The entire facility is beautiful, and the staff was amazing. The food was great too. Breakfast was almost overwhelming with the amount of variety. There wasn't a single thing I would have changed.

Luxury hotel in the heart of New Delhi. Great team, Diraj the room boy remembered my choice of having more drinking water in my room though I came back to the hotel after 6 months. Joseph at the coffee shop is no less than a personal chef, he knows the choice of a guest he has served earlier. And all of them carry a great smile. Always a favourite hotel to come back to.

I had dinner at the Spice Route in Imperial Hotel. The food was excellent. We had vegetarian fare, a mix of Indian and Thai cuisine. The deserts were out of this world. Service was courteous and attentive. The interiors of tiled roofs and woodwork reminiscint of Kerala architecture and the muted painted walls are soothing. It's a bit dark inside and I had a little trouble reading the menu.

As the name suggests the exteriors of this hotel resemble imperial era gone by and still reminds us the old imperial goodness. The amazing interior starting from the porch and their courteous service with welcoming hand folded staff is out of the world. Their cookies are to die for. A Must Visit Place.

The food in the breakfast was ordinary. Limited spread and nothing delicious. The plumbing in the room wasn't working and it took them an hour to fix my wifi. Disappointed after all that I've heard about them.

We just went for lunch there for the first time and This place is really classy. I loved the ambience and the food here. We ordered Dahi ke kebab, Watermelon Juice, Mutton curry, butter chicken and naan. Amazing food quality and specially Mutton Rogan Ghosht curry was exceptionally delicious but they do not provide any salad with lunch (it's paid). I might visit this place again for their amazing buffet which looked so tempting.
FYI - It was about 6000 bucks for 4 people.

This breathtaking property - I would call it the Temple of heritage and history - comes along with a overwhelming portion of style and beauty. To come to Delhi and not stay here is a sacrilege. You will miss a lot!

Certainly, the most delightful and impressive hotel in Delhi with his colonial-era nostalgia and elegance rattan furniture, wheeling fans, vintage photographs, original period art, black-and-white marble floors and most dedicated employees in period uniform this is what you are looking for.

I arrived from Kerala around midnight and caught myself in the morning walking around the empty hall ways of the hotel with a glass of red wine looking at all those marvelous walls - covered with photographs and artworks that capture the city s imperial era. What a delight. The eye has to travel here- and you will not get bored a second cause thousands of little details wait to be unveiled. Behind every hotel is the person with the taste I was honored to run into her one day! Ms. Satbir Kaur Sandhu is the master of the interior and ceremony here. She has curated over decades the unique and remarkable image of this breathtaking hotel! The walk with her through the presidential suite was my personal highlight of the visit in Delhi!
Deceptively large with 235 rooms featuring all the amenities you expect from a five-star hotel, from pillow menus to quiet air-conditioning, you will not miss a thing here. If you can go for the wonderful and spacious Heritage room.

Facilities are excellent we loved the wonderful deep pool and a squash court. The spa here is a real highlight the perfect way to rid yourself of long-haul fatigue, it offers Ayurvedic treatments along with a more traditional menu. The beauty of architecture, art and tranquility melts into something you ve not seen or experienced before.

There are four restaurants: all-day dining at multi-cuisine. The breakfast here comprises an enormous buffet and a few made-to-order hot items offering both Western and Indian cuisine. I had my best Sambhar (south Indian soup) here at breakfast and there was no morning we have not called the chef to the table to express our gratitude about the most fantastic quality of the food.

The Spice Route became from that day on my favorite restaurant in the world! It is a journey back in time and all your senses will be bewitched here!
Aside from sampling the wide array of cuisines from the country (including coconut-based and seafood dishes from Kerala and the Malabar Coast) there are offerings from Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. We been to a few other amazing restaurants in Delhi on our 8 day visit not one of them came close to The Spice Route!

Early evening drinks are best imbibed in the colonnaded veranda so comfortable to sit and to enjoy the people coming for a drink.
The Imperial has inhaled over centuries the meaning of outstanding service and hospitality. Extremely well managed you feel that each of the employees has only one goal; to make your stay as most comfortable as possible. The Imperial is a left over in his purest form in this fast and superficial world. The Imperial is what means traveling in STYLE. The Imperial knows how to play the strings of the golden harp of hospitality.
The Imperial stands for a high standard only a few worldwide can archive.
I fell in love with this hotel and know you will as well dear traveler. The Imperial is for all who are a side from mainstream look for the ultimate und true experience.
It is the place with a soul!
