My wife and I are currently staying there now. We are ghosts enthusiasts not hunters and with a little curiosity and the right tools the ghost do deliver and answer back! The owner of the hotel gave us quite an amazing introduction of the place and if you ask nicely he just might play you a tune on the piano right before he disappears. Enjoy your stay!I know we are.
We had a wonderful experience staying at St. Nich's for 2 nights. The owner Brad gave us a verbal history of the hotel, complete with ghost stories and spooky pictures. it is a beautiful setting and we were treated so nicely!

This is a great place to spend the night especially if you want a little excitement. We didn't realize this was a haunted hotel until we checked in, but that made the stay even more intriguing.
The ownership is a very good host and the rooms are very spacious. We will definitely be back to stay there again.
Came here with my hubby for a few days and we felt like we were visiting a relatives house. We felt so welcomed here. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owner really made this an unforgettable experience. He is amazing! I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We were here for 3 days and really enjoyed getting to know other guests at the bar. So glad we found this hidden gem!
Best hotel experience we have ever had! The attention to detail in keeping with the old hospital theme was spot on! Take the time to notice all the small details, you won't be disappointed. Bill, the inn keeper , was always available for any thing we needed. He even entertained us in the living room. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!!! The hotel was super clean and everything was well kept and worked great. The spooky stories that go with the hotel made it an adventure!
What a fabulous place!! It felt more like home than a hotel. Very well maintained, clean, friendly, and beautiful!! It was almost out of a movie. The boiler room tavern was just amazing and the stories & history were interesting! I would recommend this place over any other place in Cripple Creek. Love it - Brett and Debbie.
Has interesting haunted history. The owner and his staff treated you like family. Very inviting. Cold, strong drinks and a lot of great conversation with the owner in their Boiler Room bar. Would HIGHLY recommend, NOT corporate owned but locally owned, and the hospitality shows !! 100% awesome !!

We stayed in room 7 and the bed was really comfortable. We loved the hotel and it s history. Brad the bartender was charismatic and really made our stay one to remember. If you can get him the play the piano for you in the parlor, you won t be disappointed.
