Very nice hotel. We had the tower suite. This is really worth a night's stay.
I saved up for it and every cent is worth it.
A sauna and jacuzzi in your own room. The restaurant is also worth a visit.
Fine restaurant, delicious varied seasonal menu that can be adapted to all wishes. The staff is relatively young, but has a very professional attitude. It is great to stay both inside and on the terrace.
Adjacent to the hotel is a (public) swimming pool for both guests and local residents. Swimming pool is always tested water and therefore safe swimming without blue algae. The disadvantage of being in the public domain is the mess that the youngsters leave behind after an evening at the beach. However, van der valk personnel does keep a close eye on supervision and speaks to the responsible parties about this. A thankless task, but also a very important one for the preservation of the beach.

I went there for a work related meeting. We sad down in the bar which had great service including a good lunch. The personel is kind and the entourage looks great.
Very nice and tasty. Only the proportions of the creme brulee were not good (one got a full one and the other only bottom).

Van der Valk Hotel Wolvega guarantees a pleasant stay. Clean, comfortable rooms with balcony and bathroom with bath and shower. Nice personel and good food.

Fine, spacious, clean hotel that feels a bit dated, especially due to the carpet. Excellent very spacious room and bathroom.
Points for improvement: there is no soap dish or tray in the shower and no tissues. The TV only has a few HD channels and all channels are mixed and far apart.
Restaurant: fine. Very good breakfast. Very friendly staff everywhere.

The hotels are no longer what they used to be. They are TOP. Good restaurants, nice rooms and very good breakfasts. Wolvega is no exception. Just good. One drawback: tongue picasso without banana and ginger. Very good for the rest.

Was nice and cool despite heat of 30 gr outside and lunch card fish fillet was still allowed at 7 pm .. Class .. Delicious eaten for 12 euros.

Nice place, limited bathroom with no shower head in the bath or place to put your soap in the shower. Coffee maker in combination with hot water for tea. The tea unfortunately tastes like coffee.
Food was a bit disappointing, but probably a quest of taste

It was really a top hotel food was good and nice dinner and breakfast. Only the rooms smelled a bit musty and some doors didn't close properly, but the bed was really nice and soft and a good working air conditioning. Everything else was really great! Had a very nice weekend here
