Hotel Radisson SAS Letterkenny Review

Have stayed before but we stayed here the bank holiday weekend. Slightly anxious as first hotel experience since Covid and one of our family is in the at risk. Had a great positive experience. Plenty of sanitizing stations and the hotel was spotless. Reception staff were lovely. Breakfast being a book in system is actually great regardless of Covid as it means the place isn't jammers and more relaxing and also probably benefits the staff and chefs cooking food. While the food is buffet style (and a very tasty one with the staff continually topping up) it felt safe as it was never crowded since the capacity is limited. Overall enjoyable positive experience.

Room was ok , clean ,reception staff were very good and helpful, food was just ok , was hungry so we had to eat, service in dining room poor inattentive , would NOT stay here again

All perfect except king size bed was actually two small doubles pushed together.

Stayed at the hotel for two nights, room was comfortable. Went to the hotel restaurant on our last night and found the meal that we ordered very disappointing. Chips were hard and the breaded fish was cold and limp. My husband's meal was a home made pizza which was oily and cold. When paying our bill we informed the staff of our how bad the meal was and the reply we received was, 'I am not surprised' and still had to pay full price, even after they apologised .Found the staff unwelcoming

Good size clean rooms with really large comfortable bed, staff friendly and breakfast was ok.

Food in the morning was a bit cold, room was nice. WiFi was a bit annoying, I tried to get more than one device to connect but was unable to do it. Coffee machine was impossible to work. Not entirely silent because of the road and very light machine whirring. If you have problems sleeping with very light noise it's not the best. Bed very comfy and big for a single bed, bathroom very nice. Dinner was nice and most things on the menu were reasonably priced.

Good location with decent sized beds with good water pressure.

We loved this hotel. Friendly welcome and speedy check in, room was very well appointed and cosy, with adjustable temperature control. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, with loads of hot and cold food to choose from. We dined in the restaurant in the evening, service was great and the food choice was excellent - particularly good for vegans and vegetarians. And good value too. Will certainly return when we next visit Letterkenny.

Not 4 star hotel. Breakfast was disappointed. Specialy pancake for my daughter was not fresh

Excellent hotel in line with the standard of the chain. Large room with all facilities, huge parking, good restaurant at acceptable prices. Friendly and courteous staff. To go downtown you can do the "normal" tour going out towards the road (longer), or cross the parking lot and cut towards the back directly towards the center (shorter). Great. Will always love the Radisson Letterkenny...had my wedding here! Lovely surroundings, staff and service, for lunch/dinner, or a quiet coffee/drink.

A very miserable looking place, decor is cold, the hotel screams out to be relocated as its situated in a hole with no view only of a road and shopping units wouldn't be ideal for tourists on there first visit to Letterkenny, ideal for people on business and the rowdy night club goer. Can't fault the staff in anyway.

We have been going to the raddison from it first opened it has just got better back again just as good

On general good hotel but as always I believe the prices in Ireland are overrated for the services you get.

- restaurant staff not so friendly and professional

The showers are made for leprechauns and the King size beds are two twins strapped together.

Clean, comfortable and decent parking.

Not an inspiring part of town but it's only a short walk up to the restaurants.

Staff and everything about Hotel nothing can be Faulted defenetly will return.

Have to say I was well surprised by this hotel. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, good food and great selection of drinks. Highly recommended

Staff friendly, even though at times they seem a bit shorthanded.
Rooms nice, large and clean but do need need a bit of TLC.

WiFi while not great, more than decent to get a bit of work done. Only downside is that ethernet ports did not work in the last 4 rooms I stayed here.

Food down at the bar is ok. If your tired after a long day, definitely go down for some food. Otherwise if you have the energy to walk 5 mins to town center, better food is available.

Great service

I spent one weekend night there and it was lovely. Using pool and sauna during the afternoon. The room was clean and fresh. Lovely bed and all the hotel is chic and modern. The breakfast is standard, I found everything that I wanna. The staffs were friendly and helped me to book a taxi for my day trip there and give nice local tips. I high recommend it.

Best hotel we have stayed at on our tour thru the UK and Ireland. Great beds, decent shower and great bar.

The room will never disappointed you, the food are class, I asked for middle rare steak, seared with 50% red in centre, just pass the point of the perfect steak. They are top class, well done Chef, the staff are very friendly, love the place.

Room was nice but the view was awful and there was a hospital smell in the room

Giving wrong price on booking manager told me there's no way I was giving that price so apperentially I'm a lier, rooms are freezing and basic. Won't ever return just from my first impression with the management so disappointed as I needed this break and it left me broke and more stressed than I went

Foods beautiful and staff lovely. We've had a couple of meals there now and would definitely recommend it.

Its claim to fame would be how close it is to all the major shops- across the street. It was comfortable and clean

Donegal Business Network have used the Radisson Blu for the past three years and Jonathon like all the staff are very professional and accommodating. MeanIT regularly use the meeting rooms and encourage clients to stay in the hotel when visiting Donegal as we are confident they will be looked after.

I have being using the Radisson now for over 10 years and have always found it be top of the class for comfort, food and hospitably. In Letterkenny there is no better place to have a meeting, big or small. FYI their coffee is just about perfect as well.

Great weekend here in June. The rooms are very good and the food was fabulous. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Letterkenny
