In short, as a rule both as local (under a veranda) and for products ... Prices expensive for the service and the products served ... you pay the position on the lake ...

I didn t spend a night here but had my dinner here with the great view. Staff are friendly but during the busy hours they are way too busy to serve in a timely manner. In the end will need to go to the counter yourself. Pizza was ok, mainly is for the view. Price is reasonable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. At first a little skeptical about bringing a baby. But everything turned out fine. The staff loved our baby. The rooms are good and the location in Bellagio is great.
Breakfast was okay keeping the low quality of bread throughout Italy in mind. The scrambled eggs was the best ever tasted at a breakfast buffet. Silk and creamy.

This hotel is a nice enough place at a good value. Unfussy in the description is totally accurate. It s clean, old-world European (meaning hard beds), in a great spot in Bellagio. Right by the ferry terminals! The staff are nice and attentive. The included breakfast is a nice perk.

Many rooms have good views - mine was decent - photo is of mine with a side view to Lake Como.

Though, the WiFi is useless, and I m not sure what they are referring to here by Free Parking , as there doesn t appear to be any hotel parking, and parking nearby is quite scarce.

Nice touristey spot to get a meal, beware bees though.

We had lunch here while wating for the boat to take us to Lenno. Good service, really quick! Great food and desserts too! Reasonably priced. Best part is the breathtaking view of the lake!

A bit expensive for the standard ... But beautiful sea view

We have a superb lunch here with our 6 month old baby. The waiters were very attentive, the food was tasty and the view was spectacular. Highly recommend eating on the lower terrace and trying their ice cream!

We had a spacious room back to the beautiful garden and swimming pool, nice and cool!

Pros: Great location in the heart of Bellagio with a very nice pool area.

Cons: Internet only worked intermittently in the lobby area and not at all in our room. Staff made no attempts to fix it and were generally not the most helpful or friendly. At breakfast staff seem overwhelmed perhaps because breakfast is only for 2 hours between 7:30-9:30.

Staff supercilious, prices extortionate. Go somewhere else!

Experience to be repeated both for the quality of the services offered and for the very happy location .. high prices

A nice hotel at the beginning of Bellagio worth stopping by even just for a coffee to be taken in the garden along the lake in front of the structure.

But bathroom too small to fit two. The breakfast room is nice and we ate quite well.

Great location. Nice view of the lake and restaurants. Waking up to such a place is a privilege accessible to few. Nights are not expensive as long as you find a room available.

Very nice historic hotel with soul. Super tidy and clean rooms, super view on the lake, wooden floors. Excellent garden with swimming pool. Mediterranean breakfast is served without vegetables witch is a little bit not satisfying. Coffee from machine is poor and unacceptable in Italy. Service staff is helpful especially in restaurant. Finding a free parking place is a little problem as close to hotel parking is not free of charge. I can recommend staying in this hotel.

Would not stay again
1st we got stuck in the elevator twice left my wife traumatized. Had to walk the stairs many time after. Staff were friendly enough but a older bigger women on the front desk was rude and abused staff in front of guessed. Wi fi did not work in our room we were told it should but no luck. Other wise good location nice food . Amazing time spent .

Really nice hotel. We stayed in a room with lake view, although the rooms are a bit dated, they are clean and have fantastic views. Meals are nice and the staff are so helpful.

Stayed here 2 nights .Rooms very basic nothing special limited in room products no mini bar.Bathrooms small .Hotel in need of major upgrade. Dinner meal below average and choices limited and seems strange you need to put your food order in night before, I wonder if owners have ever sat an ate a meal in there so called restaurant.Very dissapointed staff don't seem to care asked for our outside blind to be looked at as it didnt wind down properly still waiting. Wouldn't recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Historic hotel in Bellagio, good value for money ..

Dunno, sat on the kerb next door. Nice folk. Hard ground. Good a-drinkin'.

The hotel is tired and desperately needs updating. The mattress on the beds were 30+ years old and springs dug into our backs. We couldn't sleep a wink and when we politely asked to change rooms to a newer mattress the manager was absolutely rude, was incredibly difficult and suggested we both had a back problem. We were moved into an equally poor room (after much huff and puff) this time with a "view" to the back of the building. It was an awful experience, I strongly suggest to stay somewhere else.

Good service, alert staff and perfectly okay burgers. The wife was happy with her pasta tagliatelle ragu.

Reviewing the resto-cafe: Amazing views from this place. Located on the lake front which gives you mesmerizing views. It has good food and very good ice cream. Service was of high quality as well.

Absolutely breathtaking architecture and grounds. Unfortunately wifi is very unreliable unless you are in the lobby. Not a deal breaker but worth noting. Location doesn't get any better!

Great view of the lake and very pleasant staff working the bar. We had beer, wine and potato chips. All enjoyable overlooking the lake. The lower part right on the lake didn't open until 4:30pm so we were a little bit too early for that :)

Very nice hotel. Breakfast is very good. My only negative comment is that the hotel management does not let you control that air conditioning in the room. So, you must ask them to turn it on and then you have no temperature control. You freeze until about 2 a.m. and then sweat till 6 a.m. when it comes back on. We are adults!!! Treat us like them.

We stopped in here while on a walk around Bellagio and got 3 scoops of gelato. The flavors were very good and even though we were skeptical about the choice of peanut butter, it was actually really good.

Review about the Bar, worst service ever, waited 10mins for a Capuccino and a Coke, asked for the bill, the waitress said she will ask for the bill, waited another 15mins, 25mins in total for a Capuccino and a Coke.
P.S: the bar was quite empty.

AMAZING! Start to finish this hotel, staff and food was unbelievable. The staff made the stay just amazing! By far the best place to stay in the area! Thank you.

As a hotel I did not practice, as a bar in the garden, good ice cream but a little long in serving and a little confusion

Hotel with excellent position overlooking the lake, competent staff, comfortable rooms and all seasoned with a magical art nouveau atmosphere that smacks of exclusivity.

Really friendly and helpful staff. 200 TV channels - ALL in Italian So get a room with a view of the lake, it's better than any TV channel.

Excellent hotel to spend a week of happiness with the lover

Hotel located on the edge of Lake Como is very close to the center of Bellagio. The rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV and safe. For those arriving by car, the hotel has parking. It is easy to get by ferry-boat leaving Cadenabbia Good price / quality ratio.
