Excellent location, old club feel, but felt a lot lacking in services. Problems with reservations, booked a 3-seater room, got a 2-seater instead with an extra bed.

Room was in the new wing, awkwardly located, room not well lit.

Excellent hotel, great potential but my experience feel short of good.

It is one of the oldest hotels in Delhi. The structure of the building is very colonial. A small boutique property with three fantastic speciality restaurants. The only thing that is average about this property is its coffee shop. The food , presentation and display everything at their coffee shop is average.

Nice hotel in a good location in Delhi. Staff very friendly and keen to look after you. Our room was massive although some parts of the hotel seem a bit dated. The main restaurant is cramped and not easy to get around when busy.

Classic building with some old world charm. The service was hit and miss, definitely not at the level enjoyed elsewhere throughout India. For example, requested a car for an early AM pickup, only to discover that they had forgotten to request it. Later called them to inquire about something which I had forgot in the room after checking out, I was told they would call me back, but no call.

Claridges enjoys a very strategic location in lutyens New Delhi. Sitting on junction of APJ Abdul Kalam road and Tees January road, stone's throw from north and south block - corridors of powers, tony shopping districts of defence colony, south extension and cannaught place. Epicurean delight - Khan market and bengali market. What else can a hotel want to be popular amongst its patron. On top an elegant British era architecture, complemented with good service and good food. Off course the stay is comfortable and luxurious, at times it gets noisy as lots of traffic around. For those who want to see Delhi from the eyes of a local, race course Metro station is 10 minutes walking distance. Expensive to stay and dine.

Excellent hotel, but there is a night duty manager by the name of Supreet, she is extremely rude and raises her voice in front of the customers.

Request you to seriously look into her behaviour and consider appropriate action. Doesn t sit well with the tone of the hotel.

I am writing as I don t want such a strong hotel s reputation to go haywire with irresponsible people.

Please take care.

We were given a room which we loved in the beginning but soon it turned out to be one where we could hear the sound of the adjacent room's water supply. Absolutely shocking. We were upgraded to a different room which was part of the renovated section and was bigger, had modern amenities though also came with some mosquitoes and some weird sounds in the morning to wake us up. A great hotel potentially being let down by some of these things.
The swimming pool is good and well maintained. Indoors are regal and the decor classy. But that's it.
Breakfast was a let down. The spread doesn't do justice to the price tag.
