

Love the little touches of the hotel, it's like an art gallery with lots of fabulous pieces across the hotel property. We had the honor of staying in "Mark's room" which is the designer's favorite in the hotel. Loved every moment there.

Really sweet spot. Right in the middle of downtown Palm Springs. Lots of shops, bars, and restaurants near by. As for the hotel, great friendly staff, pretty cool memorabilia, clean on the inside and out. I recommend staying here.

We had a great time, went as a couple. Our room was excellent. Clean, large and huge patio with direct access to the pool. Loud bumpin music. Which we love. So if you want spa music or are offended by cuss words in music. Choose Avalon or another chill resort.
We laid out, got a killer tan, drank some good drinks, not over crowded, onsite night club. Walking distance to downtown. Locatiok is prime
Had a great weekend, and the price was excellent. Not a place for kids which since we left the kids at home, was aokay with us.

Very nice place, but seems a little dated. Very convenient to everything. If you've never been to PS, everything is only 2- 4 blocks easy walk away. Rooms, restaurant, and lobby are very clean. Bathrooms are ere nice and roomy.

This was the WORST hotel service I have ever had. ...

This was the WORST hotel service I have ever had. I have stayed at many hotels and never experienced service as bad as the Hard Rock at Palm Springs. First, we arrived early and checked in at the front desk. They said they should have are room ready by noon. We went to the pool and found that there was trash and plastic cups all around the pool area. The pool water was foggy and dirty looking. We ordered blended drinks from a waiter. We waited about 30 minutes for him to come back and tell us that they DO NOT have a blender. Really? So we tried ordering other drinks and he said they didn't have gentlemen jack, remmie martin, patron, grey goose, single barrel.... What do you have!? They were out of everything! Some friends we met at the pool went up to their room only to find people sleeping when they opened their door. Ridiculous!! We went to the front desk at 12 for our room and they said to come back at 2. We came back at 2 they said to come back at 4. WTF! When we finally got our room it was NOT a pool view like we booked. There was a small fridge but you could not use it because it was full of their bar drinks. There were TONS of students running and yelling through the halls all through the night. They were obscenely drunk and belligerent and most likely under age. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It is HORRIBLY managed and under staff. They were not prepared for a regular weekend at all. I will never stay here again.

Horrible hospitality! I would give no stars if it was an option. Hotel is owned by Hard Rock and I have complained to their corporate about the customer service we had here. There are tons of other hotels around town, please do yourself a favor and find another one.

I've been a photographer for the past 5 years and let me tell you this. Every time I come to the hard rock for an event, or even just to drop by. It has been a just sensational and memorable experience. The place attracts just the best kinds of personalities and you'll always rock your night away if you're up to not be a creep and respect your fellow human.

We didn't have a room here, so just talking about the bar- We went in to use the bathroom and stayed because we liked the band playing. Some people were very dressed up, some were in jeans and a t-shirt. I liked that it didn't matter. But it feels a little weird just being in the middle of the hotel lobby, it's not really set up for dancing, and my drink (a Jack & coke) cost $10.

I booked a stay at the Hard Rock at the end of March 2018. Prior to arriving, I called and modified the dates; I received an email confirming the modification. When I arrived at the hotel a few days later, I had no reservation because the hotel listed me as a "no show" after not appearing on the "original dates." I had to produce the confirmation email to prove that I had a reservation. After waiting for 3 hours for a room to be available, I was finally provided with a room. After leaving the hotel, I noticed a double billing on my credit card - one for the original reservation and one for the days I actually stayed at the hotel. I notified the hotel immediately of the double billing, it was confirmed by their representative and I was told I would receive a refund for the erroneous billing. It has been almost 2 months and I am still waiting for the refund. I am now having to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Will never stay at one of these hotels again.

Our experience at the nightclub at the Hard Rock was great. It was now amazing but it was definitely a fun night. The drinks were surprisingly cheap. And the music had a lot of variety. Although the bar was always wet and drink were spilled throughout. I don't know if there are better alternatives in Palm Springs.

Formerly Hard Rock hotel it is still same footprint with new management with Latin flare. Love any steak house one can dress down for. Walk to anything or take free shuttles. Realize please this is heart of Palm Springs so when in Rome.......... Perfect location to nature or art scene or culinary delight.

Hotel staff was very friendly, fast, and accommodating to several hundred people for a convention. Valet parking was very prompt at taking and returning the car. Wait staff at the restaurant was also very friendly and provided great food suggestions based on our tables needs. Overall a great experience, I would return.

