Amazing property and more importantly, amazing people. We've had a great experience and would definitely repeat.
The hotel restaurant by the pool is excellent as well. One of a kind property. Great location too.

Perfect in every way. Protected from the craziness of Amalfi, but just a 10-minute walk from town. Beautifully maintained, great shower, delicious food, and a private sun deck so you can jump right into the sea. We went in high summer, but would live to return in May-June or Sept-Oct when the area becomes a little more low key.

Truly a five star hotel experience. Expect to pay top dollar though. Breakfast was actually my favorite with freshly made breads and rolls, Italian meats, omelette station, fresh fruits, etc. service not to be matched.

I have had the privilege to stay at some of the finest and most exquisite hotels around the world, but whenever asked which is my favorite I frequently reply that the Santa Caterina in Amalfi is, if not my top choice, one of my all time favorites. You know you have arrived at most special place once you set foot on the property. From it's enviable location perched high on the cliffs directly over the Mediterranean, everything about the hotel experience is world class. The rooms are amazingly appointed with unrivaled views overlooking the sea that simply cannot be beat. Service throughout the hotel caters to every whim with discretion and impeccable detail, from room service to the Amalfi-version of a continental breakfast. Of course the piece de resistance is the private beach area which sits stories below the hotel. The beach area allows one to swim in the Mediterranean or the salt water pool carved out of the rocks of the cliff side, to soak up the sun rays from dawn to dusk with drink and food service at your disposal the entire day. Frankly, once you check into the hotel there is very little reason to leave (unless you wish to take in the local sites), and check out time always comes with feeling of sadness that you are leaving paradise and heading back to reality.

This place is unreal.. very private, stroll through lemon gardens, endless panorama views of the ocean and city of Amalfi. If you are coming to Amalfi - this is the place to stay. Excellent food, service and a true luxury experience. Included breakfast ( a Michelin star spread) and private shuttle every 30 mins to town. I will return again soon.

This is a top hotel with the nicest and most helpful staff imaginable. Having been to hotels in about 90 countries this is undoubtedly the best. Rooms are in beautiful condition and the dining is fantastic. Two excellent restaurants plus poolside bar/light meals. They are always willing to do special things for you, such as a custom 10 course meal for my wife's 70th anniversary. For those who cannot stand the heat, the region can be hot or too hot in mid summer, but early autumn is a delight because the sea (private pool area / sea front) is still warm for swimming - though there is a small rain risk.
