Hotel Vignemale Reviews

Beginning of the walk in Gavarnie, we had the misfortune of crossing a "private" bridge on foot !!! At the hotel club of Gavarnie le vignemale as seen on their website, we were verbally attacked by the parking attendant so let's come take a look, still thinking that it was a Hotel as indicated on their website, I called at the hotel for information and it was worse than the parking attendant !!!! So I would choose another place to stay with probably more polite and friendly people.

Charming staff, great service and a breathtaking view. The hiking trails in the surrounding area are spectacular.

owner Lydia is very friendly with great service and attitude. one of the best views i have seen in the world! some of other reviewers do not seem to have stayed here.

Normally i would give no Star, but nothing isn t possible.
I want to ask the Hotel for a room, but this totally angry and unfriendly women, which tried to hit me (!!!) didn t allowed me to come in.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are dated and tired, but it is so close to where you want to be that the age of the building doesn't matter. Walking distance to nearby restaurants and breakfast at the hotel was great. Fresh made croissants made by the staff.

We went on a horseback ride in Gavarnie, very friendly and kind owners ade independent ride for riders with a little bit of luggage, even for beginners the horses know the hike, the views are magnificent ! Do not hesitate to go there ! You will not be disappointed

Unpleasant staff, I had lost my dog who had crossed the bridge and someone "responsible for the bridge" made me understand that I was not allowed to cross this bridge. It looked like I was crossing a border. Thank you, I found my dog when your back was turned.
