One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. The rooms are amazing with views of the mountain. The food was spectacular. The excursions were supreme. All inclusive. Definitely want to go back.

Had an amazing stay in this gorgeous and beautifully decorated hotel! Stayed for a few nights, having lunch and dinner at their wonderful restaurant. Also did tours and enjoyed the spa - massages and pools. The staff was really friendly and caring.

A wonderful hotel integrated in the nature. Room simply furnished. But with this nature and the nice, attentive staff you need nothing else. This is an incredible facility. The rooms are easily some of the best I ve stayed in. The view of Licankabur is unparalleled. The food on the all inclusive package is great (some of the best vegetarian dishes we had the entire trip - not to knock down the meat at the place which was also pretty good). The hotel staff are very friendly and try their best to accommodate all requests even when there is a language barrier. We generally felt the training the guides receive could be slightly improved. Nevertheless, the experience was impeccable over all. To end on a quick tip, we did feel the hotel staff underplayed how nice a quick trip to San Pedro could be from the hotel.

This past February we were booked for a 5 night stay at Tierra Atacama. Upon arriving we were informed by the Hotel that the Federal Government had shut down all national parks and the roads in and out of town due to flooding following the biggest rainfall even 75 years. The hotel was wonderful in organizing in-house events and tastings to keep us occupied. Needless to say the food and bar offerings were top flight, the staff accommodating and quarters clean and comfortable. The grounds were immaculate and views stunning (when we could see them through the breaking clouds). To top it off, the hotel gave us a 50% refund as we were not able to do most of the activities we had planned on when booking the trip. We plan on returning to the Tierra Atacama in the near future to do all the things we wanted to do but couldn't. i hear June is a great time to see the stars.

Fantastic excursions and staff who really know how to look after their clients. Amazing landscape and the hotel is well set up to cater for those who like creature comforts and the outdoors. Hot springs, hiking up a volcano (you need to be there for a few days to do this), hiking through some amazing landscapes and then home to a great meal (would suggest you ask for the alternative menu every now and then - the meals are a little less full-on).

My trip to the Atacama Desert was a real dream, and much to the comfort, organization and structure of Tierra Atacama, that more than offering a service, takes care of each guest. The hotel eliminated all my concerns and made me feel safe regarding transfers, tour packages and food - it's all included. Accommodations are impeccable, super well decorated, first class cuisine, tours set up by a concierge according to your preferences and profile, staff of multilingual guides who give you true lessons about the region, prepared and attentive staff, and concern for details (up to sunscreen and bottle of water are given to you). I really enjoyed the week I spent in Tierra Atacama. The tours are very good and the environment very beautiful (with a highlight to the beautiful view of the Licancabur volcano). But honestly? I expected more for the price I paid.
Upon arriving in the room, I found some stained bath towels, holes in the covers of the bed and other things that were in an "any" hotel would not matter at all, but for the price SALVADO of the hotel, they could not pass up.
Spectacular views towards the desert and the volcanoes. Very good cuisine and a unique outdoor pool in the middle of the driest landscape on the planet.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Tierra Atacama. The excursions were good, the guides friendly, the decor attractive.
Unfortunately the food and the service were not as good as I would expect from a property of this level. The staff at reception, bar and restaurant do not seem to show much interest in the guests.
The food was good at times, but always served cold, which I can t really justify. The selection of wines that are included in the package is very basic, as they are the cheap, high yield wines made by some well reputable Chilean wineries.

Great all inclusive hotel. The restaurant is excellent. The excursions are usually done with groups of 6 persons or less. And the guides are very knowledgeable.
Top rating in everything, exceeded expectations. Special treatment from reception to check out, all are very attentive. Nice atmosphere, clean and with an amazing view of the Licancabur. Rooms are comfortable with excellent shower. Spectacular gastronomy too, from breakfast to dinner.
