Fantastic location, good food, small portions, little choice

A good example of a bad example. When we arrived at the terrace around 4pm, we ordered 3 ice cream parlors and asked to clean the table. The waiter pointed out that the dirt from the trees fell, then I asked him if even salt and sugar from the tree fall. When we got Eiscafe, we were not astonished because it was more of a Coupe Denmark, but it was good. Then we asked for the bill: 3 x 13 francs, I gave 40. The waiter cashed in, said goodbye and wished us a nice day. I call him and asked if 39 = 40. A place that should absolutely be avoided!

Quiet location, rooms clean and renovated, staff very nice and accommodating, great view of the lake, breakfast with mediocre selection - buffet, fresh fruit, restaurant with attached to hotel on the other side - raised kitchen not overly expensive and very good

Nicely located hotel on the upper lake, street in front of the hotel is a 30 zone, little traffic.
Can only rate the single room here.
It's a shame that there is no air conditioning in the house, so you want to leave the balcony door open overnight, that wouldn't be a problem if people on both sides weren't sitting on the balcony late in the evening and smoking. The shower also takes a bit of getting used to, on the hot water setting only cold water comes for 2-3 minutes and then gets hot very quickly, the jet is also somewhat without power.
Breakfast buffet is mediocre From a European point of view, but good by Swiss standards.
Service staff is friendly and helpful

A beautiful and relaxing place with excellent service, delicious food right on the lake, first class rooms and nice staff. We have been here before and we will definitely come back.

nice place to sit by the lake, peaceful. being going here for years , but this year the service I found is not so good, slow, coffee slopped into the saucer. Even the seats out side has only a metal bar to support your back. Gave it 3 stars though for the view.

The hotel was a solid 3 star hotel in a very quiet environment, decent enough well cleaned rooms and friendly staff. Keeping the balcony door open during the night is no problem (no noise + mosquito net). But I especially enjoyed the restaurant, which specializes in fish. Great food, great service, great view of the lake and prices are very reasonable compared to the normal Swiss restaurant/hotel prices.

The restaurant might even be worth the walk across the lake from Rapperswil over the pedestrian brigde, which is not a common thing for hotel restaurants.

The location and the tranquility of the hotel we really liked. The food in the restaurant is delicious and especially the location on the lake just great. The staff is very friendly. We felt very comfortable and look forward to the next stay in the hotel.

The hotel would really need a touch of youth and modernity. The hotel's lakeside restaurant offers splendid views and tasty cuisine.

A very nice place to relax, very hidden lake access to cool off, excellent cuisine in the restaurant! We enjoyed our stay very much and slept very well in the comfortable beds, first class service also at the reception! We were certainly not the last time there!

A nice little hotel, nice clean rooms and a very nice staff ... but unfortunately a catastrophic bedding. The mattress was deformed but especially the pillows are so thick that they are absolutely useless.
So everyone sleeps with the cushions of the room, which are not cleaned ... it's not great.
A hotel is made to sleep ... and it was a long time since we had not slept so badly (in addition it was very very hot, the rooms are not air-conditioned).
In short, we will not come back, and I regret it because in time, the bedding was perfect.

The location of the restaurant is excellent, right on the Upper Lake Zurich. The outdoor seating offers a magnificent view of the lake. The most important thing, the food, was outstanding. Especially recommended are all fish variations. The service was very attentive and friendly.

Price performance is not right! We waited 5 minutes until someone came and assigned us our table! We have reserved for the restaurant on the lake, was also confirmed. We did not eat there ??? Chnusperli costs CHF 40.- and there are 4 pieces of Chnusperli

Relatively cheap hotel (for the area). Staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms are ok, but could use some upgrading. The beds definitely need an update. The beds are narrow and the mattresses have had their best time. If you're lucky the view is amazing. I however had a room at the end of the hall and only had a view of the surrounding buildings. The restaurant is good quality. Nearby there are 2 other restaurants. There is a wooden walk bridge to the centre of Rapperswil-Jona. This is a 20 minute walk...If you have the time it's nice to go here and enjoy the atmosphere and many restaurants.

This hotel is fine for a business trip. I would not book here for a holiday.

Very nice place with a view of the lake, big windows. In summer garden restaurant directly on the lake. Very friendly and attentive service.
Card with not too large selection, which makes you feel that everything can be fresh. Exquisite dishes and pretty presentation.

We made a reservation outside for a friend's birthday. The great view is very overwhelming.

We were immediately served very warmly. The food, for my main course there was a fish from Lake Zurich, was great.

I would like to explicitly highlight the great service. The waiter was very attentive and we were served with many small gestures.

Great fish dishes and alternatives. But for allergy sufferers and vegans it has no offer at the moment of my review. Neither as a starter, main course. The sorbets are at least an alternative.

Hotel on Lake Zurich in a quiet place to sleep well. It has a larger and beautiful bathroom.

Great location, very peaceful but near to station. On an island in the lake with a beautiful footbridge link to the nearby town. Good clean rooms with great bathrooms with showers over baths. Not cheap, but by local standards good value.

Great hotel, nice staff, clean rooms, quiet location with stunning views of Lake Zurich. 1 star deduction breakfast buffet in the morning at 8.45 am very emaciated and not filled. If you come one hour earlier, you have twice the choice. All in all very recommendable!

A super location on Lake Zurich and a beautiful outdoor terrace. Me and the other guests the food tasted very good.

The staff was always very friendly, but went very superficially with the / n (decent) criticism / instructions.

What bothered me was a missing clothes hook on the toilet or a dirty carpet in the stairwell, I think it should have been in the main building (across from the lake pavilion).

Beautifully situated hotel on the peninsula in the village of Hurden. Very pedestrianized area, you can reach Rapperswil via a wooden bridge. The hotel itself consists of a building from perhaps the 18th century and a new part from the 1980s in which I lived. Rooms large enough, but nibbled by a plastic tooth of time. The bathroom is also old when you take the shower overwhelm it. They save on cosmetics, because for the days of their stay they spent one tiny body wash for two sweaty boys.
Snidania served in the downstairs room overlooking the market square are sufficient, but still missing juice glasses, clean table, and cheese.
For a price of over PLN 1,200 for two nights, you could expect a bit more.

What else do you want to have in a hotel for a short trip?

There are a lot of hotels surrounding Zurich lake. Many are beautiful. Rossli is perfect for seminars and spending family time. A very good hosting with a great team. Thanks again

The best tables are not offered to the guest, service leaves much to be desired, price performance is not right.