Conveniently located in the heart of Palm Springs, walking distance from alot of restaurants and bars. LGBT friendly. Free shuttle to and from the airport. Very close to airport (10-15 min ride). The rooms and hotel was outdated. Pool and music on the weekend was fun. The food in the hotel was just alright. Would give it a 3.5 if I could.

Not meaning to be cutting, but it's the remains of what was a very hip and historical hotel. Today, the rooms as well as public areas, need a refresh. Was there for IBC event, and on a weekend with hundreds of men moving around the floors, there was only one lobby elevator working. Ice machines broken on some floors. Positive: Very clean, great staff and beds; room amenities are very good.

The pool was okay not too much pizazz about it, the hot tub was not working. The food was very delicious inside Simon's, the sangria was also good!! Happy Hour is the way to go!! The drinks otherwise are too pricey.

Absolutely awful. Rules, restrictions, regulations over the top. Don't even touch the mini bar for fear of automatic 55$ charge. Don't park your own car. Valet only. Wait time 20 minutes. Don't date swim-bracelet required. Stay at a a cost effective place and feel free. This hotel is not for the "Hard Rick" generation.

Nice hotel. Room and bathroom very clean. I wish the front was more visible I had a difficult time finding the entrance. Also as I and others felt it would've been if they had the outer entrances unlocked for the cue conference but otherwise an enjoyable stay

It's ok, it pails in comparison to the Las Vegas location. Not much memorabilia to write home about. Rooms decent for a hard rock. Mini bar and snack bar was empty...Don't they want to overcharge me for a snickers bar?

Absaloutley horrendous expierence! We checked in for two nights to enjoy our honeymoon. We had high hopes considering all the great things we had heard about Palm Springs but this place left us disgusted and dissapointed. Our sink was clogged and the bathroom amenities had been used!!! We noticed this when my husband tried taking a shower the next morning and the shower gel bottle was already half used! Best of all we found a small amount of dry blood on the back of the bathroom door. The hallways literally wrecked of what smelled like weed and feet. We bought this to the mangers attention and she was anything but sympathetic. She said she would refund the resort fee. Gee thanks. Not once did she offer us a room change. So needless to say we checked out a day early and headed back home to Las Vegas where hotels understand the importance of customer service and cleanliness. This experience has sadly ruined any hopes of staying at other Hard Rock hotels, which is dissapointing because it's a Hotel we once used to enjoy.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is in an excellent location in terms of proximity to night life. However, the website advertised a mini fridge in the room and when we arrived we were told it's a $35 fee to have a fridge brought up as they are not included in the rooms. The "fridge" that they brought up was a VERY small red bull fridge from behind the bar. There was no freezer in said fridge and, as a breastfeeding mother, one of the draws to the hotel was a mini fridge in the room. There are also not microwaves in the rooms (not a big deal for us though). The hotel manager told me that she had a freezer she could put the milk in (after 2 days and 3 employees), but 24 hours later only 5 of 19 bags were frozen. We stayed for 4 days and I ended up have to throw away 76 ounces of breastmilk as I could not freeze them. Also, the pool is currently closed for renovations, so don't count on swimming there. I am very disappointed with the false advertising and as such will not be staying here again.

3 months later my debit card got charged? The unprofessionalism is unreal. The accounting team for this unprofessional, unorganized, rude company left the front staff clueless and to deal with the wrath of people like me. Get your logistics together and don t make people wait the weekend to be able to speak to anyone that can actually solve this problem. You would think that for a business you would have something like money figured out. Get it together.

Not sure who is running the kitchen at Hotel Zoso but they need a sanity check. The food and service at the hotel just continues to circle the drain. Last night I was charged nearly 40 dollars for 3 chicken tacos and a very small plate of chicken tenders and fries. With no sauce for anything. That order took nearlyn30 minutes to arrive and it was a joke. Zoso fix your damn kitchen and stop overcharging for junk.

I came here in March with a friend for a break from the city. We are in our 40s and not big partiers. I'd rate this place EXCELLENT in terms of location and comfort. Excellent access to shops and hiking, restaurants. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. We had a room with a patio, which was great. Clearly this was once a nice hotel, but it's a bit tired. I heard it used to be a Hard Rock Cafe up until 2018. I'd rate this place POOR in terms of on-site food. The restaurant was not open for dinner and was a frozen food service sort of place (i.e., chicken fingers - not homemade stuff). There also wasn't much of a pool "scene", although the pool is nice enough and has a walk up bar (and very friendly bar staff). I really want this place to pull it together - great location, nice staff, cool decor (although a bit tired) - all they need is a celebrity chef as a good draw!
